Kea, you just made my day when you said JBW held a special, place in your heart. I feel the same way about you. So,pleased you have started the Antique Rooster Sampler. It looks beautiful !
Honesty, my inspiration is coming from watching my favorite Flosstubers such as yourself! Kea, you make me wanna just drop everything and pull all the stitching out and get going! When I’m stitching, I feel a sense of calm. 💙
Just came across your floss tube for the first time. I am new to floss tube. I started stitching in late 80's and stitched off and on for quite a while. I recently retired and have picked up cross stitching again and floss tube has been my inspiration. So many amazing designers and stitchers to show us so many different options of creating our own and amazing finishes.
I'm getting a lot of inspiration from TH-cam right now. I never knew that I loved samplers but I have 5 on my list to start, one of them being Emmaline Purnell. Just seeing all the beautiful WIPS and finishes makes me want to start everything :) I'm glad you are getting your sewing mojo back. I started watching your quilting videos several years ago. Now I just need more hours in my day to do all the things!
Inspiration comes from gathering with friends once a month at the library. To see what they are stitching , inspires me to hurry up and start the one they’re working on. I enjoy your videos thank you Happy Stitching
Great to see you getting back into the things you love. My inspiration has come from watching FlossTube and I haven’t been in a slump for lack of inspiration because of it.
I had lost my stitching mojo after coming down with a horrible cold recently, to get mine back I just kept watching my Flosstube favorites and as I felt better the stitching need returned as well. I also always find inspiration from those I follow on Instagram. Glad to have you back!
My inspiration is coming from finishing old projects started in 2020 or 2021 when I did Maynia. Although they are not my current style, I’m falling in love with them again as they are finished. Thanks for sharing your stitching and inspiration. Lynette ❤
Hi Kea. So good to see you again ☺ The finish you adapted to "Give Grace" is so sweet - I love the changes you made. How exciting one of the women you taught to stitch will stitch the Emily Call charts after you! As for inspiration, Flosstube provides a lot of inspiration to me. I also find inspiration through getting together with stitchy friends and talking about our stitching; there's something about sitting with someone who just "gets it," you know? I hope you and your family are doing well today. Have a great weekend and happy stitching 💜
Love your finishes! My inspiration right now is the season we are in, Autumn. I love Autumn, it’s my favorite season! I love to see the leaves change color and the cool mornings, warm days, and wearing baggy sweatshirts in the evening. Happy stitching!
Colours are very inspiring for me! I loved the floss palette that you showed. And of course…love flosstube and all of those amazing projects. Thanks Kea
Hi Kea, I love seeing your videos and hearing your gentle voice talking about your life and your stitches. I am inspired by fall designs all year round, black cats, pumpkins and crows. I alternate between cross stitch and rug hooking. Perfection to me is an alphabet and a cat or crow. I love to see brown or black samplers. Flosstube has brough the stitchy world to my door.
It’s good to see you again ! My inspiration comes from Instagram and floss tube. Due to health issues my quilting and cross stitch enjoyment lessened but I needed to do something with my time. I decided to do smaller quilt projects and smaller cross stitch patterns. My creative bug is back !
I get inspired watching everyone’s WIPs on YT. In September, I got inspired by doing the temperature stitching after watching Jenn The Caffeinated Crafter. I’m making progress on my WIPs a 100 stitches a day on the project for that temp. It is definitely making a difference a little bit a time and keeping me motivated.
Congrats on your finishes!!! My inspiration has been Fall & all the fall patterns I have!!! I want to start about 3-4 of them!! And seasonal smalls! 💜💜💜💜 Happy Stitching & hope to see you soon at stitchy meet ups! 💜💜💜
I have Summer Quaker kitted up and since Valdani would not work with my 40ct. I was in your same dilemma about how to do a floss conversation. I then found that Valdani has a 6-stranded floss as well and that is what I got for it. There was one color that was no longer available and I just got the closest Valdani to that color. Watching Flosstube and Instagram gives me the most inspiration along with Rosewood Manors Facebook group.
Always Flosstube for inspiration. Fantastic video. That was so sweet of your husband to say,he loved to hear the sound of you back to the sewing machine . Love your beautiful cross stitching. Your children are so blessed to be homeschooling. Keep in stitches, Kea .
Flosstube definitely gives me inspiration but I find, being a bit later in life and still working, it is hard to have the energy to stitch. I just try to do a little at a time to keep going. Love seeing your lovely projects!
The autumn Quaker is stunnnnning! I just started it. You should too lol. I found your channel because of quilting way back when. Would love to see you start up again. Everyone’s samplers are giving me inspiration. ❤
Sampler September kind of got me going. I had picked a focus piece each week to work on. Which was really fun. But if I wanted to swap out early I let myself. Love the little pillows for the quilt alphabet. Can't wait to see more of those done.
Yahoo, here you are! Thank you for filming and letting us see your stitches. I get inspiration by seeing a pattern that just fits a loved one and I can stitch for them.
Such heartfelt pieces you've shared. Thank you, Kea. Oh, and BTW, thank you for the rec in your floss tube last month and I am loving my Volka P stitching holder. Over the last year my inspirations; moving me to stitch, are stitching on the same pieces with YT-found friends.
So glad to see all your beautiful projects. I vote for coconut shell for your restart. I love that fabric. I used it in 40 ct for a Plum Street. Stunning. I'll say you inspired me to run off and by the Emaline Purnell chart. I'm not sure when I will start it, but so happy to have it in my stash. Happy Fall. Happy Stitching.
Love your finishes and your progress on your wips. My inspiration is floss tube, seeing all the beautiful charts and the progress everybody has. Happy stitching!
I would also say that Insta is my biggest inspo, but! Also colours! This year was a combo of blue and green, I've noticed everything more than usual! And now started gravitating toward red! So Started noticing red knits, samplers, fabric - saving all under my insta account to go back to and get even more inspired. A plan is forming for next years' colour of the year and that makes me so giddy! (Red is new to me... Was never a red kinda person)
I use Vera Bradley tech cases too. They are perfect and outlet shops make them cheaper than project bags. Their laptop cases are great for larger projects.
Your working on some beautiful projects. I have not done a Quaker sampler yet, but it’s under my want list. After rushing to see my Mom before she passed and helping to take care of her. I decided when I got home I would work on Serenity by Theresa Kogut. I needed to feel God’s peace right now. I always like to hear your thought process when you’re talking about a new chart that you want to start. Thank you
Thanks for a lovely flosstube. I have both Autumn and Winter Quaker with the called for Valdani threads. I started Autumn Quaker on 28 count and from a distance it looks fantastic but the threads are far too thick and bulky up close. I am using a 40 ct. piece of linen for Winter Quaker and I separate the three stranded Valdani and stitch with one thread. The effect is a little more muted but just fine. The Valdani has lovely variegation so I don’t think you will get the same effect with a conversion. Just my two cents. Stitching with my friends gives me so much inspiration as they are extremely talented. Happy Stitching!
I totally forget to go on Instagram. And then when I do, I have so much to look at that it’s like I can’t spend hours doing this. So floss tube is my inspiration or recently I was at a retreat, and the brag table was definitely an inspiration.
Floss-tube, IG, and in-store shopping that has stitched models are always great inspiration. But let’s be honest, I’m easily swayed not matter the inspiration 😂
I am stitching Fall/ Halloween. Flosstube gives me inspiration. We are on vacation and I brought 8 projects ( away for 2 weeks ) but haven’t started any. I did go to a needlework shop and buy new fabric and added to my floss collection. I am going to try some cheese it pillows but a little larger count than what you work on.
I also get much inspiration from Instagram and great flosstube like yours. I just received my copy of Emaline Purnell and look forward to starting it soon.
Oh all the beautiful new charts from Marketplace!! I have three new projects headed my way wheeee! Currently working on Emily’s Bliss and 12 Berries of Christmas. ❤
I’ve got to tell you this. I’m a long time watcher so hubby (of 55 yrs) has seen you on our TV before. I was stitching, watching you, and he comes in ask for remote and says to YOU, you’re pretty honey and you have a sweet voice, but it’s time for the news. MEN!
If I’m being honest, Instagram for me too. Joy especially (Carolina Stitchers) her stitching and decorating is just 😘 unbelievable. I want to be her when I grow up 😂😂. If you keep showing me hands across the sea I’m going to have to start collecting them 😅 so good to see you well and stitching and sewing.

Please follow up and let us know about the conversion on the rosewood manor quakers. Now I am in love with them. Wonder about a Vicky Clayton silk conversion. Well you just inspired me to want to do the Rosewood Manor Quakers !! 😊
Aren’t they beautiful?! I laid awake last night thinking of the BSM silks that I have in my collection that I could convert. Isn’t it funny what catches our attention

I’m getting my inspiration from watching all these flosstubes. So glad to see you!
I'm so glad!
Kea you make my day better. Thank you for sharing your wonder self & stitching with me. You make me smile.
You are so kind, thank you for you watching!

Wonderful!
Lovely flosstubers are so inspiring ❤. I see so many different styles and pieces. Now - if I could just spend an hour a day.
Great to see you getting back into the things you love. My inspiration has come from watching FlossTube and I haven’t been in a slump for lack of inspiration because of it.
Wonderful!
Looking through my bin of charts is giving me inspiration. I am 71 and I have so many charts I want to stitch.
I had lost my stitching mojo after coming down with a horrible cold recently, to get mine back I just kept watching my Flosstube favorites and as I felt better the stitching need returned as well. I also always find inspiration from those I follow on Instagram. Glad to have you back!
Oh no! I’m glad that it has returned!
Always enjoy your videos. You and your videos give me inspiration. Love seeing your finishes and what you are working on. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much! Too kind
My inspiration is coming from finishing old projects started in 2020 or 2021 when I did Maynia. Although they are not my current style, I’m falling in love with them again as they are finished. Thanks for sharing your stitching and inspiration. Lynette ❤
I get my inspiration from watching flosstube and from Instagram. I loved seeing your projects. I LOVE the toasted coconut linen.
Oh thank you!
Great video. What inspires me is youtubers like yourself. Seeing what you and others stitch and finish makes me want yo finish mine. Thank you.
You can do it!
You are always so kind and encouraging! I appreciate you and your friendship ❤️ inspiration is the best when it comes from friends who ‘get it!’
Love your finishes! My inspiration right now is the season we are in, Autumn. I love Autumn, it’s my favorite season! I love to see the leaves change color and the cool mornings, warm days, and wearing baggy sweatshirts in the evening. Happy stitching!
This sounds wonderful!
Seeing all the beautiful stitching of others! And Christmas will be here before we know it!!❤️
Can't wait!
Hey Girl!!! Missed ya! A trip to the beach has inspired me! Glad you are back at it! Stitching, quilting, all the things!
That does sound lovely!
Colours are very inspiring for me! I loved the floss palette that you showed. And of course…love flosstube and all of those amazing projects. Thanks Kea
I'm so glad!
Enjoy your Flosstube so much! I get lots of inspiration from instagram and watching flosstubes.
Me too!! Thank you for watching
I have been yearning to stitch the Autumn Quaker. Seeing that you now have all 3 patterns has inspired me to get going on Autumn.
Just watched you for the first time. Loved seeing your stitching. I’m inspired by all the Brenda Gervais fall patterns!
Doesn’t she have some lovely patterns?!
KeaBee, you have given me inspiration. Thanks for showing us your stitching finishes.😊
Thank you for watching!
Hi Kea, I love seeing your videos and hearing your gentle voice talking about your life and your stitches. I am inspired by fall designs all year round, black cats, pumpkins and crows. You are always an inspiration for my stitching. But also the change of seasons always sparks the stitchy bug.
You are too kind. Thank you for watching!
Another fantastic flosstube! Missed seeing you!!
It’s good to see you again ! My inspiration comes from Instagram and floss tube. Due to health issues my quilting and cross stitch enjoyment lessened but I needed to do something with my time. I decided to do smaller quilt projects and smaller cross stitch patterns. My creative bug is back !
Good to see you back again Kea. Such lovely stitching! 🐨👍
Thank you!
Definitely Flosstube . All the people I watch are great inspiration. Watching first flosstubes for their enthusiasm fills my cup
I love to watch new to me flosstubes for inspiration. Especially those who are just starting to stitch and finding their style
I get inspired by watching Flosstube. Like just now when I saw your JBW French Rooster alphabet!
JBW is like no other! Thank you for watching
Stitching on one of my whips through the year after not touching some of them last year is giving me inspiration!
I’ll have to look this up!
I get inspiration from floss tube and new designs that I like.
My inspiration usually comes from FlossTube...BUT...with Fall & Winter moving in here, just the weather gives me inspiration! 😀
Love that!
Congrats on your finishes!!! My inspiration has been Fall & all the fall patterns I have!!! I want to start about 3-4 of them!! And seasonal smalls! 💜💜💜💜 Happy Stitching & hope to see you soon at stitchy meet ups! 💜💜💜

Beautiful projects! I love nature and it’s always inspiring! Flosstube and instagram of course help 😂. I’m stitching a sunflower while I watch you.
I’m sure it’s beautiful! Thank you for watching
Flosstube definitely gives me inspiration but I find, being a bit later in life and still working, it is hard to have the energy to stitch. I just try to do a little at a time to keep going. Love seeing your lovely projects!
You can do it! Thank you for watching!
I have often wondered where you were. So glad I found you.🤎🧵🤘🤠👍❤️🥰😎💋💖🍪
I’m quilting more than stitching right now but I love the autumn piece you showed so I guess I get inspiration from flosstube.
The autumn Quaker is stunnnnning! I just started it. You should too lol. I found your channel because of quilting way back when. Would love to see you start up again. Everyone’s samplers are giving me inspiration. ❤
Thank you for watching! It’s eating at me to start
I-have been away from TH-cam but back now and very happy to see you again!!

Sampler September kind of got me going. I had picked a focus piece each week to work on. Which was really fun. But if I wanted to swap out early I let myself. Love the little pillows for the quilt alphabet. Can't wait to see more of those done.
My inspiration is re-loving my stash charts that i bought so long ago and still really want to stitch!
That is great inspiration!
Yahoo, here you are! Thank you for filming and letting us see your stitches. I get inspiration by seeing a pattern that just fits a loved one and I can stitch for them.

I've been going to retreats and stitching meetups..brings me inspiration.
Wonderful!
Flosstube and instagram have been giving me inspiration lately. Loving fall and Halloween.
I’ve got to tell you this. I’m a long time watcher so hubby (of 55 yrs) has seen you on our TV before. I was stitching, watching you, and he comes in ask for remote and says to YOU, you’re pretty honey and you have a sweet voice, but it’s time for the news. MEN!
Oh wow! This gave me a good chuckle! Thank you for watching (and to hubby for the compliments)!

I totally agree about Joy! She has some beautiful finishing. Thank you for watching! I hope to influence you to try a HATS 🤣
Instagram and floss tube…. So much inspiration!
Since I don’t have a local LNS I get my inspiration online from stitchers that share their stitching.
Watching flosstube gives me inspiration or is that just enabling. 😂 Love all your stitching & enabling. I'm ordering Blessed are they from Acorns and threads.
Yes!
@@KeaBee yes it is and oh your crow with the tomato!! Have to have him too
Hands Across the Sea is what has been inspiring me. Brenda and the Serial Starters are to blame mostly. I want to stitch everything because they have so many beautiful things. I am stitching Summer Quakers with the Valdani floss on a 28 count and it is tight and thick. That is the way it is called for to use. I wonder if you could separate the strands and use one strand instead of all three and get the same outcome on a higher count fabric? Thank you for your video.
I love Hands Across the Sea so much! I’ll check out the suggestion with Valdani threads.
Hi Kea , great video. Give grace is on what count?. Love your stitching. Take care❤
That is on a 40ct Colour and Cotton
Glad you’re getting so much stitching time! I also got the new HATS chart and she’s a beauty! I’m curious about your choice of DMC with 56 ct linen. I use DMC ON 40:ct and had heard it’s too thick to use on higher counts. Does it work well for you on 56? I’m interested in trying higher counts so trying to figure out how to approach it. Thanks!
That thought didn’t cross my mind. I will probably need to change either the floss or fabric because DMC will be too thick for 56 count!
Love your finishes !!!
My inspiration comes from FlossTube. I saw your Words to Live by and now I want to do it as one big piece. Where did you get the pattern!!?!
You can find it on Etsy from Emily Call Stitching (formerly Salt & Pepper)
@@KeaBee thank you
I’m thinking it’s your floss not the fabric. For me , I have used 100.3 and the twist of the thread make my stitches look horrible. So I don’t use 100.3. Just me though….
