    I love the Walls... Been there as a day hike to Solomon's Throne. The vegetation, the tarns, the wallabies, everything was just stunning. It is quite a way, first to get to the car park and then the elevation gain (more than 1000 m of vertical gain) but definitely worth it. I was in Tassie for 11 days, and picked the only full sunny day for this hike. You could see all the way to Cradle mountain. One of my best memories of Australia.

      Ah, thank you. Yeah, I think it's important we all do our part to preserve at least what's left of the Earth. It's also great to see the track works going ahead so more people can appreciate the area.

    Hey mate! Recently I found your channel and I'm really enjoying your vids. I did The Walls in March 2021 and it is one of my favourite spots on the planet. Keep up the good work.
    Cheers 👍

      Thanks Mate. Really glad you're enjoying my videos. I love The Walls too - still one of my favorite spots to hike. I see you've made some videos too. Well done and keep them coming.

    Love this view of the Tasmanian mountain nature and terrain. It was nice to see the updates on Instagram when you were out there. This video however tells the full story and really shows how amazing the Jerusalem wall and Adelaide Lake area is. Thanks for the hiking tips!

      Hey Jeremy. Thanks for the comment. Yeah, I'm pretty proud of my opening - a new intro technique I thought I'd try, which I got the idea from other TH-cam-hikers. I might stick with it. I hope you can get to the Walls with Carla one day. And yeah, let me know if there's any hiking things you'd like me to cover :)

    Great footage and a lovely place!
    just tip with food and cookware try to lock it away or hang it up where they can't get to it, you don't want brush tails possums or rats, mice popping, weeing in you mess kit.

    • @AlainStewart
      @AlainStewart  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, the rangers mentioned that toilets are going in at Lake Adelaide Campground. I look forward to visiting again to see the finished work.
