It's curious... Every transformation video I see on the character is usually so messy. I wonder if Mospeada's creator had any idea his armor was so impossible to implement in real life...

Hey thanks Man! I had the original Mospeada bike and rider 30+ years ago (the one that sells for, like, $600 on E-Bay now) and it broke the first time I tried to transform it from armor back to motorcycle. I got the Lancer/Yellow Riobot one this week and I have been terrified to try and put it in armor mode but your video got me through it. It is now in armor mode, I will put it in my display case...and never touch it again.

After almost a year of having this figure today in these days of quarantine I dared to transform it for the first time, after all it was not so difficult it only took me like 1 hour 30 minutes xD
What I hated the most was that in mine several small parts and joints came out again and again, but finally it was perfect.

Dope video man. I live in Japan and got this on release day, tried to transform him, and it took me a good hour and a half. Instruction 16-17 made me so worried that I would break it. Thanks again.

Hey Kuma, great review! That guy is fiddly...I think there’s one more part to the transformation, you extend the boosters out from the wheel area by pulling on those fins that are so hard to flip out

"Powered exoskeleton" from 30 years before! From japanese animation. This is my favor!!!
It's not really a powered exoskeleton. None of the rider's body movements or strength are enhanced with power in any way, except the engine-boosted jumping.
LS consider is an add on to personal arsenal, and the bike really cool back in 30yrs
Also, the ideas of conformal Fuel Tank in F-16 and vector jet engine in F-22 are similar to the Macross (Valkyrie) in 1982.
Had the transforming model kit version of this back in the 80s and yeah, it was always extremely fiddly to transform. SO many loose pieces flopping around and just insane fit and placements. Seeing how it actually is ruins watching on TV because you look at the anime and just laugh at how simple they make it look. It's a mechanical disaster that just luckily looks good.
what i dont like is the missile launcher is too big that runs out for its proportion when it transforms to bike.it should be 40 percent smaller..other than that is - they redesign it - not following the anime - prefer Beagle/Toynami version.but fans will buy it no matter how because Mospeada is very limited when producing toys

Suppoooooosed to have been shipping out 05/04 but I sure haven't gotten a shipping notice yet. I'll definitely toss up a review once it comes in. More of an overview showing off the differences than anything in-depth since transformation is the same.
This was my first PO'ed toy...i think i'll just wait for reviews going forward...sigh

These are expensive but the finest Mospeada I have seen. If you go to HLJ.com they oft times have them on sale for like 140-150 US. Not a bad deal. I got the first toilet after they released and just PO'd Yellow Dancer.
Weird transformation. The bike turns into this string & wraps around Scott & boom, power suit.
I really wish I would have waited to read this until the morning. Now I've got to stop laughing before hitting the hay.

i love the beagle version(the closest anime resemble so far) because both legs fits nicely on foot pegs compare this version that a big turn off to me to see those legs .plus those ugly oversize hand missle.they designed prioriity in mind for the suit armor not the BIKE..BEAGLE pls resurrect!!
