    Dude, don't worry about damn TH-cam numbers! Maybe it's not my to place say whether you should be worried with the numbers or not. You are one of the nicest, friendliest, most creative, crystal clear jazz teachers I ever met. If I ever got a chance to see your crazy harmonies performed live, that would be one of the happiest days of my life. And I'm surely not alone in this opinion. Keep up the awesome work!

    Those crazy chords in the middle have always been subject to discussion among pianists ;-) I think you got them pretty well! Good job.

    Great post Tony. It's amazing that no matter how long you have played the piano, it can still offer so many challenges. The satisfaction when mastered is enormous. Keep up the good work!!

    Avoir accès à une partition complètement écrite est une faveur incroyable et un hein de temps considérable pour travailler.
    I hope that you will often be able to propose it.
    Thank you for all.

    Super Lesson / Demonstration. I think what's happening on TH-cam is more and more people are putting out really good stuff and the algo just shifting things around. I didn't see your channel or Ken Hewitt's for a while.

    Funny thing - did you know Fender Rhodes are making a new Mark 8 electro mechanical piano here in England. I think they cost about $10.000, (Yes, 10 grand) Your sampling a cow bell set up for $5 seems to do pretty much the same thing. Great lesson as usual. you're kind of very precise on this stuff (chords & scales) but also in a very casual and interesting way if you get my meaning. (Dudley Moore music has a lot of those 4 and even 5 note "triplets". very cool I reckon). (also funny how many people say how much they're interested in music but don't want to learn or watch videos like yours. I mean, this stuff is like gold! I wanted to learn all these secrets when I was 13 years old but the information was not available here in the UK. This stuff is not that easy for me but I still love to study it and try to learn as much as I can.

      ThanksRobin. I tuned a student's piano today! Whew!...

    • @gaugeonesteam
      @gaugeonesteam 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TonyWinston Yes, piano tuning is hard work, especially grands! I find checking the beats per second on all the major 3rds and major 6ths (as well as the 4ths and 5ths and octaves) is very helpful.

    • @gaugeonesteam
      @gaugeonesteam 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TonyWinston Hey Tony, I've got a great piano tuning tip for you... If you teach students to tune pianos (without using electronic aids) use 4 tuning forks. C G D and A. The first 5ths are difficult to get right. If you have these 4 tuning forks, when you get to A to E you have a 5th reference AND a major 3rd reference with C also, (10.5 beats per second) which is much easier to hear). Then E to B with major 3rd G, etc.etc. (In my experience customers don't like electronic aids, they think it's cheating)

    Just one little thing, I think this style of playing comes from afro cuba. latin makes me think of the dead roman language.
