在你的国家,人们对中国有什么误解?外国人对你的国家一般有什么误解?In your country, what misconception do people have about China? Do foreigners have any misconceptions about your country?
Thank you so much for your video and helping us learn about Chinese culture and language. I live in Shenzhen and I am very appreciative of people like you who are helping foreigners learn Chinese and understand the culture and history of China better ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi I found tea time Chinese on Spotify and found your utube here .. I am a beginner Chinese that wants to upgrade my level to intermediate.. I can say I really enjoy your podcast it motivates me to study more and really love the pace n repetition. Oh also love all the topics! regarding perception of Chinese eating dogs lol there are many Asian countries that still eat dogs is just the western blew more focus on China.. and regarding xinjiang i dont know why it becomes very viral, I know China respect muslim too like there are a lot of Chinese muslim in China that ppl don’t know about.. and am surprise why the media doesn’t care abt Afghanistan, Iraq and soooo many Middle East war that need to get equally concern..
Hi Nathan, I discovered your podcast on Spotify and really enjoy it, because I can actually follow and understand most of what you say. However, I'm a bit uncomfortable the way you handled this topic of Chinese oppression of Uyghurs. It may be true that Chinese people in your area treat Uyghurs well, I'm happy to hear that. But that does not disprove the evidence for the concentration camps in Xinjiang, in which people are imprisoned without having commited any crimes. It's a very worrysome issue, and I wish you didn't just dismiss it. Kind regards
Thank you for the message. I am aware of the controversies around the Uyghur communities in China. I wrote this podcast in a period when I was in a university in Europe. Each time when I present myself as Chinese, European students teasingly asked me whether pollution was really bad, or people treat Uyghurs terribly. I am astounded by the negative portraits of China by western media and the influence on public perspectives, and wanted to corrent a few things. Thank you for studying Chinese, and your effort to understand China in its true face. 加油!
I'm from a big Arab country and It is also really common here that Chinese government is oppressing Eyghur Muslims and Chinese eat everything but they are not dirty ! For me, I don't believe that Chinese eat everything but unfortunately there's still a really few people in Guangdong eat some strange things! When it comes Eyghur, I don't know much about them because unfortunately It seems there's no free press there;! So I don't know what's going on the region! It's probably a tough region!
Thank you Sayid for the kind message. I have several muslim friends (both in China and in France), and they are very friendly and peace-loving people. I wish to pay a visit to the province of Xinjiang as well.

谢谢你的鼓励!Just hoping that our little effort can spread knowledge of what China really is like, instead of from mainstream media.

❤️
