Both turned out good. Nice you had Janine to sand out the black spray - it looks better blended in. Great idea and I'm sure the pubs will love them. Cheers.
It is funny you saying I LIKE A LOT I say that to wife a lot.Very good idea making the Dog bed.I’m glad i subscribed leanings a lot.Thank you for sharing
Two beds for the price of one barrel! This is awesome, i never seen a dog bed quite like this. Great idea. Any dog or dog owner would love to have one of these. Is the paint lacquer and ring rust paint pet friendly? It might now matter but just wondering.
Leaving the bottom 2 rings intact keeps the wood well wedged together. Made one of these awhile back and found removing the lid (prior to cutting) gave extra depth for the cushion and lightened the "frame"
Great and wonderful!! Nice!!
Such a fabulous DIY project and the dog bed looks fantastic.

Be great for cats too
Yes cats too, of coarse
What did you end up doing with the middle section? I'm in the middle of a similar project and don't know what to do with the mid section 🤔
I made a wine bottle rack out of it and built a stand for it to sit on
