I like the fact that SG is vocal against the socialist policies of the government. Over a period of time socialism leads to a loss of productivity which makes your country poor and can result in social unrest.

Budget is done and dusted. Now we have to see what is the Economy Growth that is achievable.
by 2025 end, as per IMF, India's Nominal GDP would be $ 4.3 Trillion USD, Even with avg. growth of 6% and adding avg. inflation of 4.5%, India would cross $ 5 Trillion USD by Mid-2027
Keeping political and electoral impact aside is this budget really a step forward in the realisation of government's own vision and policy horizon of "Viksit Bharat". This merits a serious debate free from partisan reactions and polarizing politics.
Budget is now not a policy statement but mostly a capital allocation statement.

जो अर्जेंटीना में आज हो रहा है, उसमें से बहुत सी चीजों का ही तो वादा करके ही तो मोदी जी आए थे।
उसमें सबसे बड़ा वादा More Governance, Less Government, आर्थिक विकास और अच्छे दिन का था। मैने भी मोदी जी को तब वोट किया था।
मोदी जी बाकी जो भी किया हो, Low Government की जगह More Government कर दिया।
आर्थिक विकास तो मध्यम गति से चल रहा है।
और सबसे बड़ी समस्या तो ये है कि पिछले 10 सालों में Education और हेल्थकेयर में कोई Investment शायद ही हुआ है।
Skill India जितना शानदार Idea था और उतना ही बेकार इंप्लीमेंटेशन था उसका।
भारत में Jobs के लायक लोग नहीं हैं।
मुझे तो लग रहा है कि भारत में ट्रेनिंग देने वाले लोग ही नहीं हैं और सरकार ने कुछ किया ही नहीं है इसके ऊपर कुछ।

बोल्ड बातों का जमाना नहीं ये ही सही है। 1-किसान बिल बहुत भारी पड़े 2-डिस इंवेस्टमेंट का मतलब SC ST OBC को नाराज़ करना है(ये तो अब आगे की कोई भी सरकार नहीं कर सकती) और इसका कोई फायदा भी नहीं है प्रा० कम्पनियों ने बहुत निराश किया है। कई PSE की कायापलट इस सरकार ने की है PSE index 20 से 83 है आज 3-सो मीडिया पे बहुत निगेटिव कम्पेन की वजह से आज हर सरकार पुरानी समाजवादी व्यवस्था में ज्यादा सेफ फील करती है 4- 240 सीटें ही रह गयी हैं तो बोल्ड स्टैप तो क्या ही लेगें

When intellectuals of the country don't questions govt on economic inequality then what can I say. Capitalism is good but must be balanced with socialism. Otherwise govt will decrease the corporate tax in the name of capitalism
Finally some relief has come for middle class who have been burdened with EMI, rent, children's education and healthcare costs.

This liability act that killed our nuclear ambitions and was added at BJP's behest. Now they are waking up and cleaning up their own mess. This is the story of India. 6% odd growth in India, is in spite the govt., not because. Anything below 8% is a total failure given how low our base is.
Here's a suggestion for Apoorva, use English words where necessary. Most of your viewers are "Hinglish"speakers rather than conventional Hindi speakers. You'd be sounding like those airline "Kursi ki peti baandhein" out of sync Hindi when everyone understands "Seat belt" instead. So, you use everyday words like "choose"instead of "chayan"or "request"instead of "guzaarish"
One thing I got know is that Shekhar mama and people around him and also the people in the print are very rich. The fact that person earning a lakh per month is considered lower middle class, that means people earning less than a lakh are lower class and people earning less than 50k a month are at poverty line? I am not a delhite, but still these exemptions of income tax is considerable for me. Guess Shekhar Gupta is not in touch with the ground situation here.
Skill Education needs to be taken seriously In India otherwise unemployment problem can't be solved. 😕
For the past several months SG was wailing from the rooftop how Modi was taking the middle class for granted - now that the government has finally given something for the middle classes is happy about, SG has rubbished it and wailing against it. Seems nothing will make SG happy, except..
While analyzing any budget is good, not enough attention is given to the status of various schemes and policies in the previous budgets.

How can you have capitalist leaders when the voters are socialist? The people hate the businessmen, love government jobs. They choose the 200 units of free electricity instead of a decently functioning state. The beaurocrats just won their fight for pension, that they do not deserve. The power employees won their fight against privatisation. The govt has only somehow managed to defeat punjab farmers now.

Nuclear reactors also generate dangerous waste. It’s been a huge problem in the west on where to store because nobody wanted that waste in their backyard. We can’t even deal with regular waste. I am hoping government is not short sighted as we always do in not addressing this topic. Just like storm drain, waste management.. it continues to be a problem after 75 years of independence.
what i heard, in India nuclear waste is negligible, because our supply is so little that we have to recycle the waste many times so that we can use every last ounce of it. in west this is a big problem because they don't reuse the waste. only France does it. so i don't think nuclear waste is a big problem for us..

There is no slabs. If your earn 13LPA you go back go old tax bracket which is 20%(correct me if i'm wrong)
Tax brackets also have come down a little bit. That is helpful too. But you are right . If you earn 13 LPA your taxation starts almost at 5 lakh itself and those 5% and 10% taxes will have to be paid.
