I'm glad you said this. I have no idea what I'm doing as far as video editing goes, but I do put a great deal of effort in pairing music with segments and including timing elements to make it feel like a movie in some ways. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy it.
Just came back from an all night long party, I saw the notofication and got myself ready to watch the next epusode of the greatest netflix series of all time - A nomad tale. Big love from Poland
This series is great, I found it due to a reference to it from Corvette to Cynabal series discord. Love watching the solo gameplay and awesome narration. I heard that it was still going, keep up the great work!
Really been enjoying this series. At first I was mostly interested in the wh stuff, as I haven't dived into whs much myself, but I found myself simply watching the beautiful footage and enjoy the ride. Anoikis really is a pretty place. Good stuff!
It's funny, because I feel similarly. I started off thinking this was going to be entirely about the nitty-gritty. But I, like you, have come to appreciate the small stuff along the way. In some ways, the roses are more important than the gold. Thanks for tagging along and leaving comments, @Spitelol. I'm proud to provide you with some content (I think we're up to what, 6 hours worth now?!).
@@chloroken I enjoy rewatching these, so more lol. Looking forward to the next release, and maybe I'll even come across you in j-space, as I have also started diving in on occasion. o7
49:25 you can actually check contracts in anoikis, you just have to remove the checkbox for "gate-to-gate routes only" at the bottom of the contracts window
Congrats on the Praxis kill! Building up ISK reserves is always a struggle, but as you said in an earlier episode, it is a goal to keep you going if nothing else. Looking forward to next episode!
Regarding your scan deviation spiel, if I recall correctly every time you get a ring/line result the signature is at the point furthest away from the center of your probe formation.
I'm going to start paying attention to this now that you've mentioned it. It makes complete sense as I read your words, but clearly I never picked up on the shortcut. And boy, do we love shortcuts. Thank you!
hah - nice - i knew it was the case for the line (Wth two points) but didnt know about the ring. Nice one, thanks - every day is a learning day in eve :)
Yeah that guy hits blinged golems in Funtanainen fairly often. I used to run missions out there with mine and landed on station as soon as he popped one once, that's freaky for sure.
I was a member of Hard Knocks Inc (the dedicated PVP corp) a couple of years back, and I can tell you that even in our krab (or bear) holes, you are dealing with proficient and experienced wormhole veterans. Unless you catch one guy multiboxing and in the middle of farming escalations, you should tread carefully.
Thank you for this series - I just hopped back into eve after a veeeery long absence and since I never was that proficient in it anyway (being basically a pure mission runner back in the day) your videos are great to learn new stuff and take a look at content that I have never experienced myself - yet :) Keep up the great work!
Thank you very much. You'll be pleased to learn that I've discovered the magic of contemporary 'tracking' features in video editors. We're in for some super snazzy fight sequences in the future.
Whoa, that was fast! I like how you guys immediately called my bluff with the blackmailing. I was hoping to snatch some footage of me talking my way into a few hundred mil, but that clearly wasn't your first rodeo. I missed what happened with the Astrahus, but from what I can tell it looked like Fraternity came and fought the bomber squad off? Were they brought in, or? Either way, fun stuff all around. You got your Astrahus, and I got my roller kill. Win win. :D
@Kirb The only footage I got of the Astrahus was of my seed dying. It's included in the video. Edit: I even asked Of Sound Mind if they would mind providing me footage of it, but I think because they got chased off they didn't save the recording. No idea, though. But to be clear, I didn't batphone anybody or share the seed. I reached out to one WH corp to see if they'd be interested, but they never got back to me. The parties that showed up were completely independent of my shenanigans.
@43:25 : I might be wrong (and if so, I'm sorry), but it sounds like you are not familiar with Katia Sae. If you don't know about this character, you should check her out and the reason why there is a monument to her. Very inspiring stuff for players who love exploration ;-)
Yes I know basically zero lore. Will read about it now. Edit: Did some reading, I had definitely heard about the pilot who hit all the systems but didn't realize this was the same one! How cool. Thank you for helping me understand this nice piece of EVE lore, Kurenoo!
The best thing about Loki is flown well it has the option to disengage. Like space ballet back when nanos on everything but not quite as good as it used to be. With Proteus, it's a one way street. No mistakes if anything has a web which is guaranteed to get you unless you're pussy footing around with a drone fit, which is no slouch either. You gotta kill your way out most of the time before the help arrives. When you do it's friggen awesome. Nowadays, so long as yr not podded as well, losing a T3C doesn't seem that big a deal. Like a nicely kitted out T1 battleship which -- woah, them prices.
No one touches my travel fit orca and I run a shield fit only with 80% Omni tank resist, I run Sheild at 80000 hp and shield regen at 3500hp per 3.4s carrying well in excess of 1.5 billion cargo.
thanks for the content... quick question :) the fight at 31.30 against the rat, in which direction are you moving? they are not gaining at you but you are constantly applying damage.. are you using some kind of sniper build or is it a kite build? Could u share a bit on that topic? Your series (i think) is especially great for newbros like me haha
Hi, sorry I'm late. In that fight against the rat, I'm using Heavy Assault Missiles and keeping my distance manually by aligning towards an arbitrary point. The missiles apply nearly-regardless of direction. :)
A seed is a throwaway character that sits inside of a wormhole system that can "scan its way out," allowing you to find your way back in at your leisure with your main character.
No disrespect intended! I lived in null for many years, I know very well that engaging wormholers is often a waste of time. Thanks for checking the video out. 😄
I totally believe it! But I think I was directing my advice at people with single accounts (like the retriever guy). Since, by virtue of having a single account, it's not going to be well-watched. But your comment has certainly inspired me to look at the numbers further. I've seen setups like Porpoise+Covetor+Venture before and have always been a bit curious. Thanks for checking the video out and the tip about the numbers.
Thank you for that great content :) Important question which you can hopefully help out with. I really like your playstyle and will try to copy it somewhere in the future once i got back into the game again (properly that is). However I would like already to start preparing for it. Especially running alts/twinks takes some time to get them prepared for it. What would you suggest in how to train my alts? what skills and knowledge should i put them into their queue already? I assume mining is something which ideally all alts can do, but what else? Especially with an eye on the future and creating income from them to pay for their/mine omega status (i am happy to buy 1x but not multiple times heeh) cheers!
Yeah, so these are really broad questions that I couldn't hope to help answer in a format like TH-cam comments. You can drop by the discord and ask these questions and I'm sure people will help you out. The link is in the TH-cam banner if you're interested in that - if not, no worries, I know that Discord isn't for everyone and I can try to get in contact with you some other way. Otherwise, I want to emphasize that learning the game from the ground up is a really special experience that we only get to have one time. So, just because you're clueless or overwhelmed about how to allocate your alts now, doesn't mean you have to have someone necessarily guide you through it. I encourage you to use your judgment and formulate a basic plan - and then refine that plan with outside input, instead of the other way around. It will be more personally satisfying in the end.
