What about the previous gen Range Rover sport tdv8? Is that reliable?

I’ve been lucky enough to have 2 versions of this new model already, a D300 from December to April and a P440e for the past 3 weeks. Which tbh I’m not as keen on as the diesel so I have re-ordered the diesel in exact spec I now have on order just a diesel. I find the P440e much heavier than the diesel, noticeably different when cornering etc. also I don’t like the searching between petrol and electric at low speeds. Also it’s not as smooth as the diesel on the road I don’t know whether it’s the weight difference but the hybrid is a choppier ride. It also has a small tank only doing about 300 miles on petrol whereas the diesel was nearly 500. On electric only I’m getting 54 miles which should improve over the next few weeks. Archie makes a good point on fuelling, I thought the Diesel has great range. These are just my opinions after living with both recently.
I have a Range Rover Velar D300 R-Dynamic HSE and it is the best car I have ever had and I have previously driven BMW's, Audi's, Isuzu Troopers, Volvo's and others. My Velar is super smooth, comfortable, very quiet, powerful and amazing to drive. I only ever want another Range Rover again for the rest of my life.
This is so cool, I just love a Range Rover. It just looks so nice and comfy but so capable of doing so many things!

I have an old 2010 3.6 V8. I love it to bits. My partner hates it because it’s always throwing up faults and costs a fortune to fix but I can’t bring myself to get rid of it because when it’s not faulting, it’s wonderful. Wish I had the money to get a newer one.

I can imagine how good it would feel to own one of these range rovers and whenever you want you can fill it up with food and snacks and go literally on any mountain and camp there in safety inside your suv. that's really a dream

Hi Archie. I have a 2020 svr and am just about to take delivery of a p400 autobiography sport. U always give theses big prices for selling u car. Where do u get the big money u always state. Lol. U said in this video that svr are 80k plus I can’t get anywhere near that as a quote for mine. Any help would be great fully appreciated. Matt
If you keep it for more than a year, say the average of 3 years, then it depreciates a fair bit. The current demand over stock may help things for a bit longer.

Why is it always the poor that complain about reliability the upper class that are leasing them or business write off don't care if it has problems as long as its under 3 year warranty which is how long most own them for. But the poor will always complain about a vehicle that is more than there income.
