8:43 Every person, everywhere - this is the reaction we want our partners to have when we buy the things we love and don’t necessarily need. Well done Aaron and Laura for being awesome when it comes to supporting each other’s vision. 👏
We really really really need you to grow giant pumpkins on the new property!!!!!!!!!! Be still my heart if you did a video decorating with them! Large scale decorating 🙌🏻
I live in Ontario Canada zone 6b, my father and our next door neighbour each planted a redwood in the backyard in 1960, within 12 feet of the back door, and 5 feet from each other, clearly not the right location, they are still alive and massive, and provide beautiful shade in the summer, I think you have selected a better location for your gift from Alaska
I’m glad you got it! I sent some honey berries to two the same day, one to WI and one to GA. The one to GA arrived in 4 days and it is going to take three weeks to arrive in WI sent first class. The darker bark honey berries are that way naturally, looking dead but not, and their little branches whorls are in a circle around the main stem . The blue velvet one is a creeper with 2+ inch leaves that hides the berries from the birds. 😁 I let the birds have the first one and I use the second one.
Hi Susan. A friend gave me three small Dawn Redwoods. Two survived and are growing beautifully. I have deer that come through late fall and throughout winter. Are yours bothered by deer?
I’m also in Alaska! What part are you in? I’ve never heard of redwood here? I would love something like that in our space. I’m in the Anchorage area. Nice to see a fellow Alaskan!!!
I loved the drone footage showing the new trees so fantastic! And the fall colors being displayed throughout your property are so pretty! Can only imagine how it will look in a few years! I hope you’ll still be making videos for a long time so we can see it mature❤️
they have a stream like right there, and they plant a water heavy tree in the middle of the desert. why? where there any consideration they forgot to mention aside from aesthetics? it's gonna be a stupid big tree, and it's at the entrance where it will block the view. seems like they are setting it up for failure since Laura will certainly move it a couple of times next year XD
How some people's life sometimes doesn't make sense to others...no reason to be rude. Arron and Laura and family bring a huge load of joy, peace and valuable info to others, so consider others, before you spew out your own discontented views of life. Thank you😊
@@margies5906 so them seemingly killing a tree they got as a gift is not rude. Ok. They seemed very disappointed they got that like it was a white elephant gift and not bother to even git it a fair chance. Hope they water it just right because they said many times they have hard pan in that area so it's not going to drain according to them and roots won't be able to go in either.
I love how you use your bounty to bless others! Those evergreens in the urns are spectacular, and the sweet Redwood…I do hope it survives and thrives. What a lovely thing for Susan (Alaska) to do, and I know as she watched your whole family plant her tree, her heart was full! ❤
Hope the Redwood lives. It will look so good. Everything looks so beautiful with the fall color. Your garden is really evolving. I love to start my days with Laura and Garden Answer. Have a blessed day everyone.
Hi Laura and Aaron! How sweet of Susan in Alaska to send you a redwood. I hope it does well and is planted where it will get a lot of water. The pumpkin giveaway was nice. That corner at the Andres was so pretty. The 2 trees you got look good in the urns. Thank you so much for sharing!
Good morning GA Family! Thank you Susan for sharing your redwood. I pray it is happy in its new home and thrives! I know whoever gets the pumpkins will enjoy them. May God continue to bless you and your sweet family. Hugs from N.C..❤
Linda Dorough Dixon/Mountain Park, Georgia...I am a master gardener and I think if you plant several hardy plants around the Redwood it would be protected from the cold so it doesn't take all of the winds and weather. Good luck.. I hope it lives....
I loved seeing the happiness that Laura expressed when a couple of ladies came up and started taking some of the pumpkins. Laura and Aaron, you are wonderful giving people, never stop.
Yes and get excited if you’re in the top 10!! Twice I have had #1 for the Highlights…Lol!! Some obsessions harm no one🌾🍁. It is a great way to enjoy my early morning peace and quiet and coffee, and i have learned a TON!
Thank you for the drone view. The space is starting to come together. You take an empty canvas and create beauty. Thank you for sharing your world everyday! God Bless You! 🫶🏻🙏🏻💜💙
Redwood rising is a fun TH-cam/ TikTok account by a forest ranger in California and he teaches so much good information about redwoods and their forests.
Considering redwoods grow in California in urban desert areas with irrigation and get massive quick just keep it plenty watered. There’s 2 redwoods over here in Michigan as well by Muskegon that are several feet in diameter and I believe we’re planted in the 40s
Wow! If that redwood takes hold I guarantee you will be planting more! They are not native to where we live and we planted three when we moved to our property over 20 years ago and now we have 20😂 they are huge and absolutely gorgeous ❤
Wow!! I just realized how much the children have grown over the summer! I love the “dumpster “ trees. Fall is my all time favorite season and all of the colors energize me. We are finally getting rain…of which I will not complain, as Kansas is in extreme drought, but I can’t wait to be outside in my garden.
The kiddos are growing so fast!!! They are both so articulate. Impressive! How wonderful of you to bless others with your bounty!! I am sure the pumpkin giveaway created a lot of smiles!!!
A tree from Alaska - how fun!! Why am I so excited to see if that lives and grows?!?! :) Also - I highly recommend a family vacation to the Black Hills. It's BEAUTIFUL especially in the fall. Low key w/ lots of great family activities. I grew up vacationing there a few times and last year we took our 2 1/2 year old there and she loved it. :) Happy Gardening!
Last season I grew so many pumpkins and gave most of them away. I harvested over 300 it was closer to 350 at last count. I didn’t do any this year, but next season I’ll do it again and I’m going to add decorative corn and edible corn as well. Corn stalks are really expensive here $15 for a bundle of less than 10 stalks! Hope everyone has a wonderful day Happy Fall Y’all 🎃🌽🌾🧡🎃🌽🌾🧡
What a beautiful vision seeing the whole family watching the redwood be planted. Can imagine it in years to come with Benjamin and Samantha telling their kids about the day they planted it with mum and dad. Must be so nice for Susan to see this video. Got to say though was kind of hoping we'd have a little peak and Mr & Mrs GA all dressed up for a wedding 😂
How lovely of you to share your pumpkin crop! Have you thought of taking some to the Children's Centre you always support so lovingly? Maybe they could share them with the families they are helping. An elementary school teacher would be thrilled to hand the tiny ones to their students, as well! Happy fall from Ontario, Canada!
Good morning can’t beat the price free😀fingers crossed for the redwood! Love the very peaceful skyline view of your property .hello Benjamin and doll baby Samantha and Aron sounds like the family have a wonderful day planned enjoy take care momma Laura
I am from the north coast of California and miss my redwoods so much. I do hope that the redwood takes ahold and grows. They definitely love fog and moisture. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
My favorite is when Laura says something like "going to plant up the big, elegant concrete urns up by... the dumpster." Lol! Maybe she'll start calling it "the disposary" to enhance the normal (or whatever her mom's saying is)! So funny!
Without seeing the video yet, the ‘Disposary” must be where everyone must drives by to enter their gorgeous property. I do adore all their gorgeous cement urns and planters❤️🍁
Your generosity, Laura, is sweet to see. The world needs more like that. Everything is looking so lovely. I’m always thrilled when there’s drone footage included in a video. I hope you’ll post pics of you and Aaron dressed for the wedding!
Can't even imagine growing a truck full of pumpkins🤷FREE is a great deal as some of those cost lots of $ to buy!! The trees in the flower urns are so nice ❤️love the look! Beautiful day for a wedding👍👏😊
Hi Laura and Aaron pray you all continue in a happy family life you all have. Was that your dad we saw helping unload the pumpkin. Would really love that video you promised to do with your dad, even if its part of a video.
A great use for a holey bucket (for those of us without water systems) for a slow drip when planting or watering new trees. Our garden centre here in EasternOntario Canada advised 2 10 gallon pails every week for new trees…right up to snowfall 🌲❄️
Always fun! Good morning everyone! Glad to see the kids! The red wood can get huge, Aaron's "size", I really hope it gets to a hundred feet at least! Blessings ❤🤗❤️
I hope this blesses your heart, I wanted to share that when I’m on IG and someone on my feed mentions anything about plants or gardening I AKWAYS share that they should follow garden Answer. Almost everyone says they will. I’m so happy about that. It feels good to have your wonderful site to share with confidence. Have a wonderful day!
The perspective with the drone really helped me understand how the new property is aligned with your existing…fabulous property…endless space for new projects 🙂
That child will stand next to that tree when he's in his 60s telling his kids and grandkids about planting it with his parents. I love that you make incredible memories with your children. Those are the things that stay with them forever and then they will be doing what you've taught them when they're grown. May the Lord bless your family with health and prosperity and much love an joy.
That tree area on the new property is the perfect place for a kids secret playhouse or tree fort or something like that for when they're old enough to explore the property alone. I would have had soooo much fun as a kid on your property! What a fun childhood your babies get!
If we had had room in our truck when we visited the garden center, we would have loaded a weeping cherry and a blue spruce. Everyone at the center was so nice! ❤
Oh my! How fun! I don’t know how you passed on that beautiful red tree at the nursery. Every time I see the drone shots I remember that first bush you planted on the South property. I thought it would take years to make that space look like anything. Of course you and Aaron have it gorgeous already.
You guys really know how to get it done! Of course, Benjamin and Samantha are the best supervisors! The whole place is looking beautiful. Enjoy the wedding!
So excited for you to have a redwood in your garden! I lived for many years in a cottage in the middle of a redwood forest. When I walked out my front door I was surrounded by 100+ feet tall redwoods. I bet you’d love visiting Big Basin State Park in California. 🌲 ❤️
Hi one day behind again lol Sweet of you all to give your pumpkins away. The new property is going to look great when the trees start to grow is that Aaron's dream land with different types of trees? By
My child loves dirt bikes and loves seeing dirt fly and become one with the air. The auger having diet fly I guess is the same cathartic feeling for a gardener 😍
You are AMAZING!! You are so industrious & have never ending energy!! What time do you finally retire in the evening & awaken in the morning? Do you think there will come a day when you & Aaron have no place left to plant? You'll have to sit back & simply enjoy all of the beauty you've created! I certainly hope one or both of the children will continue your legacy one day! Love seeing the kids in the videos! 😊
Sweet giveaway! I'm sure everyone will enjoy those pumpkins sooo much!!! As for your new redwood, it can easily reach 100' tall. My inlaws had a huge one, planted when my husband was 12 yrs. old (he is 61 now). It was a good 85' or more tall. Christmas lights left in it from year to year eventually just ended up in the sky, lol! Redwoods connect to other redwoods. They spread their roots deep and sideways and link with the others around them; guess it helps them stay standing in high winds. They easily handle 100 degree heat, with enough deep water. Eventually, it'll find its own water, when it reaches the water table. :) Enjoy! 🌲🌲🌲
That overhead video showed the new trees and back gardens was just fantastic! I could really see for the first time how far y’all have gotten! It’s just glorious!❤❤❤
Wonderful giving back to the community. I’m glad to see another women can drive a forklift. Go girl! Love redwoods. If I get by you on my trip I’m drop off a tree.
What a wonderful gift from Susan😊 And how lovely that Laura planted the tree with the whole family and even highlighted it with drone footage. Beautifully done😊
I live in middle Tennessee, and we planted a Dawn Redwood tree. I don’t know what variety you were gifted, but they are fast growers with beautiful structure, and you get that gorgeous red bark for winter interest!
I love these videos! Have you thought about maybe trying to set up the “for free” things outside the local food bank? I think it might reach the people who might really need the extra free things the most! Blessings to you all! Vicki 😊🌸
GA followers: Order your merch. I literally got my order faster than Amazon. That’s right, faster than Amazon. I’m so impressed. Let Ken and team know they are doing an amazing job.
Sending good vibes for the little redwood tree! If anyone can have success you folks can. The children are growing so fast. It is such a joy to see them. Enjoy your wedding!
Hope the Redwood survives! I adore evergreens! Samantha is so smart and adorable! She looks just like your mom! Love Aron and how happy you guys are! Hugs to Benjamin! ❤️
Good morning! I hope Susan’s tree survives and lives happily forever! ❤
Agree ❤
Susan from Alaska, Thank you so much for sending such a beautiful Redwood from your garden! You are so generous and kind ❤
8:43 Every person, everywhere - this is the reaction we want our partners to have when we buy the things we love and don’t necessarily need. Well done Aaron and Laura for being awesome when it comes to supporting each other’s vision. 👏
I sincerely hope that Redwood survives! What a beautiful specimen it will be! 🙏❤️🙏
I know! I would be beside myself with excitement! They are so lucky! ❤
That was a redwood?!? I missed the name of it. Wow, imagine if it grows tall!

I’m in Ontario Canada, too, but way up north in Thunder Bay, where we’re a 3B. Such vastly different growing zones in this huge province of ours.
I’m glad you got it! I sent some honey berries to two the same day, one to WI and one to GA. The one to GA arrived in 4 days and it is going to take three weeks to arrive in WI sent first class. You are a very generous person. I hope Laura pins your comment so that everyone can see it.
Susan, thanks for sending them this wonderful tree. I hope it thrives in their area.
What an amazing gift ❤ Your generosity is a beautiful thing in a world so desperate for love ❤️

Aaron needs a post auger for tractor to plant the big trees.
they have a stream like right there, and they plant a water heavy tree in the middle of the desert. why? where there any consideration they forgot to mention aside from aesthetics?

Loved everything about this video❤. What a fabulous and thoughtful gift from Susan, looks like we are all hoping it survives and flourishes.
I love how Aaron's face lights up when he sees trees.
I love how you use your bounty to bless others! Those evergreens in the urns are spectacular, and the sweet Redwood…I do hope it survives and thrives. What a lovely thing for Susan (Alaska) to do, and I know as she watched your whole family plant her tree, her heart was full! ❤
Thank you, Susan for you generosity, it made me feel good in a not-so-feel-good world. We need more people like you.
Hope the Redwood lives. It will look so good. Everything looks so beautiful with the fall color. Your garden is really evolving. I love to start my days with Laura and Garden Answer. Have a blessed day everyone.
How generous you are! Pumpkins like these are quite costly where we live. Bless you!!
Aaron is such a breath of fresh air! Everybody needs an Aaron…🙂
Oh I hope that Redwood takes to its spot that would be so cool. That poof of dirt while Aaron was digging the hole wow.
I thought it would be cool to see the poof up close and slow-mo!
That powder soil is unbelievable to me! I am always amazed at what it grows!
I live 40 minutes from them and have the same dirt. It's terrible......
I belly laughed when Aaron gave the water hardness scale and where yours DIDN’T fall on that scale 😂
05:41 Look Dad! Look what I grew! ❤ such a wonderful thing to be able to give so much away! Precious times 💞
Good morning GA Family! Thank you Susan for sharing your redwood. I pray it is happy in its new home and thrives! I know whoever gets the pumpkins will enjoy them. May God continue to bless you and your sweet family. Hugs from N.C..❤

Good morning GA community...you know you are obsessed when you sit and wait for the notification that today's video is posted!!! Have a great day.

Oh, Laura, a redwood. How wonderful! The ancient forest has always amazed me. A fantastic gift. I hope it thrives there. Crossing my fingers. 💕
I hope their great great grandchildren can sit beneath it. What amazing things it will have seen by then!
What a wonderful Education you're giving to your children, nature to me is one of the most beautiful thing that God has created thank you

If it lives, you will love the Redwood. They're so soft.
Morning Everyone 🥰
You guys!!! The drone view starting at 16:53 is just incredible! You're property has changed so much, and I'm loving it!
A great use for a holey bucket (for those of us without water systems) for a slow drip when planting or watering new trees. Our garden centre here in EasternOntario Canada advised 2 10 gallon pails every week for new trees…right up to snowfall 🌲❄️
I Hope the Redwood makes it, it will be a wonderful addition to the new property.
Always fun! Good morning everyone! Glad to see the kids!
The red wood can get huge, Aaron's "size", I really hope it gets to a hundred feet at least! Blessings ❤🤗❤️
I think it's great that you and Aaron share the fruits of your labor with other people 😊 I love seeing all the different colors in your gardens!!

Spinner gourd garland! Throw in some pine cones and acorns, perfect for all of fall.
That would be beautiful!
That garland would be SO pretty on a natural Christmas tree!
I love the ones that she put gold leaf on and uses in her Christmas decor!
Love starting my mornings with the GA fam! Gives me inspiration and just a full heart for the day. Thank y’all for everything y’all do and share

I thought it would take years to make that space look like anything. Of course you and Aaron have it gorgeous already.
It is wonderful to share your garden. It is looking so beautiful. Benjamin is getting so big. He is ready for a bigger shovel!
Was thinking the same thing... Maybe for Christmas??? 🤩

I hope the cute redwood makes it. It’s really a nice shape. You have a lovely family and home. :)
You are carrying all of them one by one....OMG...poor darling.

Oh my, Benjamin in flip flops! So adorable.
I adore your people and home and life and education - please don’t stop !
Redwoods are beautiful! They’re also extremely thirsty, grow massive quickly, and will plow through everything with their roots.
I can't believe how beautiful and everything is looking. The colors are amazing..
