Prof Dodson, I listen to your lectures and I am always filled with awe and gratitude that you make these difficult concepts in Heidegger so much more accessible to the ordinary person like me! Thank you for your graciousness and magnanimity in making this available to us.

Thank you so much Eric! I recently started a philosophy masters and a big reason for that was your intro to Existentialism videos. These videos are a welcome addition and also fill a gap on TH-cam between summaries and Dreyfus’s 28hr lecture course. Laurie, UK

My goodness, you're a great lecturer. I'm currently reading 'Being and Nothingness' and honestly I want to put it down and pick up Heidegger because of this lecture. He sounds very interesting!

May be a year later but I really appreciate you doing these lectures. I'm just getting into this but it's very helpful for me to have people like you willing to give good info without the need for likes and fame (no offense)

Nice lecture, but it sounds a bit paradoxical hearing that Heidegger had insights with regards to how and why of genocides in history. Heidegger himself was a nazi who actively supported Hitler's regime. and never regretted it until his last days.
