Anyone who thinks Kandi isn't a singer singer is sadly a fool. Baritone and several other octaves in one person is magic. People know her speaking and singing voice blind folded immediately, but if she practices and sings constantly she has the ability to change her range, octaves, with control.
Baritone is a make voice type she is a mezzo-soprano with a wide range and actually has great control she makes it heavier and lighter can sing soprano and tenor in the harmony much like Twinkie Clark does Kandi just doesn't do a lot of runs etc
After seeing her on the mask, it made me appreciate her voice even more. I appreciate unique voices. Tamar , tocha and such are a dime a dozen in most churches. She should explore singing different genres.

Here's the thing about La Tocha. I've seen this before because I've lived through it myself. This happens when you outwardly have a favorite child and raise that child to believe they are great and can do no wrong. She is spoiled on a monstrous level. Kandi doesn't cater to or kiss her ass, which bugs her because she's used to everyone feeding into her ego and she can't fathom why Kandi will not. That is why Kandi is the constant villain in her life's narrative. How dare Kandi go off and gain the success she, in her mind, should have. No one is greater than her. No one should have that success except her. Her album will fail and she will continue to fail as long as she continues to hate on Kandi and her sister and treat her sister the way she does. Her mother has allowed her to lie, cheat, and steal to get what she wants no matter who it hurts. She has always backed her up and this is the type of adult you get from that parenting.
