This is how you tank. It's support for your infantry, not a one man flag capping machine.

For those complaining, let's put it this way;
We have said tank, said tank goes to the objec..... oh, nope too late, it's gone... sod it, ah shit they're flooding the objective...oh boy..
We have other said tank, hangs back, waits for an opportunity to strike, takes enemy units out, allows team mates to close the gap and get positioned as they hold the line
Just how can you not see that this is a wise decision?
I know which one i'd have on my team, and / or if this were a real life situation (I'm aware it's a game)

Well played in this one brother. The best I went is 93-0 Amiens conquest, used the flanker. I don't really get much use out of the howitzer simply because it's too hard to hold a flag with. Ahh well.. Nice video
If the control freaks at Dice didn't want the tank to be played like this you can bet your ass they would've made it impossible a long time ago.
PS- News flash: in war, anything that kills enemies is good for your side, and the more enemies you kill, the better it is for your side.

I was mainly an Assault and Medic player. Used a Heavy Tank every once in a while if i got an opportunity to use it.
Until i discovered the godly Light "Flanker" Tank. This was like last week lol so far my highest 0 death streak is 49 on Amiens Conquest. Im mainly a tanker now lol i love it.
I think the new french tank is also a good option, if u choose teh loadout, where u controle the front lmg. It has more armore and wins most fights against light tanks. The only downside is the missing emergency repair. For that u get a spotlight, wich spots all people in ur sight, some even behind cover.

the point of light tanks is to provide support fire for infintry and take out positions.
not meant for a frontal assult on an objective where atleast one of the 15 people there will have AT nades and know how to use em...
its just taking a sniper position in a tank thats more or less meant to take that sort of position.
Same way I use the howitzer loadout. It's an absolute beast. Highest score for me has been 65-0 though. Awesome video and tactics

I love your videos man !!! Nice high skill stuff. I started actually using vehicles in BF a few weeks ago, always played as infantry before. But in BF1 I really like the vehicles, especially the tanks are more fun than in BF4 and even I'm able to fly planes now (in BF4 I normally crashed jets all the time). The loadout in the video is my favourite one for the light tank, the machine gun just wrecks people on open maps. Have you actually tried out the loadout with the auto cannon? It seems a little bit to weak against armor to me and the light tank hasn't got the best armor either. Any tips for increasing the chances to survive with the light tank? I can play decent with the emergency repair and smoke but I admire how long you can survive. My best light tank streak of 36-0 seems embarassing comapred to your score here. Just awesome, keep it up.

SamLKQ man I love the close support light tank. But recently they've changed the canister shell to a mg so now I use you start great video. I thought my 50-2 game on suez was good... Boy was I wrong
Man, this guy was getting hate just for hiding & shooting? If anything, that helped his team advance. The same can be said for sniping as non-sniper classes in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2.

Maybe, I feel like I can spray for a longer time with the machine guns in tanks than in previous Battlefield games, so I think decreasing the extended fire length with 2 seconds and cutting down the cooldown with 0.5 second would be a good solution.

with a big tank alone
and won a game. around 50 kills and 0 deaths
and help the team. keep the checkpoints. N protecting them
but my gameplay. was smart
cause all the pro players were after me. close range. air with a plane. long range with a tank. and close range with tank bombs
so yeah. I killed the tanks. the planes. the people at checkpoints. the people coming at me. the snipers too

dude i was like bad at tank bad i decided to play with light tank yesterday and fucking hell, i just had 45 kills with no dead and it was one of the most enjoyable moments of bf1 for me
My personal favorite is the artillery truck the light tank is a close second.
I hate those. They take position on a hill. When you hit them, they just roll back, run and reapear, when full health. When you take your way up to the hill and throw your two anti tank and one light anti tank nade, they survive. So u gotta hit this last shot with the anti tank gun. That´s where they try to get you with their front lmg.

This is probably the best way to play the light tank: do not get cockey. When I'm in a tank (usually the landship), I just drill though enemy defenses, opening up great opportunities for my team, but end up being killed in the process.
Both styles can work with proper support from the teammates, I recommend asking players to help you out by using the repair wrench that is available to the support class.
I get messages all the time calling me a bitch for standing back using the tank. They expect you to just roll right up to their anti tank grenades. Hell no. I'mma sit back and pick em all off.

The light tank is a beast. I used the light Flanker tank on the desert operations and on two of the maps I got 95-0 and 98-0 I'm very annoyed
i only use light flanker tank for those times when i use little tank, many times i have challenge bigger tanks head to head battle and win ( its much faster than clumsy heavier tanks, so you can just keep driving around heavier tanks unless there is seriously many assault players )
I also got a 131 kill flawless gameplay, but that was the heavy tank. This one looks good, I'll try it....

CS:GO was my main game for a while and nowadays I still play it almost daily and next to that BF1 is like my secondary game together with Overwatch.

Yeah the Howitzer Light Tank is my go to tank and I play on the rotation with the St. Quentin Scar rotation every now and than, but I think it is the best for using the tank, a lot of open areas and ranges that are favorable to the tank.

Most active servers today will ban you for not being on the objective as a tank. It is unfortunate.

Only take the fights you think you will win, don't go in blindly and get people to repair you. If your team refuses to help you, than so be it :/

RIIKK T-T seems to be rather small indeed. It does spread though, but in a random pattern from what I can tell.

You are indeed helping your team by taking out enemy soldiers and tanks. However, especially in operations, tanks' focus should be on flags not the enemy soldiers. You see, the defending team has infinite respawns, so it doesnt really help much if you only kill the enemy soldiers and not do anything about the flags. A soldier you killed will respawn in about 15 seconds around the same place he died. In this sense, heavy tanks are actually useful for pushing the enemy away from the flags by brute force and help capture flags. Your team had only about 15 tickets when you finished the game, a very dangerous point. It could have been a lot smoother if you had a heavy tank and/or focused on capturing flags.

He’s supporting with a smaller, less vulnerable, more maneuverable, and faster tank. Rushing the objective will just get him killed
while I do agree that you helped your team a lot, I do think these machines are op. not in the fact that they kill easily(if you get hit by a tank, I don't think your chances of survival are high), but in the fact that it has unlimited bullets. to my knowledge, tanks don't have unlimited bullets.
Michael Perez neither do medics have an infinite supply of whatever they inject you with or medkits, nor do soldiers carry ammo boxes (effectively infinite ammo). If you're going to complain about infinite ammo in a video game, complain about all of it, not just for the vehicles.

While it is true a player with mouse and keyboard can be more precise, there is one difference - aim assist, that is obviously something PC players don't have.
The game is fun on both platforms. I remember that I had no problems to aim with the given aim assist on console, when I used to play bf3 tanks. For bf1 I chose the PC and i realy like the mouse and keyboard better.
SamLKQ Aim assist isn't that helpful. Me and my friends play on PS4 and we actually do better without aim assist.

the reason tanks can do this is because most people don't try I can easily kill it myself long ranged anti tank gun and anti tank grenades. the problem is people don't try and are too busy sniping or fighting I always spawn in as assault if I see a tank I am most of the time on my own killing tanks on console for me. as you can see here noone really trys here...

Actually you didnt deserve to win with this kind of performance, battelied is about teamplay and putting pressure onto the enemies what you almost didnt. I hate players like you just sitting in the tank back from the front and shooting just players because you dont contribute in taking the points, which is a team effort and has espacially supported by the tanks in operations.
You only won because your teammates managed to capture the points, and thats the truth.
Yeah, you were good at killing and your aim was on point, but i think putting pressure on the objectives of the map with a heavy tank and all seats full contributes way more than staying back and being the sniper in the tank.
Thats my opinion, you can either like it or hate it, but i think its true.

This guy is getting alot of hate by other players but he is just using what the game gave him. It's like those people who use the same move in fighting games, there are ways to counter but no one did. Personally i'd go Tank Buster on him if all my Team mates were getting mashed up. No one else has the right to tell him 'how' to play something he paid for though.
I disagree with you as I stated in the description I definitely did pressure the objectives, you can clearly see, I am regularly taking down players who are trying to eliminate my teammates crossing to the objective and later on I am taking down a lot of players of them who are trying to make their way to the objective, I don't really understand what you expect me to do. A tank is a tank, in games like Battlefield it can be effective in many different ways, but if I were to go onto the middle of an objective in a 64-player server of Grand Operations I would be taken down and more enemies could flood the objective. There are a few times where I expect to be flooded by assaults so I move back, make sure I am somewhat save and try to work my way back to a point where I can oversee people who are trying to go to the objective.
you're a moron, it's a fking tank, and one should use it to best help, by mowing down the enemy and keeping them from advancing is helping. It would not do any good for the tank to sit in the open and just get taken out fast, don't be a hater just because you suck at the game.
