There is nothing better at the first day of the month with a cup of coffee to watch Australian Model Railway News. Yet again Will, well collated and great video for everyone in this great hobby
I'm a Yank in the US and I enjoy watching Aussie model trains- very distinctive with a little British and US influence it seems but a history of its own.
14:11 I did NOT know my friend was running this as a full business, I just congratulated him upon finding out through this video, and I'm stunned to see more of both what you and my friend has to show off more. Love the video dude, keep it up!
Another great compilation of all the news Will, Australian Weathering Services look like a great service to get just the right look! What an impressive giveaway opportunity that shows the growth of your channel as a source of news for the hobby. Cheers!
Will, your Australian model railway videos are outstanding! I trust your contribution will be honoured by the Australian model railway industry/suppliers in the very near future. Loved to the R Class up and back trip to Ballarat. The still shots I thought were amazing. My best wishes. Gary
Thanks for another very interesting and informative video presentation Will. Looking at all the high quality models available and becoming available. The modellers of Australian model railways are very well catered for. I remember what it was like in the 70's and 80's. My appreciation to all those manufacturers of Australian model railways. We are a blessed mob indeed.
Nice news update Will. I recently had some of my wagons weathered by Australian Weathering Services he did a fantastic job on them and I'll no doubt be sending him some more stuff.
That was a really great episode of Australian model railway news and I absolutely loved it (I love all of the episodes, but this one was better than normal), i love the new AN beanie and would love to buy it but I have no money as I am only young but I am currently wearing your SRA beanie and your VR scarf. Great video and Will keep up the fabulous work! 😁, I would love to have a 82 so I have entered in to the 82 class competition so wish me luck!, if I win I will be letting people at the model railway club use it if there locomotive breaks down. -Connor
Can Platform Printing Australia do a 3D print of a 50 something year old grumpy man who's been shafted by Google. I'm still nagging the O scale modeler making friends to do a Red Rattler and my pledge is if they do it I will get into O scale. See you in over a year at the next Great Train Show. My video of this years show is still not made, had lightning hit our house and that's caused havoc. I just seem to be caught up in a series of massive failures. Lucky you have a website, so tricky to navigate giveaways on TH-cam now.
G'day mate, watching from Down under, never seen this Australian model News before, very good, its different and most of I love your easy going nature and attitude, I can say I near enough enjoyed every single minute of this. I even let most of the adverts go on. I look forward to the next one. enjoy your day. ✔✔😃😃
Thanks for another update. Disappointed in the ongoing radio silence from the manufacturers about the T class, K Class and Overland sets. I live in hope that they will arrive one day. Keep up the good work.
Very nice mate, the OTM 82's are certainly a great model, have got 4 of those beauties myself. And another 2 to come sometime. Looking forward to getting some RRAY/RRBY wagons soon as well. And i am certainly looking forward to the Auscision N class rerun due sometime early next year. Gonna be heaps of stuff coming by the end of the year as well.
I think I saw somewhere that Auscision has scheduled a release date in mid November for the CLF/CLP’s. I’ve definitely arrived at the conclusion that one would be a solid first pick for my first Auscision model. It wouldn’t be my first HO scale to represent an Australian railway but it would be my first one from an authentic Australian brand. The one I have currently is from the American brand Broadway Limited Imports, it’s BHP Iron Ore’s number 6070 “Port Hedland”.
The 82 class, don’t often do much coal anymore, they do some, but not many. They are very common on the manildra grain trains with the 81 class, but with this service lost to SSR, it will be interesting to see where the displaced units move to, they are also running a weekly service from Sydney to Adelaide hauling grain from regional locations, good video once again will.
I mean they don’t answer emails, they do one announcement every year saying all their products are delayed. Would be very surprised if they actually ever release anything!
@@WillJamesRailways Such a shame! Last I heard from them (was over a month ago now so I could be wrong) is the AD60 was supposed to be shipped to them in september and the D59's tooling wasn't finished but I think they said production by Feb if all goes to plan. Was really hoping for a update in this months news but hard to report when there is limited communication from them. I'm eager to get my hands on these models! just so restless with no timeline
Good Day could someone please give me the details to where the Newcastle Model Railway Club meets and how often and a phone number to make contact . I live in Tumbi Umbi near The Entrance on the Central Coast. Many Thanks Kevin Brown.

Thanks! It’s an on going frustration on this end as well! Even if they said it was delayed would have been helpful! I’ll keep enduring on!
As an American modeler, these are some stunning products. I really like the 82 class logos and the storage boxes.
Absolutely! Thanks for watching!
Thanks again Will, as a point of interest one of the 82 class (8228) did make it to Esperance in WA so WA modelers can use one too.
That’s awesome! Thanks for sharing that information!

Yeah they’ve said that at the Goulburn exhibition!
An excellent choice! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for another great video!! I wish I could make it to Goulburn I may try for Sunbury.
Thanks Paul!

I've seen an 82 on the Sydney Garbage train to Tarago going through Goulburn either to Tarago or back to Sydney.
@@msyoungau sorry, forgot about that service
Not sure if someone has already mentioned it - typo ‘VR Newpart Workshops’ on tank wagons badge.
Not something anyone’s mentioned yet!
I really love your Thomas models. Would you ever consider any of the newer ones like Chuggington or Titipo Titipo
The Skarloey loco? It’s really just for when we exhibit the FreeM009 layout!
No updates about the Eureka AD60 );
