My home airport, and easily one of the best in the US. Impressive modeling of that parking deck, which you see about 7:18, which I believe is the largest single parking deck in North America.
What a great airport, looking forward to the future, longer episode on this one - big fan! It would be awesome if you can utilise all 4 parallel runways, i.e. comparable to LAX with the outer runways for arrivals and inner runways for take-offs. Based on the taxiway layout I believe it should work this way in DTW as well. Makes things more interesting and you get to use the airport at full potential, I think :) Based on your LAX episode I would be confident you can handle it! Same with airports like Haneda btw :) Edit: Halfway through the episode I see that you already went ahead with the proposed change :D Great watch!
I did have a bit of a flash in my brain of wondering whether it was an LAX-style layout. I'll have to try that next time I play with it! Cheers for watching!
Love the episodes!! I always wonder why you don't get a quick sim brief brief. That way you could see the currenct active runways of new airports at least.
This is a really good shout actually - not sure why I hadn't thought of that before. I think in the past I've checked FlightRadar just before recording, but it's a good option.
Got this the other day very good sim for the speech function I use a headset and all microphone options are correct, it’s just the voice function in game picks up some of what I say like CALLSIGN instruction then puts random stuff. All volume is correct and the tower recog thing is active with the same microphone.
You have to say things in a specific order for the sim to recognise it as the commands are pre-determined. There's a file somewhere in the game files where you can change them to your liking.
These Feelthere dudes keep releasing airports so fast the quality is straight trash. They should put some work in 1 airport instead of rushing airport after airport.
I think they do a good job considering that they're a small team. We've got so much variety in terms of airports now, it caters for a massive audience I feel.
Another good episode! I am enjoying controlling this airport as well. Cheers!

You can use the command of pushing the tail north South east or West
This struck me as an option while I had the issue with Delta ahaha! Although I've never utilised it. Need to do my research.

757 the Greyhound of the skies. My favorite commercial aircraft. President Trump owns a real nice spec 757, video is on TH-cam
That is a mad house!
It's absolutely bonkers isn't it?
Dtw my almost home airport. Have to check out the passenger passage between the 2 delta concourses. Normal is 27rfor arrivals and 27l for departures.
Chaz, Possible Controller Deviation (DAL1011 and DAL1071) I'll need you to talk to your Supervisor about additional training :)
Give me a number to call?
