The ingredients for the drink is 1 tablespoon organic lemon, 1 tablespoon organic vinegar, 1 teaspoon ginger, 1 teaspoon turmeric. Couple teaspoons of honey or to the sweetness that you prefer. Fill quart jar with water. Mix and enjoy!

Thanks for sharing, I am going to get ingredients and try soon. I love healthy drinks, especially to help the immune system. Please share your green drink. I heard you speak of it on the Covid talk. You are a beautiful lady spiritually and physical. God shines through you. You are also right about eating, I often feel after eating something not so healthy that it is not good for me and feel bad. We can eat and do it in moderation. It is nice to hear you share your feelings. I really needed to hear that. GOD BLESS YOU ♡♡♡Linda Winters♡♡♡

Great recipe I use this too but never did the apple cider vinegar. I will start adding that. Great idea. Also tumeric needs black pepper to be absorbed by the body. I just use a sprinkle you can't taste it 😊

We use the needles from our white pine as mulch…inexpensive and pretty!
I collect the cones, sprinkle them with cinnamon oil and put them in bowls around the house. Every now and then we will throw a bunch into our wood burner. I also keep a supply in the garage and spread them. with peanut better and seed and hang them outside for the birds.

I have been drinking warm lemon water in the mornings for years. Then I learned to take organic whole lemons, clean them leaving the skin on and put them in the freezer. I grate one of the frozen lemons (maybe a 1/4 or so) then add my warm water. Actually the lemon peel has more nutrients then the lemon itself. Thank you for the suggestion of organic vinegar; I shall begin adding it tomorrow.

Pricilla, I don’t know if you have ever did this or not. You can put pine cones in the oven on 250 until you see the pine rosin appearing really well on the cones. Be sure and put the cones on parchment paper before putting them on a cookie sheet. Watch them closely while in the oven because if they get too hot they can get Smokey. When these cones cool they are beautiful and shiny. You can keep them in a container and use them year after year in any decorations that you desire.

Avalon you did a great job in helping your mother. Thank you.

Am from a medical background but love herbs too :
Sharing what I know but kindly search the benefits too:
      Cinnamon bark
Avocado seed powder/grate fresh seed, dry it. Pan dry fry it. Make a powder. I use a grinder
      Watermelon too is good.
Another herb is found here in tropics. It grows on avocado trees, has red flowers which are like pine needles though bigger. We dry the leaves and make a powder that is used as you would tealeaves

Enjoyed the video but it was good that you added the last part about not eating or drinking anything with a guilt conscience. I think we need to bless everything we eat and of course eat fast foods in moderation. About immunity I believe that the blood of the Lamb and the Word is sufficient to help us stand strong and keep anything at bay. But for those who want to also depend on nature they are free to without condemnation. Till they grow to the Best way - the way of the Cross. Blessings to you and your lovely family in Christ Jesus.

So glad to see this drink. I am going to try it as well. I have all the ingredients in my cabinet so no problem.
All the things it does for your health are many things that I would like especailly at my age.
Thank you Priscilla and girls for doing this new drink.........I will certainly enjoy trying it out.
I too hate to clean up pine straw as we called it in NC back when we lived there. Where we lived we were required to rake it once a week to keep it off the yard for safety reasons of fire etc. Grass didn't grow well under those pines and the pine straw was unending. Thank you for reminding me to be grateful I no longer have that chore. They are beautiful trees, but as you say the needles dropping are so very messy.
Love your videos and your family.......all so enduring and sweet. Glad the men folks are letting you girls have a couple days to be girls, and do girl things........sometimes I enjoy just a girls day with my daughters!
    Blessings

Does the drink have a name? It looks remarkleble similar to something that is a cold weather traditional Dutch drink. But we make it with only the lemonjuce and honey and hot water. Like you make for tea. It is verry good to get warm again and fight of colds. We call the drink Kwast.

In the south we use pine straw like mulch or chips. I grew up in Michigan also and now in the south. I think in order for the turmeric to be absorbed by the body it needs black pepper but I am not 100% sure but that is what I have always been told. I'm also from Michigan. I agree with what you said about winter there. I can't give up the Florida sun even though I miss a lot in Michigan. By the way, good job with the pine straw clean-up. It's so difficult to get that stuff picked up.

What a lovely person you are. It is spring here in Australia now but I’ll be writing this recipe for the drink in my recipe book and I will try it. Maybe more so coming up to autumn and winter next year. I’m really enjoying you TH-cam’s. Blessings Gail.

I blend something like this together except I use cinnamon instead of turmeric. Thank for sharing your recipe. I'll for sure try it. Do you drink your whole jar that day or just a glass?

    • @MontanaHaven
      @MontanaHaven  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Are usually just drink a glass full. And save the rest for the next day.

What a beautiful state you live in. I wish I could look out on that view ever day . I use to make my husband a drink very similar to yours when he was dealing with cancer. It is supposed to be good for you . I need to make it for myself and drink it every day . I always used everything organic for him .

I bought one of the small turmeric and ginger immunity boost shot size bottles at the store the other day. It was horrible! It took my breath away and I couldn't get the taste out of my mouth for hours, LOL. I'm going to try your recipe, hoping I can stomach it🤣😂😅
@Montana Haven if I don't have local honey available, do you have a recommendation for store-bought honey? Should I get raw honey? Thanks :-)

    • @MontanaHaven

Yes I would get raw honey!

I actually got it in Costco a year ago. I really like it because it’s so light weight.
