के आप इतिहास की सबसे ख़राब टीम ( २०१४ - २०१५) बन जाओ - ये हे उसकी कहानी
पंजाब किंग्सकी कहानी बस एक अपमान और ज़िल्लत भरी दास्तान हे
बड़े प्लेयर्स (प्लेयर्स) होने के बावजूद
हर बार पॉइंट्स टेबल (points Table ) के बॉटम पर
इसलिए फिर उन्होंने 2014 मे
दो प्लायर्स को छोड़कर अपनी पूरी टीम को निकाल दिया
और जॉर्ज बैली के अन्डर एक नई टीम बनाई गई
ऑस्ट्रेलियन प्लायर्स glenn maxwell (ग्लेन मैक्सवेल ) shaun marsh और mitchell johnson (मिचेल जॉनसन ) को खरीदा गया
david miller ( डेविड मिलर) तो थे ही और virender sehwag ( सेहवाग ) को दिल्ली से लाया गया
याने वही Top heavy explosive बैटिंग टीम जिसका Formula इसके पहले हर एक बार Flop ही हुवा था
पर उस साल की बैटिंग लाइन उप ( line - up ) का तेहेलका कुछ ऐसा था की
17 matches मे से 8 matches मे उन्होंने 190 के ऊपर स्कोर किया था
इसलिए भले ही आखिरकार किंग्स 11 finals मे हार गयी
उस season ने हर किंग्स ११ फैन (Fan ) के दिल में उम्मीद की एक किरण जगा दी
की Finally आने वाला साल उनके टीम का
सिंहासन पर बैठने का साल होगा
पर हुआ तो कुछ और ही
2015 के IPL ( Indian Premier League ) के auction मे
कुछ नए rules थे
गए साल के बचे पैसे
उसपर 3 crore extra
और जो players release होते उनकी salary टीम budget मे add
पर फिर किंग्स ११ ने पैसे होने के बावजूद,जगह होने के बावजूद
१९ प्लेयर्स retain कर लिए - एक opener, एक uncapped wicketkeeper ek All rounder खरीदा और किसी भी बॉलर ( bowler ) जो उसकी वीकनेस ( weakness ) थी उससे ख़रीदे बगैर घर चले गए
इसके मुक़ाबले चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स ( Chennai super kings - CSK ) जब जब २nd आयी तब तब उन्होंने कई स्वीपिंग Changes kiye
यहाँ तक के गए साल के चैंपियंस ( champions ) कोलकत्ता नाइट राइडर्स ( kolkatta knight riders - KKR ) ने भी सिर्फ १५ प्लेयर्स ही retain किये थे
और ये सब क्यों तो
उनके overseas प्लायर्स के वर्ल्ड कप २०१५ ( World Cup 2015 )में performance को देखकर
उन्होंने अपनी गए साल की Strategy पर जोर डालकर
कोई भी change नहीं किया
खास करके जब ऑस्ट्रेलिया वो वर्ल्ड कप जीत गयी
तब किंग्स 11 पंजाब रातो रात अपने desicions के बल पर
ipl जीतने के लिए फैव्रट ( favorite ) बन गई थी
पर फिर हुई वो दुर्घटना
जब जब कोई भी टीम वर्ल्ड कप जीतती हैं
तब तब उनका performance पूरी तरह down हो जाता हैं
ये २००३ के चैंपियंस
६ महीने तक undefeated रही उस ऑस्ट्रेलियन टीम का भी हुआ था
२००७ के उस वर्ल्ड चैंपियन ( world Champion ) के साथ भी
और 2011 की अपनी भारतीय team का भी
पेहेले west indies में हार
फिर england मे जाके whitewash
क्यूंकि वर्ल्ड कप खेलना जीतना
mentally और physically exhausting है.
उतना ही relaxing है, उसे जीतने से मिलने वाली ख़ुशी
और जब आप वर्ल्ड कप खतम होने के 10 दिनों के अंदर
ipl शुरू होना था - बिना किसी Proper ब्रेक के
तब उन वर्ल्ड कप विनिंग टीम के प्लेयर्स का क्या हाल हिना था?
फिर वो टॉप स्कोरर (Top Scorer ) steven smith ( स्टेवन स्मिथ ) हो
david warner ( डेविड वार्नर )
aaron finch हो या johnson
इसलिए फिर जब पंजाब ऐसे प्लेयर्स से भरी टीम लेकर
IPL पोहोची
तब जो उनका हश्र हुआ
जिसने रिकॉर्ड (record ) बनके रख दिए

वैसे ही फॉर्म में खेल रहेA.B.Devilleiers को RCB ने जट से प्रमोट कर - एक legend में तब्दील कर दिया
जिससे वो बड़े बड़े Margins से हारते रहे
CSK के सामने 97 runs से हर
delhi daredevils (दद) के सामने 118 पर all out और 13 overs और 9 wickets से हार गए थे
और फिर
royal challengers bangalore - RCB के सामने 226 का target और 88 पर all आउट
जो आज भी Highest losing margin मे rank 4 पर है
जिससे अंत मे - किंग्स की वो टीम
IPL इतिहास की सबसे ख़राब NRR वाली टीम बनने में कामयाब होगयी
है २००८ के deccan chargers, इनसे एक match कम जरूर जीते थे
पर फिर भी वो नरर में कई ऊपर थे- और कोई रेन करटैलेड मैच नहीं हुई थी
याने पंजाब टीम इतिहास की सबसे ख़राब टीम बन गयी थी

So what i can understand is, that RCB, DC and PBKS have not won anything till 2023 because of poor decisions of team management, particularly keeping their bowling weak, dropping in form players etc, and whenever they have had good bowling RCB 2009, PBKS 2014, DC 2012&2020 they have played finals (one step away), only exception being RCB 2016 which was all about amazing and miraculous batting by Virat Kohli
But atleast rcb nd dc have shown some positivity here nd there by qualifying but pbks have always disappointed there fans in those 10 years
RCB is not a failure as a franchise. Punjab doesn't have an identity.

Many Fanbases claims that they are the "Most loyal fanbase"(You know whom I'm talking about), but in my opinion Punjab has the most LOYAL fanbase in IPL history.
CSK, MI, KKR, even SRH, RR and GT has won the IPL.
RCB has Virat Kohli, remove Kohli their 90% fanbase will vanish in a day.
DC, LSG are decent teams doing good in recent years.

I have been a loyal hardcore fan of punjab for the last 12 years , I dont even watch other team matches or sometimes not even the final, as soon as punjab matches are over ,ipl is over for me too
We have always suffered from poor management decisions and terrible terrible bad luck
Like seriously, people are noticing this year that we lose with bare margins , this has been a phenomenon for like previous 6 seasons . We always have had a great team on paper but they have been disappointing or not as cohesive as they should be on the field .
Still as a big fan I have had many great memories , there matches always give me tension for no reason

I think MI tank this season because of all the non cricketing reasons. Politics of captaincy of Indian T20 team, seniors big ego clash with Hardik pandya, management was weak at handling Rohit removal from captaincy, T20 WC.
I agree Mi deserves this season to make such a video but the problem with it is that there will be a lot of speculation and rumours than giving cricketing reasons why MI failed this season.
In simple terms management did the absolute best to assemble the quality team on paper but that team couldn't perform because of internal politics, seniors ego, greed Team Environment was toxic, No one respected and accepted Hardik as captain.

Kxip Punjab hasn’t become worst team ever after 2014,it was, it is undoubtedly the worst team ever of IPL since 2008.According to your analysis this should be the worst season for SRH after they bought Patcummins,Travis head as players and appointed Vettori as coach right after winning World Cup, but so far it’s their best season,after 3 bad seasons and they broke so many records this year no team has ever bounced backed this well. The problem with punjab is they don't trust small names and don't believe in grooming players, plus they never have plan b
Atharva Taide, Prabhsimran, Shashank, Ashutosh, Harpreet these are great uncapped players but PBKS never trusted them properly. Bairstow failed a lot of times same as Livingstone and Rabada but played almost all matches whereas Nathan Ellis hardly given 1 match.

I think everythjng looks easy in hindsight. Although I dont defent losses especialy for Punjab Kjngs it was the only season when the performed their best and it is alsk a very stong notion that when you win, keep the winning team intact.
