Roc Marciano and Griselda crew led me to Crimeapple. I had pretty much left Hip Hop completely by 2013, and only discovered Marciano during the pandemic lockdowns. This led me down the rabbit hole of this "new" underground. I realized that Hip Hop is not just still alive, but we are low-key in the middle of 2nd Golden Age and don't even realize it!!! Let's keep it underground, please.
I told someone recently we’re in the midst of the 2nd best era in hip hop in terms of quality. Way too many gems been released over the last 15 years alone
You know what I'd love a B movie crime film with the soundtrack being made up of artists like .CRIMEAPPLE . Roc Marciano . Boldy James . Mayhem lauren . Mach-Hommy . Grilselda/Black Sopranos . The God Fahim & several others like that

That whole NY underground scene is so culturaly dicerse Hus Kingpin (is Brazillian), Crime is Colombian and Mach is Hatian. Each artists has pride in thiere culture. Also Forgot to Mention Ito and Flea Lord are Puerto Rican. Each brings a different vibe and flavor to their music. Different kinds of grimey street stories
Awesome stuff bro. Instant sub from me. Been onto Crimeapple since like 2018 ish. Tracks with Daniel Son and Pounds & a live show in Jersey 2018 that had Crime, Son, and Rome Streetz all perform Would love to see a video on Daniel Son, he’s really getting noticed now, and has done tracks with many artists you featured videos on already. Plus he’s from Toronto, I live an hour away
Just an idea Def Goldbloom. I'm sure you've heard of a group called Epidemic. And if so it would be really dope if you could give them their flowers. Hex One and Teknition are monsters.
"The world of hip hop can be so big, but because of artists like Crimeapple, it's becoming a little bit smaller each and every day". Mind expanding on that? A lot of the vid you were saying how Crime is expanding the appeal of underground east coast but you close off saying he's making the world of hip hop smaller, I just don't follow.
By expanding the reach of east coast hip hop to different countries he’s making the world of hip-hop feel smaller and more connected. Like how if you see someone you know while far from home you’d say “it’s a small world.”

CRIMEAPPLE is one of those artists I keep telling myself that I should look into/listen to more so this is great timing
Wet Dirt is a great place to start. Enjoy!
YDFWC?, Jaguar On Palisade 2, and Aguardiente are some really good ones to get into
Then Dj muggs albums are his best work imo

In terms of rappers who are technical beasts and literally make me LOL, Crimeapple & Bronson always take the crown for me
Dope video. One thing I admire about Crimeapple is his cockiness. The man is hilarious on some tracks of his.

First time i heard from CRIMEAPPLE, he was featured in a song from Vinnie Paz. Since then, I've been checking his stuff. 🔥

Why there’s always two versions of his albums cover Art ?
Physical releases and digital. A lot of artists do it, I only highlighted it in this vid cuz it got the theme of duality
