Being a Floridian I can't imagine working in the snow as you guys do..Entertaining to watch for sure.I'd be sitting in front of a warm fire watching you out the window....Instead I'm watching you on the big screen in the air conditioning...
Wow! The greenhouse looks great! You both worked so hard and persevered to the end. Now, kick of your shoes and build a nice fire and relax! God bless! ♥🙌🙏
Went to college in Moscow. Loved northern Idaho. Traded it for the upper peninsula of Michigan. More snow, not as much mountain. Love what you’re doing! We’re working on the same stuff out here. Snow really gets in the way when you have buildings to construct. 🤣
NICELY DONE getting your new greenhouse closed in!!! I assume you'll be installing the doors soon, so it will be fully "dried in"! That greenhouse is a GREAT investment toward self-sufficiency!
If the moose are posing any problems then maybe consider some kind of food plot they would like away from the buildings. It looked liked they were just foraging for food. Maybe just a bale of hay on the ground would keep them away.
The greenhouse was way more expensive than the tents. And required heavy equipment to prepare the surface. It would have required amazing foresight to figure out where to level the soil!
Hi Martin and Jules! Nicely done you two! You guys just forge ahead! Me, I would of, waited till spring! Lol!😊 The difference is, you love the snow and I can't wait to get away from it! Lol!😊
Are you all going to plant in ground in the greenhouse? After many years growing a garden in the pacific northwest. The last couple of years I switched to a raised bed 4 foot by 8 foot and 2 foot high. When you get old like me it helps.
Man I like that Greenhouse made out of polycarbonate that's great stuff that's going to be a nice Greenhouse and if you put a wood stove in there to keep it warm for an extra couple more months and some lighting you can keep growing stuff for another month or two cool
Hate to tell you Julie but if you hurt you hurt. There is no such thing as a wimp when you are in pain. Take care of yourself. And have fun finishing the greenhouse, you will enjoy it. Another use I have seen on other channels is that they put their chickens in it for the winter so they are protected from predators and will keep the rodents out of it.
It's lucky the ladder can hold your weight. I would have put a 2x4 with a horizontal piece attached under the ladder as a bracer. You are running the risk of the ladder folding under your weight. I don't think I remember hearing how you will be heating the greenhouse. Can you please mention that in the next video? I would also be interested in hearing the layout plans for inside the greenhouse. I have a similar setup in my yard. I have a row along each side of beds set at almost waist height and another double row running up the middle. the space between has a raised walkway of pallets for drainage. Gravel is the base for the floor. I have bins under the beds full of supplies and several large bins that are composting material. They themselves generate heat and extrude steam. I have several tubs where worms are farmed. Eggshells for calcium, banana peels for phosphorus. Organic waste for mulching. Any cardboard is used for the lining of bed bases as well as small branches. This is known as Huglekulture (sp?). The stuff rots down over time and also generates heat at the same time.
Ya'll are killing it there on the greenhouse! Great job. Marty, just wondering why in the world do you look forward to 8' of snow each year.. lol 😂😅 Love what ya'll are doing 😊
That is so cool to see y'all taking care of yall's home and seeing all the animals that come into yall's land ...... really love seeing yall's videos.....
Hey here's just a suggestion maybe you should build a big fence and electrify it to keep the unwanted moose and bears and all the other animals out moose will run into that and tear it to pieces by accident they will just charge right into it and if you have any bears or big cats around they will surely do a number on it to try to tear it down just a suggestion fortify it keep smiling
Martin, you are blading the wrong direction. Your blade should be pointed next to the building and it will push the snow pack would push away from the building. It's the same with dirt, mud, etc.
How come it is that so many people get their houses mostly finished and then leave the exterior unfinished FOREVER? Instead they go on to do a 1000 other projects that take years all while their house's moisture barrier is being degraded by UV and allowing moisture to get through since there is no siding over top to protect it. Tyvek style house wraps are not all that high grade in the first place and one does not fully work without the other, especially in a wet climate. It's crazy to me that people are so complacent about this.
Those 2 young moose obviously lost their mother to roadkill or predators. Moose calves stay with mom for the first 2 years until mom gives them the boot. Those 2 aren't even 1 yr old yet, so momma moose would be within line of sight. They are looking for friends around your area to help them make it to their second birthday, when they can safely fend for themselves.
Juls, what do you mean, "using body weight"? You don't even have any! If you'd like, I could easily loan you a hundred pounds or so... provided you throw 'em away when you are finished and never return 'em to me! 🙂
John 1:12-13 King James Version 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Gods blessings over you .
Totally agree. I come from a family of academics and at our dinner table the bible is known as the Big Book of Fairytales. I have watched this channel for a long time. Love their tenacity but find it sad that they can’t see past the ludicrous nonsense in the bible. Just be good to your fellow man and get rid of all religion the world would be a much better place
That is such a nice greenhouse - love the Moose too, we don't get them here in the Pyrenees. Keep Smiling 😊 Julie & Ian 🇫🇷

I would rather be working in the cold months like you are doing than dealing with a muddy spring or humid summer. The greenhouse looks awesome.
You and Jewels have a Beautiful thing going... I root for you every week in your adventure.
Looking good hope u get it done in time
Moving around and getting ready for planting 😊
Wow! The greenhouse looks great! You both worked so hard and persevered to the end. Now, kick of your shoes and build a nice fire and relax! God bless! ♥🙌🙏
The moose; they must think you're building them a home for the winter. You guys have done a great job building your home.
Wow, extension ladder on a pallet on forks on tractor! Where is Safety Sally?
Nice, GREAT JOB.
We couldn't believe that moose just walked right into the chicken pen. There would have been a ground moose special at my house! 😃
Martin you and wife and son did a killer job
You did an awesome job. Keep warm and safe.❤
Loved the curious moose! And always really love your cats!

were getting 5 10 inches of snow Tuesday morning in iowa

The greenhouse should have been your first structure when you purchase the property. It would have made a better place than the tents.
They get rather moist.
Hindsight is 20/20

Amazing greenhouse!
Good Morning. Interesting video 😂. The Moose stepping over the Chicken Fence, Loved it. 🙏🕊️🌹🌻🌼☕💜❤️👍
Oh, that looks awesome. Great job, can't wait to see it and inspect Marty's work 😂
Be well and safe family ❤, so proud of your perseverance to get the greenhouse dried in, y’all are doing great ❤🎉
Lucky meeeeeeeeeeeee!! I don't get snow here. Sorry Marty but I see snow only as a water source after it's melted.
Great job on the Green House !!! Love the snow !!! Love your wonderful family !!! Your videos are the best !!!

Could you use this as a "free range" chicken coupe? Fertilizer for the plants...
Enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing.

Where can I see Yall's videos? (Who is Yall?)
What? Yes a bona-fide plumber now!
Loved the video. We are getting snow here in Northern Missouri as well.

Now you just film the snow sliding off the roof for a few hours, and you have yourself an AMSR channel. It looked awesome on the time lapse...
Nice greenhouse you done good job
Martin must be a plumber😅😅😅
Thanks
Looks like y'all need a big light plant out there so you can keep working in the dark!
Nggak bisa bahasa inggris pak Martin, suka aja nontonya. 😂😂😂 Semangat pakk..
Those timelapses were so cool to see. Loving it! Thanks you guys. Have a great week!
Sketchy Martin that’s your new name!
The cat is comoflage.😊😊😊😊
Glad you got the Tux-ster under control. Mooses can hurt ya in a hurry. Glad we only have elk and mule deers to deal with.
Have you considered hardieboard for siding?
My dream is the greenhouse, but I know it never come true , your is looks beautiful ❤
응원합니다
Since the mousses like to eat, we got completely done the greenery. Are you gonna have a problem keeping him out of the greenhouse?
Shouldn't those louvers be placed over the doors back and front because where you decide to put them the snow would prevent them from working?
I love this channel
really snow for a week I don't about that lol
Crazy moose getting so close.
❤ looking good folks, I like Martin's Bible videos
no excuse wait for the spring
very interesting!!
Martin, you are blading the wrong direction. Your blade should be pointed next to the building and it will push the snow pack would push away from the building. It's the same with dirt, mud, etc.
When you get the corner trim and doors on, do you expect the ground inside stay unfrozen?
Only if the sun shines every day to maintain the inside temperature.
The moose is bumming because your putting your garden inside.
Keren 👍

Martin.... Is it legal to do hunting in your area? Hunting for food.
Snow and ice is a big nuisance!
there names are lunch and dinner lol
I cannot justify paying 37k for one greenhouse
I don't🤔🤔😒 see Safety Suzie on the roof??

did you see any flying squirrels?
What is the plural of Moose.?
1 of those moose eating those bushes would be in the freezer As a Nuisance animal

There is no blizzard.
Looking very cold and white..lol I could be wrong but i thought the vents went up high usually in the middle above the doors on both ends??
Juls, what do you mean, "using body weight"? You don't even have any! If you'd like, I could easily loan you a hundred pounds or so... provided you throw 'em away when you are finished and never return 'em to me! 🙂
free steak meat
😅looks like your fence needs to be alot taller so that moose can't step over it.
Or electrified 😂
What does moose meat taste like?
🇳🇴👍👍👌
all there after is food m8
STILL no siding on house?????? Really
