- Here it is... my first Amazon Favorites video for sugar gliders. Amazon is not a great place to buy things that are marketed as "for sugar gliders" BUT there are a LOT of items that are great and safe and I could not imagine my sugar glider life without.

Also, I want to thank you for all the time you put into these videos. They have helped my wife and I so much. When we bought our first glider, we were lied to by the people about their food requirements, pairing them, cages, and more, on top of over charging us by a lot. We could have bought close to 5 of these babies for the price of our 1.. So,
IF YOU ARE NEW TO THESE GLIDERS OR YOU ARE THINKING OF GETTING YOUR FIRST ONE, PLEASE DO SOME SERIOUS RESEARCH BEFORE JUMPING IN HEAD FIRST.
Don’t make the mistake we did and see a glider for sale and bought it because we always wanted one. Yes we still want ours but we should have prepared first. Best choice we have made for a new family member and worth the work. Thanks for reading my rant. I just want these babies to have a happy and healthy life. You will get so much joy out of them if you do right by them.

Just got my 2 double critter nation cages in today. Absolutely love them. I can’t wait to get the third one so that I can make it as big as yours. I only have two gliders and I want them to have as much room as they can so that they do not feel caged. Plus, they have the whole spare bedroom to themselves also as a playroom. I have only had them for three weeks and I am trying to spoil them rotten.
Thanks for the tips :) was looking for a tent, and the mesh screens that most people seem to post look really flimsy or thin. Ordered one of the sport pop ups from anthem, tho at this time it seems after shipping and taxes it comes out to slightly over what amazon charges with the free shipping
my canopy bed tent is awesome and easy to use is a pop up tent but only 1 door but i love it

It is a part of the Bml diet. It would be ok as an occasional treat even if you were not feeding Bml

Great list! Definitely buying some of these 🥰 For the fish sticks, should I stop feeding these? My sugar gliders favorite treat is absolutely 100% fish sticks, especially one of my little girls. Do you have any replacement recommendation’s or something I could do to the fish sticks?
I have personally chosen to stop feeding them but everyone has to make their own decision ♥️. Mine enjoy no salt added pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, shredded almonds. I just put out a treat video not too long ago too ♥️

I have the bed tent from Amazon and hate it. It's not sturdy and is always collapsing. Not to mention it came with 2 holes in the netting

Is there any specific reason that you are not using the feline pine for bedding anymore? I am just curious.
When I switched cages, the new cage doesn’t have a grate that slides out so I decided it would be easier not to have a drop tray for Cleaning purposes. I still love feline pine.
@@sugargliderdiaries Thank you for answering my question!! I went to a Petsmart today and got the feline pine for my babies! When you were using feline pine bedding, did your babies try to grab pieces of feline pine through a grate?
Great list I needed this info. I have similar trays, and I have some little boxes that are similar to the tooth brush things, but the feeding stations look nice, the tent I definitely need, especially for one of my girls Daisy who we call crazy Daisy, and the vacuum & air purifier will be nice to have, especially the air purifier, since I did just get a new vacuum maybe I’ll get the air purifier first. And the feeders. And the pumpkin seeds. My gliders will ignore any “typical treats” such as yogurt drops so I ate some to see how they tasted well they don’t taste like real yogurt so that was no good I can see why they said “no.” Someone suggested Cheerios, white chocolate chips (no normal chocolate) butterscotch chips, all “human” things I saw on a forum. Those they will eat. But treats manufactured specifically for animals they think are yuck. 🤷♀️ Do you have a video on lots of good treat options? If not maybe you can make that? Sorry I’m being annoying lately, it’s just I’m obsessed and want to make sure I have all the best stuff for them lol and so many different opinions online, same with the chameleon community (we have 9 chameleons lol)
For what it's worth, if you go to the baby section, they have these little star shaped fruit flavored puffs and freeze dried yogurt drops. My boy loves the puffs, a LOOOOT. Especially peach and blueberry so far. Plan to try others at some point. They also taste pretty yummy, and not too much sugar. :]

How do you get your gliders to go to the bathroom? Mine always poops and pees on me A LOT. I put them on a paper towel but they don’t stay still LOL
You don't. They pee and poop everywhere. It's a small amount. You just clean it off

Did your gliders ever eat the feline pine pellets? I tried using it and really liked it, but Krampus kept reaching through and eating it. 🤦♀️
Mine did chew on them occasionally but I don’t believe they ingested any.
@@sugargliderdiaries So far I haven't found any type of litter/bedding that he won't reach through the bars and eat. I just have to use nothing and clean the tray more often. And now Merlin does it too lol.

The one problem im having is i have 4 sugies but one of the female glider wont get along with the other 2 !! The last time she bit a hole in one of my males back!!!😞😯😲😲😲😳.!!! I have 2 males & 2 females. My glider beauty gets along with one male but NOT the other male& female.!!😭😢😞. But i want to make my cage one hole big one!!. & dont know how to get the female beauty to get along with my other 2 !!!😳😢😞. Any suggestion on how to do this & not have a hole in there back or a dead one!!.😯😲 oh the other female ..bindi is not even a yr old.

Some things like there diets and wheels are not recommended in most glider circles. They have other things that are ok to use.
Many certified and experienced breeders will tell you that only their cages are good and maybe some treats. Their dry diet seems to be an issue with tons of people. However other than that tons of breeders do NOT suggest it and go from there🤷🏾♀️
Also The pet glider.com is a good place to buy things for your glider.
