How to Rejuvenate Springs in Old Sagging Couch Cushions Dropping No Support Fix Repair Replace Mend. Here I had a section of the couch that was dropping or bottoming out. They don't make couches like they did in the old days. The springs are nothing special now a days and they will need retightening and replacing if you want to keep your couch around. The funny thing is it;'s easy to do and they make it seem like it would be difficult. You can mend it on your own and although it won't be as good as new how I do it here it will be way better than nothing. I spring replacement would probably be best but this will get you along for a while.

They only hold up a short while when you do that. I'm most likely going to run a middle set between there and leave them as well
