While moving from Alaska to Virginia a couple of weeks ago I stopped in and saw this one in person-it’s absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for taking a few minutes to talk that day, Nick!
I've never seen or heard of one of these cars in my life. If I saw it, I would be like, what the heck is that. It's a cute car but I can't believe all these nice cars y'all get with no ac. Here in Florida, it's just a Must Have! Cars gotta have AC, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Tilt Wheel, AM/FM Radios and keyless entry. People spend all that money restoring these cars and neglect that latter. I love the interior. They did a great job on the car. Nice center console, very unusual. nice bucket seat.
Don't know if you know this but this era of cars didn't have a A.C it was a option most people didn't want because it was expensive plus they wanted HP not cold air I'm pretty sure even cars in warmer climate people didn't do it.
@@wilfredocaban3542 They've had car airconditioning back to the 1950"s. Back then in the 50s 60s 70s the add on wasn't that much on a 4 year loan. Even an upgrade to an AM/FM radio wasn't that much of a change in a car payment.
These were sold at the Pontiac/Buick dealerships back in the day but they were not Pontiacs they were Acadian the chevy2 style was called a Canso the Chevelle style was called Beaumont both had Sport Deluxe trim which is the Super Sport in a chevy. Friend of mine has a red 67 Beaumont SD 396, power bulge hood same as the Chevelle its really nice. Not a lot of them were made and the SD versions are really rare

My brother left his 66 beaumont at my mother's house and one day she got fed up with it sitting in the garage she called a tow truck and they came and took it for free. That is a very rare car and my brother unsurprisingly hit freakin'.
Here again we have a go between a Pontiac and chev Nova, that is very rare to see, for I have seen only a few in my life but this is something that needs attention for your collection, if you need to do so. For this old Acadian Canso is a Piece of Auto history for sure and I guess I am old to remember the cars of that time .But I hope that I share my interest of cars with you..
Beautiful car, love the color, love the sound coming from exhaust. I bet you wont have this one long! Congrats on the new edition to you and the wife, enjoy your time with them, i goes so fast❤
Nick, love the videos been watching for years. I think this is the Canadian version of the Nova / Chevy II. There were a few thousand 67s registered in Canada. A very cool ride!
Good morning, I have never actually seen one of this ever, but it looks like the tail lights are the same as the 67 Ford Fairlane, but with all the work put into this build, you think they would have fixed at least the headlights situation 😊, but thanks for showing me that there is such a unique vehicle 😊
Hey Nick first things first congrats on your new baby & may God always bless you and your loved ones. Now for the car that's a very nice & rare little gem.
This was drive me crazy i've never heard of this car before it looks like a 67 November but not quite I had to look online I see that it's a Pontiac never seen one and never heard of it before
Dare to be different how often will you see one I've seen the Beaumont which is a Chevelle it had a big block but the dash was a pontiac and different trim
Did it originally come with a pontiac motor and someone changed it at some point to a chevy engine ,I love those shoe box body styles ,always wanted one ,
@@ag3nto578 it's all good I was just sharing hopefully interesting information that a lot of people, not just Americans may not know. I've been around these cars my whole life and can assure you it never crossed my mind people would still be restoring them in 2024. I was shocked Nick had one for sale down in Tennessee. Cheers.
Nice car, but am I seeing it right? Right-hand door looks out of alignment🤔. See door body line in the middle, and the left a litte too, none of my business👍, but wow low build numbers

If you are going to rely on winning the lotto to buy classics, then it means you will never accomplish that. The odds are millions against you. Best to work hard, save, don’t get in debt, and invest in a good retirement account.
@@psychomormon4932It really doesn’t require the lottery to get into classics lol. I got into them in my mid teens with beginner income, you just need to know what to look for while having a little knowledge on what increases value.

Someone brought this beauty down from Canada. These Pontiacs are a Canadian built car. It's Pontiacs chevy II THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL CAR!!
I prefer the Acadian VS chevy Nova of that year.

I love old cheap car's from back then...they gave you 4,6,or 8 cylinder options which of course would raise the price but at least you had choices.

Oh man that has to suck. Tough to understand how or why family will do things to other members that are unbelievably hurtful.
Seen a Pontiac Beaumont recently at a car show in sw Florida looks like a chevelle with a Chevy engine and some different looking trim, nice car.
Beaumont is practically a disguise Chevelle 😂
