Yeah. The most funny thing is that I had NEVER even known abour her existance and I used to live near Lapland in Oulu for a little while. Before x-factor uk I had absolutely not even a tip that we her. And at the same time we got all kinds of foreign permormers all the way ftom Aftrica!The Finns have shunned her propablu out of jealously of singing or her beauty. :). Finns are also very scared if somebody is getting too good. It belongs to the age old Lutherism that you are rather prayed to fall into sin if you even hint you are happy or for getting proud of your skills. So who knows - the national radio NEVER had her songs nor singings all day long like with Britney Spears or Michael Jackson. I never heard her not even ONCE! So blame the national Finnish Media. They all shunned her even though she had success in some competitions. Loads of Finns hear her the very first time after she succeeded into live shows in this X Factor UK16!!! It is forbidden to seek perfection in Finland. She is too good for Finland media! They rather send a group of handicapped old weird Finnish guys to Eurovision than Her! And you wonder why Finland Never really succeeds in Eurovision? The professionals Blocked her TWICE! The Finnish people all voted yes! But it did not matter. But NOW she is allowed to shine! It's an odd one isn't it. If she were British, a big label would have signed her up years ago. Her amazing voice aside, she is also a pretty good songwriter too. Because of xfactor, I went and listened to her albums on spotify. 'Blessed With Love' is such a good album and I don't know why it has taken her so long to make the move.
That's interesting HHH and I get the impression that she is quite sensitive and aware of all of that as well. She gave a press interview here about bullying. Well we love all kinds of eccentricity in the UK, and if Finland can't appreciate her, we certainly will. The UK is a major player in the world of music - and Finland isn't and never will be if it supresses raw talent like that.

To be honest, after all this success she's had, I don't know what prompted her to audition and compete on the X-Factor. That show has not done her any justice at all, what with Sharon as her mentor, making her dance around on stage to horribly-chosen songs as if her voice isn't enough to get her through the competition. In fact, that literally is the whole mentality of the show: if you're gonna be a star, you have to be an entertainer, and singing talent doesn't cut it. Well, according to their standards, Saara falls out of that "star" category, as her dancing and "entertainment" hinder her singing abilities during each performance. But I see this video, and I know that she IS a star. She IS Anna from Frozen. She HAS sung with famous people on stage. She HAS competed on The Voice and Eurovision. In the long run, she is much more talented and knowledgeable than what X-Factor makes her out to be. And she's not ashamed of that. I wish I could say I'm rooting for her in the upcoming competition weeks of the show, but I can't. Because I can't respect the show and its underlying message. I just don't want her to be famous for the wrong reasons, and that's why, regardless of whether or not she wins, I'm going to be supportive of her career. Keep on going, Saara!
