Just made my own pendulum and did a pour of 5 colors. I was not happy, that could just be me, but maybe I need some practice also. I really like spinning acrylics on my house fan that is converted to spin canvases. I’m 70 years old and am enjoying what I do. I saw something that wasn’t being done and went wild with it. I do 2-3 spins a day plus other forms of acrylic pours, etc. Thanks for your input.
Definitely a great idea 😂Our studio spaces have seen worse spills than that, but if you create this painting at home make sure to protect your floor! Thankfully acrylic paint is easy to clean 😁🙌
Note that there is a wobble the first few orbits . You can cover the painting with card board or banner paper to protect the painting the first 3 or four orbits. You can then pull away the protective cover of the card board or banner paper. If possible have a person on each side/ corner. Pull the card board / paper off quickly. This protects the painting from recieving the ugly wobbles and tiny errors. The painting will have only perfect orbit lines.
You have picked my interests. Within the next few days I will create my own pendulum and try a multicolor of I have no idea but acrylic. Thanks for the info and reply.
You shouldn't have applied many forces to the pendulum (pushed it once in a while) . You just have to give it an initial force (push) at the very beginning and just let it be, let it move by its own. Try it next time so you can get more coherent strokes and see the natural beauty of physics and gravity.
It's been a couple of time, i'm looking at you're paint and the way you doing it...i learn a lot from you...you are full of energy and hilarious... the way you moved and explain how to paint we can see the love in your art...so just thank you for sharing your love...you are great 👍!!!
Hi Johanne, thank you for your kind words! We're glad you've been enjoying the tutorials and we hope they have inspired you to try out a few of the projects. All the best!
Hi Tyler, thanks for your question! We only create our artworks for lessons and don't have any for sale, but you could follow along and create your own :)
Hi Bruce, the background of this artwork was created using three colours, but they were blended directly onto the canvas. The pendulum itself contained our Dimension Acrylic Titanium White paint and a pouring medium recipe we provided with our lesson How to Create Fluid Art th-cam.com/video/K3vGJEOELq4/w-d-xo.html. Hope this helps!
Hi Lony, thanks for your question! We have stockists all around the world. If you'd like to private message us your location on Facebook, we can find out if there are any stores nearby.
Mont Marte Art I really read did lol!!!! I thought okay maybe I have it to FAR away from the canvas?? I thinned it out, then thought my hole wasn’t big enough like 🤷🏻♀️ it’s driving me CRA
@@twistedsi33 it could only really be 2 things - the paint flow or the size of the hole in your bottle. If you experiment with both of these things, we hope you'll find a solution :)
I love this painting before the pendulum

Hello Joe... awesome creativity, science and painting!
You reconcile me with the abstract art 😊
Do i have to get a beret to do Art
Hi do you guys sell your art supplies in Canada? Like in a shop?
I'm too impatient so I'm going to tie it to my ceiling fan and turn it on for faster results.
Now that’s funny!
I really hope you did and got video!!! 🤣🤣🤣
I love this idea hahaha
Oh your so going to have a mess lol
What Color will be your walls
can you draw a vertical pendulum?🤔🤔
Hi there, thanks for your suggestion! We'll pass that onto our in-house artist, Joe 😊
Is the base coat dried before apply the rest?
Hi Kevin, yes, but since it's acrylic paint it should dry fairly quickly :)
Mont Marte Art thank you! I wanted to try something similar to this and wanted to make sure
Do you have any paintings like these for sale?
Hi Tyler, thanks for your question! We only create our artworks for lessons and don't have any for sale, but you could follow along and create your own :)
Ok, thanks
Wowwww how cool😍
Amazing!!!!
Have you used a bottle of mixed color with a pendulum

You gotta love gravity!😁👍Thanx! I've always wondered if that would work!
Love it.. excilent
Can someone tell me What paint is that? Oil?
Hi there, you can create this one using acrylic paints and flow medium :)
That's crazy awesome
Do you make the paint watery?
Hi Zack, we used 2 parts flow medium, 2 parts Dimension acrylic paint and 1 part water to help it flow.
@@MontMarteArt Hi, would that be e.g. 100 ml flow, 100 ml paint and 50 ml water?
Hi @@gerritkoelewijn7559 yes :)
the background i mean the board made it look it amazing xd
How much is 1 part?
Hi there, for this project the measurements were 405ml of PVA, 135ml Acrylic Gloss
Medium and 203ml of cold water :)
This was mesmerizing
Why are u touching the object ?? Dont touch .
Well you f’d that one up by pushing it again after it had already started.
What is the beautiful music playing during the time the pendulum is swinging? Thanks, so beautiful and fun!
Hi Kim, we get most of our music from a stock website, so it'll probably be a bit tricky for you to find. Sorry we can't be more helpful!
where i can to buy that paint
Hi Lony, thanks for your question! We have stockists all around the world. If you'd like to private message us your location on Facebook, we can find out if there are any stores nearby.
Ok come in to facebook
Love the art... But the poor floor... Hope it can get clean
Don't worry Casey it actually scrubbed up quite good! :) The Mont Marte Team
Me too I was thinking that floor! Plus studio is sooooo clean
Good! Glad it cleaned up good!
canvas size?
Hi Lony, we've used a 121.8x182.8cm Double Thick Canvas for this project.
Mine does NOT come out fine more like BLOPS!!!!
Hi Lindsay, sorry to hear! Did you use the same recipe and give it a good shake?
Mont Marte Art I really read did lol!!!! I thought okay maybe I have it to FAR away from the canvas?? I thinned it out, then thought my hole wasn’t big enough like 🤷🏻♀️ it’s driving me CRA

solstice equinoxe ...
you ruined it because you kept pushing the bottle after you let it go. It shows in the loss of symmetry.
Thanks for your feedback, Roger :)
