You definitely play differently. Mostly at lower level than this. Likely you would not score a point against these players. Record yourself on video and watch. It will be eye-opening experience, we promise.
@@ThePickleballPirates I agree with the canuck... they can't even hit a 3.5 level drop shot. The one guy doesn't even have the attention span to remember the score. Terrible..
@chesspurist remembering score is not the strongest skill of 50+ pickleball players. As for drop shots, they are absolutely up to the 5.0 level, you just seem to be as good "expert" as Katpilon.
This is Keith, and I am in the video, no excuses, but it was extremely windy that day, so everyone had issues with basic shots; because we filmed with noise reduction, you can't tell.
What is going on with all the hate comments? It seems to me they are completely confused in the new UTR-P rating system vs old UTPR. I am at the Nationals this week and these guys are definitely 5.x
White shirt guy's serve looks borderline illegal. Not sure if I can detect any upward direction in his swing. Looks pretty flat, even playing at 1/4 speed
I guess I’m under ranked then. They look very similar to our 4.0 matches. Not trying to be critical of anyone. Same types of shots, missed hits, same amount of shots per points, etc… when I get the opportunity, I’ll post a new match. If it doesn’t rain again this Saturday here in S FL.
@The1960musicman you probably have wrong expectation. Even pros have about the same type of shots and missed hits. Usually the pace, placement, anticipation, margins, spin, hand speed are different which are not easy to see on video.
Good play..the guy in the white shirt was a good player…serves returns of serve solid, drops good, drives goods, dinks good, good hands….the two on the other side…can’t think of your name….not good cohesiveness….you would play better with one of those guys you normally play with..in my humble opinion.
Keith has done this multiple times but during tournament we are trying to capture the talk on the court as well. If he had two mics maybe that is a possibility.
There's a difference between old 5.0s and young 5.0s I consider myself 4.5 but I am Young so games against these guys would probably be pretty close but if I were to play a young 5.0 like cliff it probably wouldn't be nearly as close
This is exactly what title says. Try to read it again. This is Pictona Open 50+ 5.0 bracket by definition. It has nothing to do with you opinion about the players level. Additionally you can always check DUPR ratings of the players using the names in the description. Your "3.5 at best" comment just shows you are currently completely clueless, educate yourself.
I guess I have been watching too much pro pickleball lately. This just doesn't seem as clean as when I play against 5.0+ in my parks. The guy brushing every shot, seems more like bad habits from 4.0ish that you clean up on the way to 5.0 for example.
@ThePickleballPirates well, I feel like this time you maybe set up false expectations. You might need a different word than "intense" to describe the post... (I am 4.5 senior so the play looked familiar, I get it.)
looks like 3.5 to me. but who knows I'm from Canada... maybe we play different up here.

funny how 4ish players seem to think they understand how talented and how frustrating these guys would be to compete against....

Maybe 3.0😮

looks illegal to me.
Guy in Blue looks illegal from the first point.
bro thats my math teacher
which one?
@Stanley. Fav teacher and mentor. I drill with him sometimes but im sure no 5.0
I’m a 4.0 and that doesn’t look close
Post a match, we will be the judge!
Of course it does not. These are 4.5s and 5.0s, you have no chances against them.

@ThePickleballPirates armchair quaterback some think its a real sport. Easy come out show us your stuff. App is open to all.
3.5 max
Probably even lower. Why do you publish your self rating estimate here?
Weird game - 4.5 defense with 3.5 offense

hey, you should mic up when you're playing...better vid, easier to follow.
Keith has done this multiple times but during tournament we are trying to capture the talk on the court as well. If he had two mics maybe that is a possibility.
5’s??…..Hmmmm
The bracket was Skill: 5.0, Age: 50-59.
doesn't even look like 3.0....
You’re the worst type of person. Have a nice day!

Just sloppy. More drilling would clean it up. Too much rec/open play.
@@jhsporty when old, your body can play or drill,, not both. Nobody wins a trophy for drilling.
@ lol whatever you think you’re right. I’ll keep to drilling and winning 🥇
no way 5.0 - 3.5 at best

Dumb comment. It is senior level, but it is definitely 5.0+.

Pro pickleball is at completely different level. These are seniors. They rarely look smooth.
This is 3.5-3.8 Senior playing.
@Satjr35031 no, these are 4.5-5.5 Seniors
@ThePickleballPirates well, I feel like this time you maybe set up false expectations. You might need a different word than "intense" to describe the post... (I am 4.5 senior so the play looked familiar, I get it.)
@jeremiiah1797 "Intense" is subjective unlike ratings.
5.0! I am 72 female 4.0 and can beat them
In your dreams maybe. In practice you would get pickled. Record yourself on video and watch. It will open your eyes a bit.
5.0 🤣🤣
NOT 5.0 when you cannot return a basic serve. NVZ work is inconsistent.
They cannot? Did not return a single one? How many did they miss?
Ok that's pretty low level 😮
no, it is not low level.
I can beat them and I look like Nikocado before the weight loss
Maybe in eating contest. In pickleball you will score no points
