Right after this performance the host asked Damiano on the stage if he had advice for this years's contestants and he said: "Two things..First, Have fun! Second...Don't get too close to the table!" :-p
As for the meaning of the song here is the quote:
"Supermodel speaks critically of an imaginary girl who embodies the deep materialism of those who pursue their celebrity status, doing everything to build their image and not caring about feelings, values or healthy lifestyles. The meaning of the song is therefore an attack to the hedonism of a slice of society that only cares about the appearance. The song was born during the Maneskin’s stay in Los Angeles."

I’ve watched it several time played live at festivals and the instruments sound exactly the same. It was about the superficial celebrity life they met in LA.

💥"Super" reaction Hap! I appreciate you pulling in the lyrics and parsing them out. I have seen the Official Video and it ties in with the lyrics. It is a departure for them lyrically, but they are keeping us guessing, where they go musically...keeping us on our toes, so to speak.🎶🎤🎸 They are not following a formula. Oh thanks for explaining that usually only the vocals are live on this occasion. I wasn't aware of that. But of course it makes sense. Yes, the lyrics were special and I'm used to hearing other songs and usually Damiano is a bit more agile on stage. Good thing you mentioned he wasn't in the best shape though. But hey, it's a great song with an awesome beat to jam along. Maybe they just wanted to try something different and that's fine. I'm excited to see what the future will bring. Great reaction HAP🤩🙋🏻♀️
Its a song about the live of the proms in LA. Damiano compared it with Disneyland. There is nothing "real" you are only interesting for others there, if you have to offer something (connections, fame.....), damiano don`t like this way of live, he loves fans and people which like his MUSIC and not only their their celebrity. I saw them waiting (I think it was before walking on a red carpet) with other proms and while the rest of the band talked with other, Damiano looked sooo bored and annoyed!😂
Enjoyed this and your review, Hap. I felt that musically parts of it reminded me of Santana's "Smooth" but that's probably just me, though! 😊
