PS5 does 4k 120 fps but the problem is some games can do 120 fps, like uncharted. while games like Star Wars battle front only plays in 60 fps, On the series X the same game can play to 120 fps.
All new games have no soul. Graphical elements are not very important: reflections, shadows, frame rate, etc. The game is supposed to be fun and adventure, but it seems that Sony forgot about it. Unfortunately.... Today we don't want remasters or remakes, we just want new games that we`ll love. Which will make it not about graphics that matter, but about adventure, fun, and the pleasure of playing....

The PS5 pro has more compute units in the GPU, more Ray Tracing capability, etc. I don't care too much about what the box says in regards to 4k/8k whatever. We know what the PS5 can do, now just need more side by sides to see how PS5 Pro performs when games get their pro patches. I care about what the end results show, not what the marketing on the box says. I'll be keeping my eye on places like Digital Foundry to show all the details side by side. In the end, I want the best experience at launch for the PS exclusive games, and that is the PS5 pro, it's expensive, but it's the only option to play those games at launch, at their best. I don't have the patience to wait for them on PC 1 or 2 years later.

All consoles should have been series s tier in terms of performance. Microsoft and Sony should have never tried to make 4k capable consoles. And should have rided series s tier consoles till the end of this gen. Then bump up to Xbox series x and ps5 next gen. And after than move up to ps5 pro/ps6 whatever. The normal console upgrade cycle would have lasted another 30 years if they weren’t spec chasing.and prices wouldn’t be insane. Honestly I can only see pc eating up the console market at this point.
The PS4 , Xbox One and now the Xbox Series S are awful consoles relative to PCs even at launch . I feel that what you're suggesting would barely qualify as a generational uplift over the PS4 Pro tbh - we're talking about GTX 1070 performance or thereabouts which has existed for 8 years on PC. It would mean the games would need to be far more optimised , so I'll give you that - but such weak consoles would bomb hard IMO. Only Nintendo can get away with such anaemic hardware by having a completely exclusive game library (with some good titmes).

@@oo--7714I understand now where you are coming from - in that case a Series S would be a good upgrade from a base Xbox One. The only thing I'd say is that 4k TVs are commonplace now and would it be a good experience to have to run them in 1080p to game with and not even get 60fps even with substantial upscaling (or integer scaling). Then again if consoles were limited in power I think the vast vast majority of games would be still in Unreal Engine 4 as UE5 would not run at all.

when i look at that hogwarts gameplay compared to Spiderman you can clearly see, that it was the 40 FPS mode and they said we will see Raytracing. so basically you have to pay 800€ to see Raytracing in Hogwarts with 40 FPS instead of 30 FPS + more contrast? WTF

PS5 Fidelity mode 30 fps = PS5 Pro 60 fps normal mode. Pro have 3 graphic mods but we dont know about that yet. Maybe 120fps mode, maybe 30fps better rt mod.
I hope for this third option too. For cinematic games, I prefer a lower frame rate... higher ones make me lose the movie-like effect that helps me immerse better.

For what it looks like, the ps5 pro improves ray tracing or resolution/framer rate. Spider-Man has definitely sharper reflections and it looks like it’s using rt AO, Hoghwards is using RT shadows. But these are minimal improvements that does NOT in any way justify the price. Edit: I just noticed hoghwards does use rt in both the pro and normal, it’s just a bit sharper. 800€ it’s insane for this little improvement
A ver, diferencias gráficas hay solo que muy mínimas. Por ejemplo 3:30 dónde los árboles del fondo se ven más detallados dónde la versión base se ve de muy textura simple y en 3:40 dónde el reflejo en el edificio derecho se ve los reflejos más claros. Pero como digo, no son tan grandes.
@@WERV2003las diferencias gráficas van ser las mismas que las de ps4 a ps4 pro, quizás un poco más entre ps5 a ps5 pro por la IA de reescalado pero nada más, los juegos van seguir desarrollándose desde la ps5 base como paso ps4, luego mediante parches añadirán el extra de potencia a la ps5 pro. Pero desde luego 800€ sin lector no lo vale, creo que debería de haber salido entre 500-600€ con lector pero claro todavía siguen vendiendo la ps5 a 500 y pico pues el futuro pinta negro.

Graphics are very similar, only improvment I see is frame rate boosting and minor reflection enchament. contrast looks darker but Sony probably colour corrected for more of a cinematic vibe. Not sure what to think about this honestly 😢

PS5 PRO can show more colors at the same time, just it! The colors pallet is full and vivid, showing all natural colors of objects with lots of contrast, but in PS5 has a limitation so colors are more similar one to another and fewer wich results in a mate finish in the end. BUT In the end, the emotional experience is about the same.
I know there will be great improvements on the Pro, but as a PS5 owner I can say that this comparison didn't move the needle one bit for me. Mostly just a contrast difference. it also depends on how lazy/eager the developers are to make use of the Pro. The bult-in Ai improvements will be interesting to see though. But I'm pretty sure I'll keep my PS5 and jump directly to PS6 instead.

In 1:39 you see what the pro can do : Raytraycing. The reflections in the back is a huge difference. At 60 fps. Overall the performance mode looks washed out. With HDR on an oled, the picture will make a big difference. Is it worth 800 Euro. Hmm you decide.

At 3:15 You can clearly see that you are losing a lot of detail with the base PS5. The overall picture is very blurry on the base PS5. It's as if you are wearing wrong glasses, that's how the base PS5 looks in this comparison.
Compare to PS5 for PS5Pro Price I would expect Fidelity 120fps Native 1440p and 120fps Native 4K Balanced modes. At this price there is no place for 30fps or even 60fps performance mode. Really...

For what it looks like, the ps5 pro improves ray tracing or resolution/framer rate.
Spider-Man has definitely sharper reflections and it looks like it’s using rt AO, Hoghwards is using RT shadows. But these are minimal improvements that does NOT in any way justify the price.
Edit: I just noticed hoghwards does use rt in both the pro and normal, it’s just a bit sharper. 800€ it’s insane for this little improvement

La única diferencia es el contraste más elevado en ps5 pro pero graficamente no hay diferencia y no vale la pena pagar 450 dolares más por eso.
A ver, diferencias gráficas hay solo que muy mínimas.
Por ejemplo 3:30 dónde los árboles del fondo se ven más detallados dónde la versión base se ve de muy textura simple y en 3:40 dónde el reflejo en el edificio derecho se ve los reflejos más claros.
Pero como digo, no son tan grandes.

@@WERV2003las diferencias gráficas van ser las mismas que las de ps4 a ps4 pro, quizás un poco más entre ps5 a ps5 pro por la IA de reescalado pero nada más, los juegos van seguir desarrollándose desde la ps5 base como paso ps4, luego mediante parches añadirán el extra de potencia a la ps5 pro. Pero desde luego 800€ sin lector no lo vale, creo que debería de haber salido entre 500-600€ con lector pero claro todavía siguen vendiendo la ps5 a 500 y pico pues el futuro pinta negro.

ps5 pro looks like it has motion blur turned off on some of those videos (e.g. spiderman 2). it's not really a great comparison

Graphics are very similar, only improvment I see is frame rate boosting and minor reflection enchament. contrast looks darker but Sony probably colour corrected for more of a cinematic vibe. Not sure what to think about this honestly 😢

More 40% performance than PS5. + 4K 60 FPS with RT mode like RTX 4090 + 8K 30 FPS on Fidelity mode.
PS5 PRO can show more colors at the same time, just it! The colors pallet is full and vivid, showing all natural colors of objects with lots of contrast, but in PS5 has a limitation so colors are more similar one to another and fewer wich results in a mate finish in the end. BUT In the end, the emotional experience is about the same.
So they just made it darker? I don't get it.
I know there will be great improvements on the Pro, but as a PS5 owner I can say that this comparison didn't move the needle one bit for me. Mostly just a contrast difference. it also depends on how lazy/eager the developers are to make use of the Pro. The bult-in Ai improvements will be interesting to see though. But I'm pretty sure I'll keep my PS5 and jump directly to PS6 instead.

At 3:15 You can clearly see that you are losing a lot of detail with the base PS5. The overall picture is very blurry on the base PS5. It's as if you are wearing wrong glasses, that's how the base PS5 looks in this comparison.
