I love Neil and the way he and David love each other and their kids. That kiss at the end of the video almost made me cry. I love the fact that they are so humble and they're just a normal family. I think it's hard for some people knowing that their once favorite actor or actress is gay. It breaks my heart because being a 14 year old middle school student, I constantly hear people refferring to things they don't like as gay and it breaks my heart. I will always love Neil's and David's family. XD
to all the rude people who are watching these video: firstly, they're brave and amazing for what they're doing and being "gay" is not a choice. it's how you're were wired and you can't choose how it is. the only "choice" they have is if they should come out or not and if you should proceed to say they shouldn't and just stay in the closet, then I would say you have a one tracked mind that's leading you down a cold and cruel path because you'd rather someone lie and be unhappy with themselves and insecure in their own skin than someone to tell the truth, embrace who they are and have a happy life. now you're saying that the fact that someone likes someone from the same gender and/or both or whatever it may be can affect your view on them? they're still the same people. they have not "changed". they aren't suddenly monsters. all that's changed is that you know them for who and what they really are. "I've lost respect for neil" then perhaps you need a reality check. if you've lost respect from someone simply because of their sexual orientation and that it's "unnatural", it's pathetic. and it is natural because it WAS not "created". and is loving another human being, that much of an issue? I understand the fact that having a family with parents of the same gender could be a rather uneasy thought, but think about it. most straight marriages end up in divorces and parents are regularly fighting, and most of the time, the children are getting love from ONE parent. I'm not saying this is majority, but I'm saying that is in fact a very common problem. You would rather have a child being raised in an unhappy and possibly abusive "straight" home that lacks love instead of a home where both parents are happy and raising they children in a positive environment that provides much love to the children simply because the parents are of the same gender? Think about it. I'm not sayin you NEED to be a supporter of the LGBTQ community, but I'm saying that perhaps you could just try to understand and accept them for who they are and refrain from hating on them since technically they are harming you in anyway. I'm just saying "stop the insults" you don't have to encourage LGBTQ but at least don't put it down. that's all I ask, for just a little piece of your heart and that you TRY to understand. Being gay doesn't change anything other than the fact that you're attracted to the same sex. What difference does it make if they're gay? Right. Thanks for the link. Pretty unusual conception process for me anyway. So both kids have the SAME mother and each of two eggs from her was fertilized, one by David and the other by Neil. Which, according to Neil, makes the babies FRATERNAL twins. I'm confused 'cause their still not full siblings. One of them would say, "You're my half brother and the other would say, "You're my half sister". Huh. Ok. Anyway, God bless them and the kids! :-)
