Better to clean and/or replace the blue removable one! Next time there won't be one that easy to do this. Cheap part, just maybe a hassle to find the part.
Thank you for your video. I removed the hose and found that the hose filter was filthy (the good thing is that it prevented the valve to get dirty) Thank you again!
You have very informative vids. Why did you remove and not replace the filter on the hot side? Will this interfere with operations of machine in the future?
There’s another filter right behind the little one that was removed that will work just as well. A little bit of redundancy on LG’s part. You can always clean the little filter and put it back in and it should work fine.
Dont clean ever try cleaning water valves just replace them. "Cleaning" them will cause debris to get stuck in the plunger inside the valve which might cause a flood later on.
@@ScottTheFixItGuyChanneldang. Got a brand new washer that works great, have well water ( i hate a septic tank and well water!!!!) And suddenly it starts flashing C4 and stuck. Hubby came home, took OUT the 2 screens Im like wtf I know it needs that part! Hes like oh itll be fine, theres still another 1 in there..but I want my cleaned tiny screens put back in so heres another pissy bitching session. Thanks for listening! Hope my washer still cleans good...

Thank you that was super helpful!
Great vid it helped me out so much 💯❤️💯❤️
My cold water side was clogged like this and I did the same thing but now I can’t get the water to stop flowing in unless I turn the valve off
Time for a new cold water valve.

Can you use the machine without the screens ?
It’s better to have the screens in place so that little pieces of scale or dirt don’t get pushed into the inlet valve.
