      @@AdamKlownzinger I hear that, but if that's the case.. Free Agency should've been like an episode of The Price is Right:
      Left Tackle.. c'mon down!
      Right Guard.. c'mon down!
      Would've made it a premium to get the hogs.
      + we still had Ricky and Ronnie to alleviate Ryan from the pressure to play off the wall out the gate!
      Just whiffed on the value of the pick for me.
      But I agree with you: build that o line.. and its happening again with Tua (poorly assembled offensive line).

    The NFL has changed a lot since 2008... Imagine a 1st round where the top 2 QBs are statuesque pocket passers, a bunch of RBs go off the board, and no WRs are taken. The emphasis on passing has truly changed the game.

    • @fortynights1513
      @fortynights1513 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Passing is obviously very important.
      I’d argue running games are still important, but individual running backs are seen as much less valuable because most teams probably don’t run them as many plays individually as they used to.
      I think we still might see a pocket passer here and there (after all Mac Jones was a mid first rounder), but mobility is something that is valued a lot more clearly.

    The Ravens first two picks of this draft laid the foundation for their Super Bowl-winning offense. Joe Flacco and Ray Rice. Flacco became a franchise QB right away despite being carried by the defense as a rookie. Rice didn't start until Year 3 because of Willis McGahee, but boy was he a beast in his prime. Its too bad that both of their careers took a downswing in different ways, but we don't have a 2nd ring without them.

You just need the Make-A-Wish kids, U.S. Marines and the season ticket holders calling picks and you wouldn’t know the difference 😂. It’s quiet. Most of the prospects are just highlight reels because they aren’t at the draft. It’s a lot more exciting now. And thank god they don’t spoil every pick anymore by saying it before Goodell does.

      Sedrick Ellis was a miss, Leodis McKelvin was a miss, Kenny Phillips was a hit, and Duane Brown was absolutely a home run and the best player in this 1st round.

    • @Danchise124
      @Danchise124 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @pbskids4000 I can definitely see Ellis being a miss for sure, he was injured often but when on the field he was effective, he was a tough one for me.
      - McKelvin played 8 years in the NFL, he wasn't a pro bowler, but stuck around Buffalo long enough in Buffalo to slightly squeeze out the hit, and not the eh.
      - Kenny Phillips was very talented, however had an injury riddled career, in which he played in only 3 full seasons, and missed a bunch of time. I came to the conclusion that he was an Eh, because of the talent when on the field.
      Duane Brown no doubt was a great player, with 5 pro bowls and 1 all-pro selection, however my criteria for home-run was a franchise changer. The position of left tackle and the teams he was on were borderline hit to home run for me. Matt Ryan was a 4x pro bowler, 2016 league MVP and 1x all-pro. CJ was a 3x pro bowler, 1x all pro, and 2009 OPOY. He was a top talent in the NFL.
      I appreciate the feedback!

      @Danchise124 ปีที่แล้ว

      @RCJFilms when thinking about Flacco, I did take into account his super bowl MVP, however he didn't make one pro bowl or lead the league in any statistical categories. Matt Ryan threw for 20,000 more yards...yes, Twenty Thousand. He also threw for over 100 more touchdowns. Flacco career high for TD's in a season is 27. With all that being said, he's a hit, not a home run.
      Thanks for the feedback!

      @@Danchise124 Flacco was better than Ryan. Flacco was invited to pro bowls but never went. Flacco was way better in the playoffs every time he was in it and going against far superior teams. I am delivering a sermon to you 🙏😊 please read
    Consistently Pray for forgiveness, guidance in a good (positive) direction, and for help against evil. Pray to be saved from hell (whatever that may be). Pray for your friends and your family too, it only takes a minute or so/less at a time to pray. Do it and your life will slowly get better, or maybe quickly. It probably just depends on you and the kind of person you are/have been. Don't wait until its too late and you have to suffer the consequences of built up bad karma from immoral acts/unrepented sins. Maybe together we can help make the world a better place by changing ourselves for the better, and changing things around us for the better.
    And addressing/thanking the CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, LORD GOD at the beginning and end of your prayers would be a good idea.
    Be my friend and I will pray for you, but I do not know how much help me doing so will give you. You should try to practice daily prayer yourself.
    I'm trying to help you get right with the LORD 🙏
    Amen.
    I have worded a short prayer for you to say if you are not sure what words to use, it may not be the best but here it is 😊
    '' CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, LORD GOD,
    Please forgive me and my friends and my family for our immoral acts, please help guide us in a positive direction and please help us against evil. Please save us from Hell and have mercy on our souls. Thank you for everything CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, LORD GOD. Amen. ''
    Please say this at least once a day for at least a month, do it longer if you want to and can 🙏
    You should prostrate yourself if you don't want to do spoken prayer, or do both 🙏😊 Please worship the LORD GOD and not any idol.
    Please put your hands together 🙏 bow your head and say this prayer:
    "CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, LORD GOD, please know that I worship you and not any idols. Thank you for everything CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, LORD GOD. Amen"
    Say ' Om Namah Shivaya ' or ' Om Namo Bhagavate Rudraya ' out loud or in your head 108 times, or try to do it 1008 times 😊 try to do it everyday if you want
    repeat this aloud for as long as you want to, try to do it for like an hour a day or say it in a prayer "Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner"
    You can also say this prayer once a day or repeat it aloud as many times as you would like to:
    "Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen."
    Thessalonians 5:16-18
    "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
    Philippians 4:6-7
    "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
    "O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You!" Repeat this aloud at least 3 times or as many as you want, do it everyday if you can
    I apologize for all the words 😊 I know how it may look
    If you can't remember the words to any prayer, pray the words as you read them
