Okay, it was a physical attacker all the way. Here's a dual strategy for meganium, but it's not optimal. Both mons ftr need Ghost for their tera types: Mon 1: Annihilape Ability: Defiant Held item: shell bell 252 in attack and defense, 4hp Moves: brick break, rage fist, bulk up, screech/drain punch Turn 1: break reflect and light screen with brick break. Turn 2+ alternate between rage fist & bulk up, you need the extra defenses for zen headbutt Ceruledge: Ability: can be anything Held item: something that powers up fire or ghost type attacks Evs: 252 in attack & defense, 4 hp Moves: clear smog, swords dance, bitter blade, shadow claw Strategy: alternate between swords dance & clear smog, you need to undo the curse boosts which will help Annihilape survive the hits. Swords Dance powers up Shadow Claw & Bitter Blade, Bitter Blade for recovery, and shadow claw has crit chance.
Meganium does a turn 0 Reflect & Light Screen to buff it's defenses (hence Brick Break on annihilape) It's other moves are Bulldoze (hence Defiant on annihilape), Seed Bomb, Zen Headbutt, Curse (hence Clear Smog on Ceruledge) and body press
Because of it's mixed attacking potential, the dual mew strategy i came up with takes the dual mew strategy from the mewtwo raid, and replaces Struggle Bug on one mew for Lunge Dual build strategy: (both mews held item: Metronome) First Mew: Struggle Bug, Swords Dance, Leech Life, Brick Break (for screens). This mew's job is to limit Meganium's special attack damage output, and break any screens that show up Second mew: Lunge, Swords Dance, Leech Life, Misty Terrain (for status). This mew's strategy is to limit Meganium's physical attack output, and stop moves such as: Poison Powder, Stun Spore and Sleep Powder. Othrwise the strategy is the same as the Mewtwo raid: 3 struggle bug/lunge, 3 swords dances, terastalize, and use Leech Life. (If screens show up, break them, and keep misty terrain up to stop status, any nullifications of debuff or buffs, reapply as necessary)
Knock Off does deal double damage if the target is holding an item, but doesn't remove items in raids. If it has it for coverage against Ghost types, it would be a 130 base power dark move for Ghost types. Weather Ball with sun would also cover steel and bug types, making Dark the best choice. Honchcrow would amusingly be a nice pick since its Night Slash would crit so much to ignore any scripted screens.

There was a Tera Dark charizard mystery gift last year in August I believe I will try that with belly drum instead of swords dance let’s hope meganium doesn’t get body press
It will probably know Earthquake or its other Ground attack to deal with Steel types. Otherwise its coverage is pitiful. As you mentioned in the video, I agree it may raise shields at turn 0, and I'll even say it'll throw in dual screens. (So Brick Break/Psychic Fangs?) I would usually have gone with Kingambit (Earthquake) or Decidueye (Knock-off) but both seem weak to one of Meganium’s moves… I think I would stick to Flutter Mane -> Meganium has just 0 moves against this one imo… while I could lower his Spe-atk just in case, and hit on weakness… Or maybe Grimmsnarl as a support ? He can lower both attacks, set up screens, taunt or even Fake tears his spe-def down ? Just for fun I would have loved to try Lokix as attacker, or Swadloon (Stugglebug, Lunge Screech, as a support ! If I had more time to prepare one…)
Btw in the end I used Skeledirge and Grimmsnarl - my original Decidueye was ready for back-up too Chose the easy way coz I didn’t have enough time to build a Lokix - he was on my « fun » list anyway I always build current gens « fun » Pokémon

@dansquared___ goody. During this challenge, I had an armorogue player that I ran into. The raid was a struggle. They used acid spray, had zero clear smog, and things took forever. (Many other raids like this to.) We somehow break shield. I get a topsy turvy off, and we win just barely. I find myself asking why I do this? Then, the armorogue user spams the thanks comment. It occurred to that was his first win against meganium. This raid is hard,and I probably pulled 50 plus people through for the first time. Keep helping people Danimals.
This has to be an April fools joke from the big Pikachu. Also Meganium can learn Body Press which is very worrying. For Sceptile it’s either Dragon or electric imo.

Im so worried about that raid if it comes because intimidate disrupts physical attackers, Slowbro and Armarouge gets cooked by Darkest lariat because it ignores stat changes, Flare blitz For the Common corviknights, Thunder Punch for Azumarill and other flyers, And Iron Head to demolish Fairies in general. Beware of the big cat.

If you ask me I still think the Indigo trailer remains the biggest hint. The 7* Tera Raids lineup, however, is not. It seems they are just rotating based on Gens. Hoenn, Sinnoh, Kanto starters, now Johto. The next one will likely be Alola or Unova. Meganium is a flower-themed mon, though. Possibly to celebrate the arrival of Spring in Japan.

King Gambit will take x4 damage from Body Press. That will be a one shot. I tried Meowscrada and Weavile. Both were one spotted from. Body Press.

Couldn't a Sharpness Kleavor work, it gets defog to remove screens and will get a boosted x scissor due to sharpness
