The teddy thing seems sweet. My guess is that her friends and family wrote the notes, put them in the teddy and gifted her the teddy before she went to america. She never found the notes, eventually came back to australia and gave away the teddy. That seems like the most likely explanation imo.
It reminds me of when I broke up with a boyfriend and got a box of my things back that I’d left at his place. He’d tucked a bunch of sad little notes and poems into random pockets and such, there was one pinned to my favorite plushy. I kept finding them for quite awhile.

True, I made a series of weird videos for a university project in 2017 on a random channel: th-cam.com/channels/17Ex1EmghvNnrAGHlI2MlQ.html it's so bad tho lol
@@gopherasoda2492 im thinking its likely that one spongebob episode that had a similar song in it. atleast i instantly thought about that song from spongebob (i think the first episode?)
it's a bit too on-the-nose and cliche for the genre, but it's still a classic set-up. the video was pretty creepy and uniquely authentic though. less of the set-up, more of the style.
the main problem is you don't know what could be own them you could brick you system putting a random sd card into it or have you identity stolen. if you just open up and run everything or if for some dumbass reason you have autorun enabled
The teddy thing seems like a very spontaneous idea someone had. It sounds odd but, ever since I was very young, i've had the idea to hide papers with random drawings or messages inside stuff in the hope that in 20, 50 years or so, someone happens to open one and be absolutely mind boggled there's a message inside an N64 cartridge or a random plush toy. Imagining their confused face seems hillarious to me even tho the chances of that happening and me seeing it are pretty much zero. People sometimes just do stuff like that for no reason.
i think the notes inside things is normal. my family like to hide little notes for eachother in like suitcases or bags when we go to different places (started as like notes in packed lunch or school bags before big school days, and now has become a bigger thing), even though we’ve never put them inside teddies i think it’s a cute little thing, i know people leave notes in books sometimes too.
i did that once! i was staying in a cabin when i was around seven years old and i decided to leave a note for future visitors. i cant remember much about the note itself, though.

I've had the urge to do this for most of my life as well, like inside game cartridges, electronics, etc. Also similarly wanted to leave a message in a bottle in a forest near my house, maybe create like a little scavenger hunt for whoever finds it, leading to a small prize or something
oh man... the SD card channel sounds like a really cool vehicle for a "found footage" type ARG. what a premise. minding your own business, deciding to go to a thrift shop and finding some random SD cards or something, then getting dragged into some kind of crazy situation you were not supposed to be in! that sounds cool to me. also, sounds like a lot of fun to just do as a hobby to find old pics and videos like this.
as an avid thrift store guy i rarely, if ever, find technology as recent as sd cards at thrift stores. probably used blank vhs tapes or used blank dvd-rs if the curator wasn't paying attention, but this would seem more credible if they were found at an e-waste recycling center of some sort
The "corner" mentioned in 19:45 is actually written as コーナー, that is a false cognate. It reads as "corner" but actually means "segment" (of a tv show or program in general). Just in case someone might think it means something more.
I worked at the thrift store for a good chunk of time and whenever we would get SD cards on accident (we were told to deny them if we saw them trying to be donated but we can’t catch everything) we were told to destroy them because the company was concerned there would be illicit or illegal material on them, which probably wasn’t out of the realm of possibility. Once we got a safe donated, we picked the lock on it, and found a camera wrapped in a cloth inside, SD card and all. I think people underestimate how much weird stuff gets donated. We had sex toys, total power exchange contracts, miniature guillotines, mortuary and medical equipment, dolls with knives and ritualistic symbols on and in them, books on how to summon demons, and even urns. The teddy bear doesn’t shock me one bit.
Maybe Manon dropped the cartridge somewhere OP and their sister visited and someone picked it up and put it inside its box assuming it was OPs cartridge
So Manon seems to be a popular (top 50?) name in France and Belgium. But unless we know where OP found the game we can't say how much of a coincidence it is. Manon is apparently a diminutive name for Marie, so it could be a nickname. If OP is from the states it might even be the same person. We don't know how far they went on holiday or if they even left their state. What seems more likely is that the data somehow got transferred to her mii plaza and then finally ended up there due to a glitch of some kind.

I feel like the teddy with the notes is exactly that: a bunch of people hid notes within the teddy bear with the idea that she would bring it with her to the US, then she would find them once there... but then Rose donated the bear without mentioning it to anyone so then never found them (or someone asked her if she found them, and she realized in horror what she'd done). Hoping that maybe Rose and those notes can get back to her... "What Do You Want From Me" sounds like a typical '80s generic movie pop song. I can almost see this taking place over a montage, lol
alternative theory for the eye video is he's blind and is in the process of getting fake eyes put in. Because his other socket looks empty when the video drifts away, and it probably drifts like that because he cant see what he's doing plus that would explain the unnatrual coloration but the fact it still has depth
22:45 Cant believe that I my little rambling message that I was so sure would go ignored because of my habit of talking in circles, and unable to edit things would actually work. This is extremely exciting for me, especially since this is my first ever attempt to find lost media. And its just . . . so weird yet exhilarating to see my efforts being recognized. Thanks for everything, this might be the boost this case needs to focus more light on it!!!
About the What do you want from me song... WHY DOES LOST SONGS SOUND SOOO GOOD?! We had enough with Like the wind and EKT... Now another banger just came out :')
The "Dance for hours" song is awesome too. It's funny to me that people are so amazed at not being able to find a clearly old band. People made crappy little tapes in the 80s and 90s all the time. Literally like 50 copies or less, just trying to generate buzz. They give up. Somebody finds it in their dad's basement 30 years later
As far as the Tomodachi Life story goes, my guess is this Manon person is probably a friend of a friend or family member, someone they might pass from time to time but never meet. They obviously play Tomodachi Life a lot since they were still playing it 5 years later, so perhaps they left it somewhere and OP's parents just grabbed it and put it in the game box. Then once they lost it they just bought a new copy.
i wear colored contacts and i don’t think that’s what they are. if they were colored contacts, you’d be able to see his normal eye color near his pupil (bc he was in direct sunlight and the pupil area of colored contacts doesn’t change size), you might be able to see his normal eye color underneath the colored contacts (again, he’s in direct sunlight and at times it seems like you can see through his iris), and you’d be able to see the outside borders of the contact (they’re transparent but you can easily see them if you look close enough)
Here is what I think about the Burger/Mushroom video; it could have been a bumper, ident, or eyecatch. It is somewhat common for TV channels in Japan to have interesting and unusual eyecatches (my favorite one is a JOCX-TV eyecatch with a sentient TV robot on two legs, that one can be easily found though). Just putting this theory out there :P
@@oknovembertypically its referred to as アイキャッチ or just regular gairaigo for "eyecatch" so im fairly sure Twitter auto translate would have output eyecatcher
for anyone that wanted to know "dance for ours a day" is the song funky - royal treatment plant, the full song hasn't been discovered but the snippet is actually very good!
Definitely a case of mental illness. Why would he be whispering this about contacts? It seems he's afraid of someone overhearing him. He probably thinks he has a parasite in his eyes (I know I was afraid after seeing a discovery show about parasites) or something along those lines
@@atlas4802These are valid theories but I could also just see it being a guy trying to act funny . Considering the camera was sold at thrift shop, he could’ve just thought it might be funny for someone to find a weird video like that on the camera
The tomodachi life story is super odd to me, my only guess as to how a 2nd cartridge just appeared is maybe manon left it behind or dropped it somewhere. And maybe op mustve just thought they dropped it and picked it up. My only guess as to the streetpass is that it was just a coincidence and they somehow streetpassed them at some point a year ago, and at that point the manon person probably just got a new tomodachi life cartridge after realizing they lost thier old one.
What's up with these lost songs always being bangers? Love the second one in this video. Also I laughed at the Jerma jumping mock up lol. Great work! I'm always excited about videos from you dude.
The notes inside the teddy bear has made me so damn emotional not gonna lie. Someone confessing their true feelings to someone else and those feelings haven't even reached to the target. It's a dead opportunity, and the thought of that person moving on without ever learning someone's true feelings for them... Man it sucks so bad. I sincerely hope whoever those people are have reunited.
19:43 NHK has a huge library of old animations and shorts that they use to fill time in their children's programming. Some of them are a little bit bizarre, but they are all just made to make children smile in the mornings before going to school. It's cool to see them showing these older shorts that probably just sit in their film libraries otherwise. If you look at a written description of clock man it sounds kind of horrific but when you actually see the short you can see it's just a kid's program. Compared to general Japanese TV, which is mostly about people eating ramen, Japanese kids programming is pretty creative and interesting.
regarding the "they're in my eyes" thing - the guy is most definitely not wearing coloured contacts, since the pigment is printed onto the surface of the lens and here you can see through the iris - it has depth, this does not happen with coloured lenses. also doubt he's wearing regular contacts for eyesight - when wearing those, despite them being transparent you would still see a thin blue rim around the iris. i think even with the video quality being shitty we would still be able to notice it from this close up.
I have a lost jumpscare story of my own. Back when I was very young, in the pre-TH-cam days, my grandfather showed me a screamer website that had this weird demented weasel looking creature pop up. A few years later I swear I saw the same creature printed on a mug on my music teacher's desk with a URL for a website called "weaselcheese". It might not be the same thing, but I call it the "weasel cheese jumpscare" for that reason.
Cheese Weasel Logistics maybe? They're a board and card game company. Their logo does have a weasel with a bit of a creepy smile. Didn't see a jumpscare on their website, but maybe its in there somewhere.
I have a jumpscare image i can't find the origin of either. It was of a black guy who looked like EDP445 with his eyes bugged out and his mouth wide open. I saw it twice. Once on a screamer "Satan's face in 9/11 aftermath" fake video and another on a "CJ's mom's ghost" an andreas screamer video.
God I also have a jumpscare image I can't find the origin of!!! It was like. A cartoon nasty bird with scraggly hair sticking out with bugged out eyes and teeth in its mouth ! Video was something like "baby bird hatching...surprise"
being a kid in the late 2000s/early 2010s is why i have trust issues. i still get nervous about watching videos bc im worried about getting jump scared
"Kid Icarus Uprising for me of course, best game ever." Whether their Tomodachi Life story is true or not, I can definitely say that the OP has impeccable taste.
i love lost media. the sd card channel reminds me of when my uncle used to dig through dumpsters and find computers with random stuff on them. i remember one computer had a bunch of court documents of random cases. my thought was that computer belonged to a lawyer or something. and another computer had a bunch of videos of a guy singing country music and showing off his pet spider.
To me, it feels like the teddy thing is a coping mechanism. Kinda like writing letters to dead loved ones and sending it off on a helium balloon. It feels like something happened to her and they used it to feel better. Maybe that was an important Teddy to her? Maybe she just loved teddy bears.
That Tomodachi life story reminds me of something that happened to me. I got a gameboy advance when i was in 7th grade collecting retro stuff and I bought Minish Cap and Kirby and the amazing mirror. In freshman year I decided to give it to this girl I had a crush on (dont ask me why i forget the reason), but a year later i was cleaning my room and I found a copy of the minish cap in my stuff but I never got a second copy and there was no copy in the box of when i got that gba. Super creepy but i know it wasnt the same copy because it didnt have my save data. Its been like 5 years later and still no answers or anything
Opposite happened to me. When I was a kid, I brought my DS with me to visit a friend. She didn't own a DS, and I only brought it to pass the time traveling to and from her house. I get home, and the game (super mario 64 ds) was gone. I had no reason to lose it since it was in my DS, and my DS was in its case. I was so sad when I lost it, and to this day I have no idea where that game went.
The mock-up images at 20:35 are really cute, I hope the original video gets found. Seems like it was probably a bumper clip that would air before or after commercials.
When I heard the title of "notes found inside teddy bear", I thought it was going to be about the "Schuylkill Notes" - people keep finding insane conspiracy sprawlings inside sealed packages right around the town of Schuylkill in Pennsylvania. It's a super interesting phenomenon and I really would love to see a video on it.
That smash brothers brawl one made me stop for a second. Reminded me of an old jumpscare vid that got me years ago. I think it had a static image of pichu on final destination, and when you opened the video there was like pictures of french fries or something? Weird images then a jumpscare that looked like a scary version of an old painting. Something about unlocking characters in melee. Maybe related? I think that video made me scared to go back to the computer for like an hr lmao
That jumpscare thing made me remember my own personal story. I've never really tried looking for the video but if anyone remembers something similar let me know lol When I was a kid, I really liked Lazytown, and I basically searched on TH-cam everyday to find new videos on it. One day I watched a video that was like "Dance with Sportacus" or something like that and it asked the viewer to get up and dance. I remember it was basically just footage of the characters/Sportacus dancing. Then it asked the viewer to get up close for a surprise. Me, being the naive kid I was, literally put my face up to the screen and waited for the countdown to end. Obviously it was a jumpscare - from what I can remember it was probably footage of Billy the Puppet from the Saw series, but a video glitch just so happened to come up at the same time so it turned him into a crazy, distorted, purple pixely mess. I ended up jumping on our couch from fear and waking up my mum who was sleeping on it at the time lmao
I see a lot of people speculating that the song known as "Dance for Hours a Day" may just have been by some local band hired to be the entertainment at some dance club or something like that because of it having apparently been a live performance. If this is the case, identifying the song or finding a complete recording of it seems unlikely. However, this is not the only possible explanation for the live audience. This could be a snippet from a musical theater production. If that's the case, there may be a better chance that a full recording (of the song and possibly of the entire musical) may exist.
You never know, the right person is in the right place at the right time and they are like "Holy shit that's the band I was in back in the 90s!!!" Mystery instantly solved. There's a documentary called "A band called Death" that's essentially about exactly that. This totally unknown band that inadvertently invented punk 5 years early and were so ahead of their time nobody would sign them. And somebody stumbled on their album and was looking for them
Ooh wow! I live in Adelaide and am super passionate about this sort of thing, it was such an exciting surprise to see an Adelaide based mystery show up in one of these videos as we don't get spoken about much lol. Love your work!
Bummer about that "what do you want from me" song. It highkey bangs. Interesting video, glad it showed up in my recs. Love finding new channels that cover unsettling things!
a personal case of lost media of mine is a series of pikmin plush videos i watched when i was younger (it may have just been one video?). i found it in around 2014-2015 but given the video quality (if i'm remembering correctly) i think it was made between 2007 and 2012. the only vivid memory i have is that the title contained an ampersand (&) symbol, which i know because this was my first time seeing it as a kid and i had to ask my mom what it meant. it's such a niche topic that i don't think anyone will ever have any leads, but it's my personal lost media holy grail edit: some more details; -very poor camera (and likely audio) quality -i believe most of the series was recorded in a house -said house had a yellow-orange tint as far as i can recall, unclear on if it was due to the camera quality or the house's lights -one of the characters was a white pikmin -i believe it was made by a little kid -the title was something close to "red pikmin & friends" (potentially could have been something like "red pikmin & white pikmin"?" -i do not remember olimar being a character. it was just the pikmin
Hey ShaiiValley! There is a strange song called “Fish Heads” By - Barnes and Barnes, I watched it when I was around 6? It’s nearly 20 year old song and I have seen NOBODY talk about it!! If anyone else is curious please be prepared for the uncanny valley feeling you will have watching it 😬
My twin sister was more terrified of it than me, she would get sooooo upset if I were to sing the song as a kid, she would scream over my voice to drown me out 😂😅, I of course feel bad for doing it now!
Recently, I lost access to a beautiful fanart that an artist known as Pyohato created of a character named "Blaze" aka "Emily" from a game I made that was previously called "Anti Eye craft". The character has short blue hair, an orange spacesuit, and a white scarf. The creator of the art pretty much disappeared from the internet one day and my old backup drive is no longer accessible. It'd be great if you could track down the fanart. However, someone told me long ago that Pyohato doesn't want their art to be on the internet anymore so idk what's going on.
It's a stunning piece of artwork with a striking style which is also the reason why Emily (Blaze) has the white scarf in her current design. The fanart was created back when I was developing a point-and-click version of "Anti Eye Craft". The project ultimately was shelved though but you can find some of my old stuff by searching imgr. However, I never reuploaded Pyohato's fanart because they weren't around to give permission.
I would love to revisit the idea and art style of that point-and-click game someday. I am still proud of the sprites I made for it and I have some backed up currently. The current version of "Anti Eye Craft" now goes by the title "Eye Fly For You" on my itchio if anyone is interested in that.
However, it is a completely re-envisioned game. Oh! And the fanart that Pyohato made of Emily showed her standing firm with the scarf blowing in the breeze. She held her orange space helmet in her right arm and the look on her face could cut glass. Simply a beautiful work of art that is sadly missing in action.
Aw hell yeah, Brawl jumpscares. When I was a kid i got got by one really bad when I was looking up how to unlock master hand, and I couldnt sleep for a day or two after that.
Sweet Peach has uploaded 17k videos of possibly auto generated test videos. Meanwhile Niilo22 has uploaded 16k videos of... well, unscripted, unfiltered snippets of his life including all the screw ups and derp moments.
I think the thrift shop SD card channel is probably an attempt at one of those found footage horror channels not unlike Marble Hornets. I remember them being fairly popular the early 2010s which would have been when these were uploaded.
Ugh the last one is to frustrating! I’ve been on the internet since 2009, and I remember a video I found sometime between 2010-2013 called “Luigi goes to boarding school” it was clearly made by a child or teenager, as it utilizes several figures. Notable figures/plushies used: Luigi plush, Gumby figure, Mr. Pricklepants plush, some sort of popular clown figure from a children’s show, and I think the driving instructor was a prairie dog…also the build a bear red car plush I think? The channel name had “chowder” in it, and it had several jokes I still remember. They run over Gumby, Luigi sings an autotuned song saying “cambels chicken noodle soup, possibilities!” And another one saying “oohhh weee I’m a vegetarian ooohh yeaaa ohhh yaaa” and several jokes where he crashes the car. It was the funniest thing to my younger self and I still reference it with my siblings to this day, but we’ve never been able to find it. Finding this would finally satisfy my nearly decade long search.
There was a jumpscare video that scared me so bad as a kid it made me steer clear of jumpscares afterwards. And I can remember it so vividly, it may still even be on TH-cam but I gotta admit I’ve never tried looking for it. I’m pretty positive it was listed under TH-cam Poops, and it was of a clip from an episode of SpongeBob. All the video was, was the clip which had Patrick on a seahorse (or in a costume with a fake seahorse under him like he’s riding it) and the video said “Wait! Did you catch that? Look at Patrick’s horse thingy” and it zoomed up a couple times then showed a scary face with a scream. Not sure if anyone else remembers this video but that was my worst jumpscare experience at like 8-9 years old
sweet peach is unsettling to me because of the beeping. my spidey senses go off, without this, it just seems like a little world sweet peach has created. its so sweet and endearing to see this little world grow.
21:12 I’m currently shaking in bed, scared out of my boots, because of that one video in the beginning of this video (of some odd entity caught on camera on an SD Card from a Thrift Store), until I heard this. Thank you ShamiValley, thanks for talking about “Dance Floor Was His Name” or “Dance For Hours A Day”. I was hoping for someone to make a video about it, it’s one of my favourite sample-only lostwaves (or Lostwaves with short samples like Everyone Knows That with its 17 second sample) Somewhere In The Night or Snip Through The Brush or even Try To Smile Again should get more publicity though. Those are cool lostwaves too.
22:07 my dad had an old burnt CD from around 2003. I just asked I’m if he had it. He said he’d check. But I swear I’ve heard this song and I vividly remember this song or at least the clip being on thay cd
Since i haven't seen any comments on here about it yet i would like to put that the 'dance for hours' song has been found, just incase ya'll didn't know yet. Its called Funky by RTP (Royal Treatment Plant).
I’m sure it’s ultimately unrelated but the Sweet Peach channel reminds me a lot of David Tibet’s visual art. The vague faces among colorful abstract shapes look like some of his album art in particular.
I am a huge fan of this stuff and always seek it out BUT I always feel like ive seen it all and seen all there is to see. This channel however always gets me excited because of all the niche and interesting topics. Never shy away from a topic even if it seems mundane

The dance for hours may have been a local band in the original recorder's (whomever it was) region. It could have been a bar performance, a music store performance, or fair / battle of the bands event. Maybe the woman singing and her bandmates broke up shortly after due to life issues or creative differences. And to support one of my local metal/Punk bands.. *SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL TURBONER*
i remember this video years ago of a portrait of a woman and it would just be the same picture but it would slightly change as you continued watching. has anyone else remember this? im guessing it would be around 2009 to 2011
I’d love if you could do a video on the TVs in mcdonalds and the “McTV” network. There’s one specific song that would play that I really wanna hear again, it played specifically during arts and craft sections :)
I recognise the dance for hours song, it sounds like a song a support band played for a show I went to around 2017-2018, I'll try and find more details

As a fellow Aussie, do you remember an MMO/club penguin clone called the Koala Klub (I forgot if it was club or klub) that was advertised on the today show I think in 2008 or 2009? (possibly sunrise as well, but my family watched the today show in the morning) I vaguely remember it, the woman who created it didn't think club penguin was good or safe or something. She had some grievances with club penguin but koala klub was far more predatory with its monetisation. You couldn't wear clothes without it and most games were unavailable without it. I already had club penguin membership so I didn't ask my parents for koala klub memership too.
I was thinking maybe she put notes from loved ones in the teddy as a way to hug everyone she loved/lost?
Might be a tool for dealing with grief

Nobody in these videos ever considers the possibility that someone made something weird just to make something weird
*especially* if it’s from Reddit
True, I made a series of weird videos for a university project in 2017 on a random channel:

it's so bad tho lol
I always think that too! People have always done weird things, art, music, literacy - TH-cam videos are no exception to this role!
Suspension of disbelief I guess. It comes with the genre.

IT'S SUCH A GOOD SONG!!
Man that Thrift shop SD card channel is a great idea, somebody should actually commit to that.
Analog horror moment
it's a bit too on-the-nose and cliche for the genre, but it's still a classic set-up. the video was pretty creepy and uniquely authentic though. less of the set-up, more of the style.
Makes me want to do that

The teddy thing seems like a very spontaneous idea someone had. It sounds odd but, ever since I was very young, i've had the idea to hide papers with random drawings or messages inside stuff in the hope that in 20, 50 years or so, someone happens to open one and be absolutely mind boggled there's a message inside an N64 cartridge or a random plush toy. Imagining their confused face seems hillarious to me even tho the chances of that happening and me seeing it are pretty much zero.
People sometimes just do stuff like that for no reason.
i think the notes inside things is normal. my family like to hide little notes for eachother in like suitcases or bags when we go to different places (started as like notes in packed lunch or school bags before big school days, and now has become a bigger thing), even though we’ve never put them inside teddies i think it’s a cute little thing, i know people leave notes in books sometimes too.
i did that once! i was staying in a cabin when i was around seven years old and i decided to leave a note for future visitors. i cant remember much about the note itself, though.

oh man... the SD card channel sounds like a really cool vehicle for a "found footage" type ARG. what a premise. minding your own business, deciding to go to a thrift shop and finding some random SD cards or something, then getting dragged into some kind of crazy situation you were not supposed to be in! that sounds cool to me.
also, sounds like a lot of fun to just do as a hobby to find old pics and videos like this.
I've always enjoyed doing it with memory cards and ds/gameboy games
as an avid thrift store guy i rarely, if ever, find technology as recent as sd cards at thrift stores. probably used blank vhs tapes or used blank dvd-rs if the curator wasn't paying attention, but this would seem more credible if they were found at an e-waste recycling center of some sort
i want to do this now
My god, that Jerma popping in at 20:00 INSTANTLY eviscerated any sort of creepy atmosphere this video had. That's incredible.

The "corner" mentioned in 19:45 is actually written as コーナー, that is a false cognate. It reads as "corner" but actually means "segment" (of a tv show or program in general). Just in case someone might think it means something more.
well, technically, it would still be a cognate; there's just been a semantic shift
What was on that SD card you found in the safe? 👀

I love Tomodachi Life, so the story of Manon really stood out to me. I can't think of any real reason that would happen besides extreme coincidence.
yeah, at the beginning they said manon was a really common name so it would be a crazy coincidence but nothing more
I mean, that's what coincidence is... 😏

Hoping that maybe Rose and those notes can get back to her...

alternative theory for the eye video is he's blind and is in the process of getting fake eyes put in. The "Dance for hours" song is awesome too. It's funny to me that people are so amazed at not being able to find a clearly old band. People made crappy little tapes in the 80s and 90s all the time. The song “what do you want from me” has been found and it’s called “dont call it love” by Steve Kipner
Then once they lost it they just bought a new copy.
probably just a BS story
The paranoid dude worrying about entities in his eyes has beautiful green eyes.
Edit: I guess they may be colored contacts
i wear colored contacts and i don’t think that’s what they are. if they were colored contacts, you’d be able to see his normal eye color near his pupil (bc he was in direct sunlight and the pupil area of colored contacts doesn’t change size), you might be able to see his normal eye color underneath the colored contacts (again, he’s in direct sunlight and at times it seems like you can see through his iris), and you’d be able to see the outside borders of the contact (they’re transparent but you can easily see them if you look close enough)
The unknown song at 9:17 is by Steve Kipner - Don't Call It Love (1983). Enjoy!
Just putting this theory out there :P
spspsp
That seems like what the OP meant to say with “corners.” Probably a mistranslation or literal translation of what they call bumpers in Japanese
Definitely not contacts! The way the light is shining into and reflecting in his eyes isn’t something you’d get with contacts - they’re solid
thats what I was thinking! contacts aside, the breathing is very creepy. it possibly is a case of schizophrenia, a mental breakdown etc.
@@atlas4802i think it’s like schizophrenia, hallucinations or the boring reason which would just be it’s supposed to be creepy for no reason

That was my first thought when I heard it. It's a shame too! Would make an awesome arg premise if actually committed to.
How is it an arg? It just seems they're posting weird finds

Its probaly some sort of animation test
19:43 NHK has a huge library of old animations and shorts that they use to fill time in their children's programming. Some of them are a little bit bizarre, but they are all just made to make children smile in the mornings before going to school. It's cool to see them showing these older shorts that probably just sit in their film libraries otherwise.
If you look at a written description of clock man it sounds kind of horrific but when you actually see the short you can see it's just a kid's program.
Compared to general Japanese TV, which is mostly about people eating ramen, Japanese kids programming is pretty creative and interesting.
regarding the "they're in my eyes" thing - the guy is most definitely not wearing coloured contacts, since the pigment is printed onto the surface of the lens and here you can see through the iris - it has depth, this does not happen with coloured lenses.
also doubt he's wearing regular contacts for eyesight - when wearing those, despite them being transparent you would still see a thin blue rim around the iris. i think even with the video quality being shitty we would still be able to notice it from this close up.
thiftshop sdcards sounds like a failed arg. i wish they would continue it, i love stuff like this as a guy that collects used blank vhs tapes

@emperorpoto nah it wasn't like that, it was like a photo of some sort of snarling animal
Why is your username "cumbrap"
I have a jumpscare image i can't find the origin of either. It was of a black guy who looked like EDP445 with his eyes bugged out and his mouth wide open.
I saw it twice. Once on a screamer "Satan's face in 9/11 aftermath" fake video and another on a "CJ's mom's ghost" an andreas screamer video.
God I also have a jumpscare image I can't find the origin of!!! It was like. A cartoon nasty bird with scraggly hair sticking out with bugged out eyes and teeth in its mouth ! Video was something like "baby bird hatching...surprise"

i love lost media. the sd card channel reminds me of when my uncle used to dig through dumpsters and find computers with random stuff on them. i remember one computer had a bunch of court documents of random cases. my thought was that computer belonged to a lawyer or something. and another computer had a bunch of videos of a guy singing country music and showing off his pet spider.
The Manon story was a creepypasta posted on Reddit for a gaming creepypasta subreddit. It’s as shrimple as that.
To me, it feels like the teddy thing is a coping mechanism. Kinda like writing letters to dead loved ones and sending it off on a helium balloon. It feels like something happened to her and they used it to feel better. Maybe that was an important Teddy to her? Maybe she just loved teddy bears.
Bit of a stretch

Wow. Is this a recent thing that's been happening?

That smash brothers brawl one made me stop for a second. Reminded me of an old jumpscare vid that got me years ago. That jumpscare thing made me remember my own personal story. I've never really tried looking for the video but if anyone remembers something similar let me know lol
When I was a kid, I really liked Lazytown, and I basically searched on TH-cam everyday to find new videos on it.
"What do you want from me" is a banger, even though it's unknown what the full version sounds like and who made it.
Love your work!

a personal case of lost media of mine is a series of pikmin plush videos i watched when i was younger (it may have just been one video?). i found it in around 2014-2015 but given the video quality (if i'm remembering correctly) i think it was made between 2007 and 2012. the only vivid memory i have is that the title contained an ampersand (&) symbol, which i know because this was my first time seeing it as a kid and i had to ask my mom what it meant. it's such a niche topic that i don't think anyone will ever have any leads, but it's my personal lost media holy grail
edit: some more details;
-very poor camera (and likely audio) quality
-i believe most of the series was recorded in a house
-said house had a yellow-orange tint as far as i can recall, unclear on if it was due to the camera quality or the house's lights
-one of the characters was a white pikmin
-i believe it was made by a little kid
-the title was something close to "red pikmin & friends" (potentially could have been something like "red pikmin & white pikmin"?"
-i do not remember olimar being a character. it was just the pikmin
Could it have been by AllAboutMeep? I remember her making Pikmin videos at some point with (I think) her brother, but I’m not sure

@@jackpijjin4088 don't really remember much other than what i described in the comment unfortunately
Oh, it's a favourite of mine. The music video is trippy as well
my coworker plays this song everyday lmao
@HauntakuTV Hopefully, someone can find it! I'm sure there's something out there of it.
Can you give any details on where pyohato was most known aswell?
Crazy to see a massive channel before they got big. Don’t stop doing these! These are fantastic.
I honestly think the owner of the sd channel made the videos themselves on an old camera
No one scanned the bar codes? Could be a clue also in the UK we call them charity shops
I’m a big webdriver torso fan, huge fan of red rectangles work
Aw hell yeah, Brawl jumpscares.
Not sure if anyone else remembers this video but that was my worst jumpscare experience at like 8-9 years old
Dance for hours slaps so hard i hope someone finds the full version
sweet peach is unsettling to me because of the beeping. my spidey senses go off, without this, it just seems like a little world sweet peach has created. its so sweet and endearing to see this little world grow.
I was hoping for someone to make a video about it, it’s one of my favourite sample-only lostwaves (or Lostwaves with short samples like Everyone Knows That with its 17 second sample)
Somewhere In The Night or Snip Through The Brush or even Try To Smile Again should get more publicity though. Those are cool lostwaves too.
Sweet peach's videos feels like a khan academy creepypasta
fr tho
22:07 my dad had an old burnt CD from around 2003. I just asked I’m if he had it. He said he’d check. But I swear I’ve heard this song and I vividly remember this song or at least the clip being on thay cd
What Do You Want From Me has been solved, Steve Kipner - Dont Call It Love
Dance for Hours has also been solved. Royal Treatment Plant - Funkt
Thrift store finds: you get creepy unmarked tapes or a wholesome story about a teddy containing best wishes for a loved one
Excellent video as always! I love how you bring exposure to lost media cases that have flown under most people's radar!
19:38 The "corner" of the program just refers to a segment of the program. I think that's just the way they translate it.
18:30 I'm glad you said this, I was just going to say it sounds like at first he's just saying "These are my eyes"
8:56 I don't know how to explain that nyaa like noise that he made but it is funny..
Since i haven't seen any comments on here about it yet i would like to put that the 'dance for hours' song has been found, just incase ya'll didn't know yet. Its called Funky by RTP (Royal Treatment Plant).
"When I was a kid back in the early 2010s...." Gee, thanks for aging me 50 years lol
Funkyboy01: *uploads song* *refuses to elaborate*
r/WDYWFM A subreddit dedicated to the What Do You Want from Me song.
That song was really good and i hope the full version someday gets found.
Only Jesus Christ blood can cleanse us of are sins come to Jesus Christ today
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Come to Jesus Christ today
Jesus Christ is only way to heaven
Repent and follow him today seek his heart Jesus Christ can fill the emptiness he can fill the void.
The Holy Spirit can lead you guide and confort you through it all
Heaven and hell is real cone to the loving savior today
Today is the day of salvation tomorrow might be to late come to the loving savior today
John 3:16-21
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Mark 1.15
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Hebrews 11:6
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

The what do you want from me song kinda slaps even though It wasn't the whole song
I just had to watch 2, 3 minute ads with no skip buttons to get here, great video by the way, been binge watching this channel
ShaiiValley has blessed us once again!
*SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL TURBONER*
i remember this video years ago of a portrait of a woman and it would just be the same picture but it would slightly change as you continued watching. has anyone else remember this? im guessing it would be around 2009 to 2011
Bro you are on a role with these videos you are very quickly becoming my favorite lost media/internet mysteries TH-camr
You're good at making videos. Nice editing and music.
the craziest things about lost songs that go viral is nobody claiming credit for them
the sound of the first video reminded me of close encounters
fzfzfzfzfz
dance for hours sounds like a real good song
I’d love if you could do a video on the TVs in mcdonalds and the “McTV” network. There’s one specific song that would play that I really wanna hear again, it played specifically during arts and craft sections :)
Aww the teddy one kinda made me sad
Yeah, it's one of those ones that feels real enough to relate to.
I remember a lost jumpscare video from my childhood also, it was called something like "GTA 4 secret monster truck location" I can't find it anymore
I recognise the dance for hours song, it sounds like a song a support band played for a show I went to around 2017-2018, I'll try and find more details
The clips from 2007
Sweet Peach might be owned by some elementary school teaching how to video edit to kids, and they just end up uploading all of them to the same channel
