And I want both, so there’s this fine line, think heat levels should determine that, like the low levels should be fun but as you get higher they should become scarier.
NFS Most Wanted will always be the most fun. I was playing Unbound last night and I was just thinking that pursuit breakers would be amazing with the destruction of the frostbite engine.
On rival it seems you dont know that ESF disable the EMP and when you are in chase you can engage in head to head race with other driver and he gonna help you get through he make the cop go after him same as you heat splited and he gonna fight back with his weapon too it help a lot believe me.

In my opinion I would love a 1 Minute Cooldown on Gaz stations. Even 30 seconds would help. It dosen't help with the quality of the NA servers, players are lagging in and out, we need a cooldown
NFS MW 2005 is the best police system in video game history they’re not overly aggressive it’s the cops intelligence to work in groups and catch on to patterns you drive if you keep driving the same way they call ahead letting helicopters and road blocks set up ahead with spike strips you had to drive smart in that game to escape it was the closest police chase system to real life we ever got in a video game
yeah 😂 very real. some times they kill themself hitting purusuit brakers all over the damn place. and they hitting every single npc car on the damn road lmao. and some crown victoria can keep up with a tuned murcialago.
NFS Heat cops were so easy to escape in heat 5, I completed every event every night every time I went night mode, I would’ve liked them to be way more challenging but sometimes they were slightly hard to escape
The health system in general just takes the fun away from police chases. I absolutely love getting swarmed by so many cops, no matter how unrealistic it is, no matter how much they end up stacking on top of each other because yes, Need for Speed World can be wild. Regardless, I would love for them to remove health
In Rivals, there are two variations of roadblocks: spikes and vehicles. Sometimes, both. Level 4 roadblock that are vehicles only are difficult to dodge. Also, you can enter hideout anytime, even midchase.
My one gripe with NFS Heat's chases was that whenever you made contact with another car, no matter whether it was you or them who came off worse, you always lost health, putting essentially a limit on how lomg you could keep going. Most Wanted '05 not having a health system was part of what made it so good I reckon, it was all your own driving.
Something that I don't like about Heat, is how the cop is like the absolute here. They can damage you, but you can't really damage them. Unbound kinda fix this, but the cop is also a bit easier, so yeah.... MW, Hot Pursuit is so far my favorite, just because I can fight back the cops
Personally, Rivals has my favourite cops overall. It felt like a good balance of high risk high reward, easy to be taken out yet entirely possible to fight back on par with them. And it made sense for the setting and story of that game, just how chaotic it could get. That said, do still enjoy the cops in Most Wanted '05 a lot, and Heat fun and quite agressive but not so chaotic.
That's because the Heat Level System on NFS Undercover is more like a probability rate to be chased by Tri-City Bay cops. Unlike in the NFS MW 2005/NFS Carbon duology, the Heat Level is tied to the Wheelman Level and the game progression. Which means your car can be Heat Level 1 more BUT Heat Level 5 cops can still appear either way. Hence the reason why you're being chased by Porsches.
Dude like literally I freaked out when I saw the Porsches in my low heat level while playing Undercover. I was like WTF and they we're considered as Federal Cruisers lmaooo
