Yes Porter can since he is mature physically and developing like macklin did last year. James is Clayton Keller clone which works in the new nhl but a few guys will have breakout out years. James is great when I saw him live with Cole eiserman but you could see people will catch him as they develop.
Hagens is way better than keller and the thing that stands out is that hagens skating is way better than keller. Hagens is more like a hughes than keller. Being physically mature right now isn't exactly good since a lot of martones success comes from him being physically stronger and bigger than other guys in the ohl. How will martone do when he actually faces guys who are just as big and just as strong in the nhl? Hagens have already shown that mentally and technically he's the consensous number 1 pick the only downside is that he's only around 5´10/511. Then again bedard is 5´10, celebrini is 6´0 and hughes 5´11 so height isn't the problem. If anybody were to catch hagens it would be misa who is quite clearly better than martone with a higher ceiling.
