Misconceptions of a young carer

There are often misconceptions around the term ‘young carer’ and what that might entail for a young person, which can make being a young carer hard in school and around peers. With the right knowledge and ideas of what a young carer does for their family, everyone around them is able to help them in small ways to manage their responsibilities at home and at school.
