I use RMS products as makeup. Love them. Really work for my skin, the coconut oil doesn’t worsen my combination-hormonal-breakout issues. However, I disagree with Rose-Marie about using natural skincare. I used natural skincare brands for years throughout my 30’s and they never addressed my congestion and breakout issues, and dehydration/dullness (and YES, I address internally also through diet etc too!) Things got worse, and eventually I went for brands like Biologique Recherche and Drunk Elephant, incorporating acids and retinols and well formulated hydration serums/peptides etc. And my skin literally transformed within a month or two. If I had normal, problem-free skin that just needed basic, simple stuff, then I’d go natural all the way! There are amazing brands out there. But for my issues, just needed something more! Love Rose-Marie and her brand. I look forward to the day when all I need is her oil and makeup for my skin! 😂
She meant to say avoid products that have water as one of the first ingredients (meaning one of the main ingredients). Because water spoils easily and once you use water in a formulation you need to introduce preservatives (to prevent spoilage) and emulsifiers (to obtain an emulsion texture) which aren't good for the skin.
Hi Rose Marie, are you the same Rose Marie that was married to Pete (i forget his last name & don't remember it being Swift) way back in the day in the early 80's & sold the "Rose Marie Collection" of mink oil products from Charlotte, N.C. We bought mink oil products from them years ago & they were the best & over the years we lost touch with them & my sister was trying to find their info but had no luck & wanted me to try to find something out for her I have tried to find info on them & i am also not having any luck but you are the closest name i can find anywhere that is Rose Marie.......are you the same one? But yeah i don't know how much you know about her but back in the 80's (my time) she was very active with skin care & her & her husband Pete Monroe had a business called '"We Care" & her main objective was mink oil for your skin & boy was it the best. I've seen my mother give many facials to her friends & EVERYONE of them swore by it & my sister asked me about it the other day & said she couldn't find anything on them & then i tried & had the same unfortunate results so thank you again & i will try instagram. She is (was) saying "food grade" synthetic colors - but now we know that those are just as toxic! Just because something is 'approved' or "deemed safe" does not make it so. And "natural" is not NATURAL if it has synthetics in it. I love Rose-Marie, ... I adore her spirit and vibrance - but I will have to disagree on the safety of some of these ingredients. All sulfates in every form are toxic.
