I guess Bass.exe isn't a fan of the head part...
The sprite work is amazing!
No way that X can *"SURAIDINGU!, SURAIDINGU!"*
looking great so far, really liking the spritework! also, not sure if anyone's said this yet but it's really bugging me, is the dash sound effect intentional? it uses the stopping sound from x8 rather than the starting sound
Does X actually have a dash AND a slide? That's the first time I have seen somebody do this.
The slide will be a Swift Armor ability

That "Ok. Tsk..." makes me laugh.
That awkward moment when you - as the composer - realize you provided the dev with an incorrect audio export.

Niceeeeeee adding the hovering as an basic ability to x like the air dash is a great addition... It shows that x does get upgrades from old armours and thats amazing 👌👌

But in all seriousness... An air dash after hovering! That's dope 😎😎

The only complain I have is that X's standing sprite looks kinda too short in my opinion... I think it should be one or maybe two pixels higher (I'd say one for the thighs and one for the arms since they look too short in my opinion... It barely can be distinguished from the idle sprites, also I think the arm should be hidden a little bit more by thw body when X is standing.
But the rest is amazing
I can't wait to see Zero's triple slash animation ❤

I love the sprite work. You made all of them yourself? You used Aseprite, GraphicsGale, ProMotion NG, MS Paint, or something similar law to make them?
Bass Armor? Hilarious especially with the Tsk.
I love the little details of the X8 enemies and Metal currency. I wonder if there’s a shop for buying upgrades too.
By the way is it only X and Zero at the moment? Any plans for Axl in the future?

I like the music it’s like you combined snes with actual non compressed music. It’s like almost a fusion between the snes and the later games

Why are the feet plain black with the leg parts on? it looks as if X had no armor covering the feet. Btw, awesome project. Keep it up ;)
Good video, I think the capsule needs more explaination on each body parts and also the X HUD too. He needs an update when he obtain the armor on a head
Well, it certainly will, it lacks the sound of the capsule at the end and the armor animation appearing.

I know the story will get after X8 and address post-MM era with Bass's involvement. However, I was wondering if this game gonna address Next-Gen Reploids production, since X8 ending confirmed its continuation.

Is this a traditional megaman x game or similar to MMZ or MMZX or is this some sort of an open world or metroidvania style?
I'm seeing a bit of a mess with the collection system. The parts blink out when X does his celebratory pose. That might need some touching up

I like this, but the capsule does take too long to give you the armor part. Half the time probably would be good.
