I did a full backtest from Feb 2023-Dec 2023 using GU & EU at the same time risking 2% with full closure at 1.25R, trading London & NY. I finished at 192k 68% win rate roughly. The data was unbelievable, I collected a lot of variables and found that most trades went to a minimum of 1.5, the runners to over 2.5, and certain news days like NFP I nearly had a 100% loss rate. I’m backtesting 2022 now with 75% at 1.5R, move to BE with runner to liquidity & implementing rules such as no trading on NFP, interest rate day, FOMC or if price has pushed up in one steep leg before the silver bullet (400 points EU or 600 points GU) then I skip that SB.
Hey, Can I contact you to talk about this strat ? In my back test on EUR/USD NAS and GOLD, on a 100k acc 2023 all were insanely good 60k return average 2022 All poor results ( a lot of negative months) 2021 only EURUSD had a good results (50k return) In my study case EURUSD has the best results on that, altough you have to consider that with comissions the 0.75R has to be moved to 1R. The 2022 year makes-me a little fearful.. might it be because of the war ? ..
I'd love to see this with your conservative .75 tp strategy. I actually believe that you couldmake more money because you would've probably not lost those 2 accounts.
Thank you for your comment. Yes, you are right if I were using that risk management strat I dont think I would have lost those accounts but I don't think I would get as much in payouts in such a short time. This all comes down to the individual and there risk tolerance.
I would love that as well. A side by side testing the same days and trades. Paper trade one and backtest the other maybe. 0.75/1 & 1.5:1. Anyway great video. Thanks brotha
Always great to see a different perspective and new style! But as the same strategy was not able to perform well on 2022 but it did on 2023, is it work to do that same? And if possible can I have the access of the same excel sheet? As I want to do the same back testing again with GU and the same way how you did it!!! Please
Thank you for your comment. I am in the process of backtesting 2022. It has not been too bad so far. I am only at the end of March so far. I am using my less aggressive version where I take 75% off at 0.75.
Hey, first of all thanks for such quality content. I have a question, why have you shifted to GBPUSD? If i'm not wrong i have seen your videos using this strategy on EURUSD but now it's GBPUSD,so can you please tell the reason? I'm guessing this strategy performs better at GBPUSD than EURUSD as i have noticed it too, especially from last couple of months. So if that's the case can you just confirm it? And even if there's another reason, would love to know. It would be really helpful if you can reply, thanks a lot really appreciate your work!
Thank you for the comment and glad you are enjoying the content. I trade this strategy on EURUSD, GBPUSD, NAS100 and S&P. I have done the most backtesting on EURUSD, followed closely by GBPUSD. I will sometimes watch all and see which one has the best-looking setup, then trade that. If you are just starting though I would suggest just sticking to one. If you prefer EURUSD then stick to that, as long as you have done backtesting for that pair and have gotten used to how it moves.
This can work, but I prefer an external break. When the fractal breaks work they can give good R:R, so it would be worth testing with a slightly higher R:R.
Thank you for your comment. think I answered this in one of my shorts. Once you have dropped down to the 1 min chart, the external ChoCh is definitely stronger.
Would you recommend GU over EU ? Have been following since the first SB video and watched till today so I have seen you traded on EU on previous video and now GU
Thanks for your comment. The strategy is the same, just the risk management is slightly different. I wanted to test this to see how it would fair with prop firms. Go a little more aggressive and see what the return is like over a longer time. I still use the 75% at 0.75 on my personal account.
Why did you change the TP1 from 0.75% to 1.50%? I am currently backtesting in june 2023, but there are a lot of losses. I am trading NY time (UTC-5) between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Is this the same as you?
Thank you for your comment. I was testing a more aggressive version of the strategy in terms of management. The idea is that I will look at doing one challenge aggressively and another less aggressively. Yes, this is the same as I trade. I got an increase of 5.1% for June so not too bad. I only had 8 viable trades though. I think sometimes people will take trades that I would not based on my rules and this is where our results are different.
@@BlueEdgeForex Thanks for your reply. My bad, i was backtesting EU in june 2023. Quite a losing streak there, which one do you prefer? Or do you do both (2 per day)?
And do you consider previous buy/sell side liquidity as invalid if it's already been broken before? And my last question: What if it takes buy/sell side liquidity like 5 minutes before 10:00 AM, is it valid?
@@bryanvandehoef740 The main difference it's knowing the external structure and where the LQ resides, it comes with time, he already knows it well, and by the time I hope you to!
Thank you for your comment. In this test, I was going quite aggressive and risking 3% per trade, so my lot sizes were much bigger than the 1 lot you are talking about.
Thank you for your comment. When I trade on challenges I will look at news only very close to my setup. The backtest is just an indicator of the overall performance of the strategy over a long period of time.
Just be careful with FTMO because they going to sent you an email saying that you risking too much or just close you account if you going to pass too quickly
Thank you for your comment. I am not sure I have heard of them closing accounts because of passing quickly. I think 3% risk is ok. It is when traders are risking 5 - 10% on one trade just hoping for the best. Once I start I can be the test for this.
They are going to ask you to trade with 0.5%~1% risk. But they will give you many chances to adjust the risk amount. And tell you when it is a final notice.

I have seen multiple times that, when price sweeps RIGHT before silver bullet time, you can count that as a part of the strategy and look for choch
Just started and it’s super overwhelming much love brother!🙏🏻❤️
Thank you for your comment and good luck 👍
i used this trade strategy in gold and its awesome. made 200 bucks last night
Oh cool, I might have to give it a try. Thanks.
Pls can u recommend the indicator you use for the silver bullet??? In Trading View. Thanks... I'll be waiting for your reply...
Thanks for your comment. I use the Liquidity Levels indicator by Sonarlab
@@BlueEdgeForex ok, thanks... appreciate... I can start my backtest now
Great video ❤ taught me alot
I have a question too , what if price sweep the liquidity just before our silver bullet hour started ?
If it is just before you can still trade it. Ensure you back-test these scenarios to check if you are happy to trade them in live conditions.

I joined fxreplay but I don't know how to set up indicators for silver bullet can you make a video on how you setup your fx replay please
Thank you for your comment. I could look into doing this 👍
Do you have a link to your spreadsheet in the video?
At the moment we do not as this is only available to members, but if you pause the video on the sheet it should be very easy to copy.
can you please show us your liquidity levels on the fx reply, the style as well
Please share the journaling spreadsheet. It looks good...
Thank you for r your comment and query. We are looking into this and will update soon.
This is really very helpful.. Sir can you share you prop firm challenge tracker? thanks
Thank you for your comment. I will definitely share my progress.
Would be great if that silver bullet/liquidity indicator in fx replay can be copied into tradingview
I know. I have asked them a few times now, with no luck.
That’s a bummer. great video tho! Thanks

When you go to the 1min would you call breaking a fractal high or low as a change of character??
This can work, but I prefer an external break. When the fractal breaks work they can give good R:R, so it would be worth testing with a slightly higher R:R.
Yall should look into TJR’s 1of1funding prop firm & do a review

every time i back test that strategy i get destroyed, it baffles me how you always win.
Sorry to hear that. I am thinking of doing another backtest video, maybe this will help.
How about a longer test say April - October?
Can i gert this spreadsheet please

Hey, have you tried your strategy during ny pm session?
Not really but only because I would never trade that time of day, because of where I live.
Any reason for not testing Indicies or do you find this strategy works better on the forex pair?
My main pairs for now are EURUSD & GBPUSD, but I also look at NAS100 & S&P500 for good quality setups

How's your ftmo challenge going?
I am still on ph2. I paused trading for a while. I will be getting back to action this week.
Unlikely to work in live trading due to spreads, fees etc more like 1.2:1.2 risk/reward per trade
