2x speed is the minimum speed for audiobooks for me, and my friend says it’s my “serial killer trait”, so I’m really happy to find someone else like me 💀😂
2x speed for audiobooks, and 2.5-3x for podcasts here 😅 My friends say the exact same thing. “And you still understand what they’re saying?” YES, you don’t? 😂
I will literally get so annoyed if they talk too slow lmao even in 2x speed they sometimes have longer breaks between paragraphs or sentences and I’m like really?? I can’t imagine listening to that in 1x

0.8 - 0.9 speed for me bc i have ocd & i end up re-reading a single page numerous times bc i feel like i haven't comprehended what i read so using an audiobook/text to speech/assistive reader while reading along with the actual book helps me so much & i retain what i'm reading better. my ocd makes reading normally so frustrating & it takes a while to finish reading books so using audiobooks also helps me read faster ^^ 🤍🙏🏼
i usually listen to audiobooks at 2.2x speed, sometimes it’s up to 2.5x speed
I usually listen at 2x. I have to slow it slightly to 1.7x to get used to the narrator. I definitely read in my head faster than that 😂

I usually listen to it at 1x speed because I'm always afraid I'll stop paying attention and lose things (but I don't have a habit of listening to audiobooks and english is not my first language)
I get the singer thing so much especially when hes a singer and he writes a song for her and sings it like the second hand embaressnent i feel in unmatched and they just have the most CRINGIEST lyrics😭😭

With or without the lashes always stunning! I usually listen to books at 1.5 to 2.0 speed on audiobook, I just find 1 x speed is a bit slow for my brain 🤣
I'd love to see a video specifically for audiobook recommendations! I've tried to listen to audiobooks a couple of times but couldn't get into the narrators for the books I picked - I would love to have the option to listen to one when I'm doing other things though 😊

I listen to audiobooks on anything from 1.25-2.25 x speed. Completely depends on the book for me.

I agree with the Lauren Asher stuff too , I taught I would like her but then I read the dream billionaire series and it was only meh … I didn’t even bother picking up her new series because I knew I won’t like them and there are definitely better books there especially for this length . Honestly the most upsetting thing about that book is that amazing cover that I know I’m never gonna pick up .

Funny enough, most books I read are through audio while I go along with the physical copy. So basically I have the audiobook read the book for me. And my speed has increased throughout the couple of years I've been reading. So, now I currently listen to audiobooks on 1.75x to 2x speed (depending on how slow or fast the narrator speaks). But weirdly enough, if I'm listening to an audiobook by itself 1.5x to 1.7x is my limit. You're a superhero with being able to listen to audiobooks on 3x and still understand what they're saying.😂

how you’re feeling about Love Unwritten is how I felt about Happy Place by Emily Henry. It’s an unpopular opinion but I didn’t like that book. And it crushed me. Cause I loved Book Lovers❤

Let me know how spicy Dawn of onyx is please. I want to read it but I don’t like much spice. 3/10 is the most I can handle. If the spice is like the throne of glass series and Serpens and the wings of night series or less than I’m ok with it. This book just sounds so good but I know it has some spice.

I have ask have read of Edgar rice burrows books either the Tarzan series or the warlord of mars series . As romance is part of both series .
I think Lauren asher might use the same male voice for her audiobooks, I tried to listen to the dreamland series and I returned it to audible within 10 mins because I hated his voice

Hey, just wanted to point out that Better Help is a very sketchy company, and A LOT of people have had very bad experiences. They also reportedly are very zionist but I haven’t seen much about that so I don’t know the details. I thought you might want to know for future reference especially considering you talk about Palestine in every video.

Also as a lash technician the best thing to do if you keep getting reactions is to just avoid them 🥲 I’ve heard and seen some horrible reactions from other people’s clients I adore getting them and know they’re addictive but I would advise against it
not sure about the audiobook but i read love unwritten and i didn't enjoy it 🥲 rafa was too grumpy and mean and depresso half of the time + the book is outrageously long lol but love this reading vlog!!
