I am following this series (watching and re-watching) alongside reading Nietzsche's Thus Spoke Zarathustra, what an experience!

The idea of eternal overcoming has scared away many men, the reader could become swamped by the cold abyss that can't be conquered. This could destroy people, do you think that happened to NIetzsche in his last years? Stimulating course on Nietzsche, thanks for this free resource!

When we take a risk and rise to a challenge we feel it. Are we not just being influenced by hormones or neurotransmitters changing proportionally within our bodies? Is it not still a judgement that risk is better than security? Can we not experience both and value neither as superior to the other? Or is the thought that it is better to experience both just another value?

The general view of society would lean on the side of security, and the questioning of this view is a manifestation of the spirit of the lion.

Lol, my last comment was from my iphone while I was on my six mile walk using text to speech. Anyway what I was trying to say is your analogy of National Socialism and Nietzsche's writings are in error. The National Socialist movement does not fit comfortably into your definition. Watch this: tv.gab.com/channel/tamedamen/view/sacred-oath-honor-yours-60c398c4534ad51ae481ed81 Thank you.

Good lectures however your perceptions of national socialism are shallow. I believe you are a pro National Socialist by the ending delivery of this 8th lecture
