- I test the Enwe Y600 E-Scooter out on the road including acceleration, brake test, steep hill test, grass test, off-road trails and range! And I'll compare it to its close cousin, the iEnyrid M4 Pro S+. How does the Engwe Y600 electric scooter do out in the real world? Is it better than the iEnyrid M4 Pro S+? Watch and find out!
The Engwe Y600 electric scooter is very similar to a scooter I reviewed previously called the iEnyrid M4 Pro S+. It looks almost exactly the same accept for different colors and a few upgrades. I will point out the upgrades and the things I like better than the iEnyrid M4 Pro S+ including a BIG one...The SUSPENSION!
After my overview of the Engwe Y600 I will take you out on the road to show you how it performs in the real world. I test the acceleration, I slam on the brakes at 20mph to see what happens, try to ride up steep hills, ride in grass and go off-road on some gravel trails!
At the end of our ride we will check the range and voltage and see how close we can get to the stated 40 miles of range. How close will we come? Check out my full review and find out!

For sure. Was concerned about the front end rattling. And climbing ability. You helped elevate some of those concerns. Not overly excited about the seat anyway.. so for the price looks acceptable. Not a speedster.. just buying for portability and exploration when the ebikes are too cumbersome. Thanks for your thoughts.

Delivered yesterday, everything is fine, only the seat is wobbly. The bottom pin has a lot of clearance.
You have to tighten that. Hold the one side and turn the latch like a screw. It will tighten. Do that until you latch it and it's tight.

Hey! Great review!!! Wanted to ask, this motor seems to be 600W vs an 800W for the ienryd M4. Did you notice a difference in acceleration? I am thinking the 800W for the M4 may be peak, which would make it similar that of the Engwe Y600.
Honestly no, I did not notice any difference in acceleration. If they didn't post two different motor wattage I wouldn't know the difference.
Can you make a video demonstrating how to change a flat tire … I’ve had my scooter ENGWE y600 for last 3 weeks.. and it’s been great however living in the city now has caused a flat tire …

As I mentioned in my video, this does not have a split rim which means you have to pry the tire off the rim by hand. It's a huge pain in the butt and almost impossible. It took me several hours to do and I was cursing the whole time so you don't want me to make a video because it'll just be me cursing haha. You can buy a new tube from Amazon and it should be a 10x2.5-in tube and then you just have to use brute strength and screwdrivers to pry it off the rim. Then you've got to put the new tube inside the tire and put it back on the rim somehow without popping the tube. Other scooters have a split rims that you undo a few bolts and the rim splits in half so you can easily replace the tube and tire. Unfortunately this one is not like that.

Hey thanks for your question. This is the one I bought for my Nanrobot and I tried it in the Engwe and it worked. Get the 27.2mm size. I also used a piece of 3/4” pipe (around 1"od) to put down in the base so it doesn't slip while riding. The seat post goes in just enough to lock in but sits on in the pipe so it doesn't slip. So what's the final verdict, which one, the iEnyrid M4 Pro S+ or the Engwe Y600 electric scooter do you find to be the overall better electric scooter?
I say the Engwe Y600! The front shocks are really loud on the iEnyrid. The cockpit hardware was plastic and cheap feeling, the folding latch and pin were even harder to use than the Y600 and I had a major steering loose issue where I had to make a tool to go all the way down inside the stem to tighten (3ft long). So overall the Y600 was much better.

Thanks! It's actually really nice. Its perfectly quiet going over bumps and handles the small bumps making for a smooth ride. Much better than M4 pro S+

This one all day! It's much more refined and the front suspension doesn't make a bunch of noise. The Engwe was better.

I bought this y600 few days ago but maximum speed is 17 mph... Any idea how to unlock the speed?

I keep having issues with the rear tire on my Y600; the inner tube constantly starts to puncture or wear out. It might be due to my weight of 110 kg. I'm tired of changing the inner tube almost every day. I'm thinking of installing a solid tire on the rear wheel. Has anyone already done this, and what specifications should the solid tire have?
I would not Install a solid tire unless you want to rattle your teeth out. Have you ran your fingers inside the tire when you have the tube out to make sure there is not something in there puncturing the tube? This happens a lot and happened to me. are your tires pumped up to 50psi on EVERY ride? Ive had tubes in tires for hundreds of not a thousand miles so it seems there is something in there poking it. Check it out

I am looking for a scooter that can fit in my trunk. This one folds with the wheel and has foldable handle bar. Do you recommend it in my case or would you buy something else?
It depends on the size of the trunk but yeah it should fit. If you take the seat off and fold the base down and also fold the scooter like I showed in the video it gets pretty flat. Folding. The handlebars would also help as well if you need some extra space. But yes it folds up pretty good
@@HobartsReviews Currently I have Kukirin G2 Max, which is slightly too large. I need to fold my seats in order to fit it in. I want to replace it with something more compact. The Engwe seems a lot better in that case. I was wondering if there are any other electric scooters, which you would recommend me to consider, besides Engwe, that also have foldable bar.

It depends on the tire. I always put it at the max pressure recommended by tire.

@HobartsReviews i also wonder if your in the USA and had the item shipped to a state in the USA. Currently im having an issue ordering one. Its claiming any address i enter "Your order cannot be shipped to the selected address. Review your address to ensure it's correct and try again, or select a different address"

So I think the big issue I and several of your other followers have is we don’t know how to get to the p menu. I finally figured out you have to hit the power and mode button at the same time. Honestly, you are the only person that has a video on this. It would be wonderful if you would show people how to do that. I realize it is not your job but trust me, you don’t want me making a video on anything lol You explained things really well and I think it would benefit a lot of people. Totally up to you. What's the top speed you get going uphills?
Depends on the hill... It can hold pretty good speed on hills. Say an overpass... Still can hold 25mph
