Yvonne …these are so fun to watch! Many memories of some items come flooding back. And many “oh I want that” moments too! LOL!!!
I remember Tupperware Parties, never hosted one, but worked with 100’s of women, someone was always having one ! Home Interior Parties, ETC ETC ETC ! LOL!
I have 2 of those pretty Blue Glass Birds. They were new in the 70’s . I don’t know were mine went. Probably still packed away when we moved to my family home. We brought 27 years of marriage and packed it on top of 58 years of marriage of my parents 🤷‍♀️. YES I need to do “decluttering “ soon !
Those slaps of wood were gorgeous! I love my wood ! 🥰
Those Hummels, I collect the RED HEAD ones ! My neighbor collected them, when she passed away her daughter ( who is a redhead ) let me pick a few out because I took care of her . I may have 6 or 7 that I have found in my search. They aren’t easy to come by for a good price. Since I’m a red head, my daughters are both red heads and one granddaughter… it is only right I collect some ! LOL!! My justification 🥰
Looking forward to the next trip ! Glad you got the fabric…. Nice !!
    💛💛🌞🌞💛💛 ( I’m pushing sunshine ! )

Wow you have so many great antique shops in your area. I love watching them.
Sometimes I would like to see more, and visual the prices better. Maybe splitting it in 2 parts will be a good idea. Either way. Imma keep watching!

I’m an avid crocheter, and yes people do dye and make their own yarn.
You don’t find it at craft stores but at nicer shops for $$. The yarn that is sort of curled is wound in “hanks” and tends to be nicer. The ones that you usually see at Michael’s and WalMart are wound in “skeins”. I’m here for you lol!

My daughter is also an avid crocheter and recently knitter. So I've also seen these many times when we go different small stores that specifically cater to both. I'm glad you were able to explain it so well. I only know what she tells me haha. She has been looking into dying her own yarn as there aren't many people that do it in our immediate area.

My grandma had an old set of bingo cards. That’s it. No calling out the number cards and no markers. She took large buttons and labeled them with the proper letter and number and of course we would go to her sewing machine drawer and pull out a hand full of buttons to use as markers. So I found the card with buttons very nostalgic. When I was very young, my grandpa rolled his own cigarettes and also smoked a pipe. He used Prince Albert tobacco for both. I had to smile when I saw the Prince Albert can. He carried it in the center pocket of his overalls.

I can imagine making the long one into a bench or something to set houseplants out on the porch on. I remember going with Mom to those Tupperware parties her friends would throw. The yarn is hand dyed. People will purchase it and wind it in the balls your formal seeing. Making blanket, sweater, hat and etc. Since covid many people have picked up knitting and crocheting again. With the surge in popularity of hand crafts work. If you looking for smalls. If you find yarn at Goodwill pick it up take a styrofoam ball glue an end down and start winding. You would only have to do enough for the ball to be covered. Put in bowls or basket on display 2 for $ 5 or something like that. Varying size and colors will put a pop color in you booth and you can do it while watching TV. If you try it let me know how it goes. The investment in time and money wouldn't be much at all. However you know your customer better than I do maybe stat out with a small test batch. LOL
