Max just seams like overall awesome guy the only time ive seen him actually get tilted is when he plays games online and someone actually tries to antagonize him and bully him like that Neto guy when he was playing MKX. (the guy is or was a streamer and was talking shit to max over the mic during their fight and then on his stream, im pretty sure he stream sniped him afterwards or somethng and kept talking shit) Other than that ive never seen Max angry or salty and that moment was awesome because he kicked that guys ass so badly and exposed him.

But in an interview with Harada and Akira Nishitani, Harada mentioned how genius Nishitani was when inventing 'buffering', and said he came up with the idea without realizing it's existing in Turbo lol. EX3 had interesting mechanics but compared to the more "traditional" EX2 Plus with custom combos making it feel like another Alpha 2/3, plus missing modes have some shitting on it.

EX3 will always have a place near and dear to my heart because it was and still is my favorite fighting game of all time simply because of the tag mechanics and character customization of Ace.
I'm in agreeance with you here! EX3 was such an amazing gem for its time, and the tag system felt beautiful! (Darun/Zangief's WWE pin combo was my favorite to do.) Although I will say that I wasn't totally happy with Ace. I feel like he should have had more options to work with, especially considering the amount that went into the Cycloids in EX@.
Dude, when I first saw a clip of Darun and Gief's meteor combination I shit myself! That's how hype I was. I saw clip because I never really played grapplers I was always one to play all the shotos but now with the recent Fighting Ex Layer I've been playing more Darun and I love him more than Gief in SFV.
That's awesome! When I learned that Fighting EX Layer was a real thing I was super psyched! I'm so disappointed that I don't have an appropriate counsel for it. I pretty much played every character well in all of the EX games except Pullum and Nanase (try as a may, I couldn't make them work for me. Blair was always one of my best in EX@ - I was so sad that she disappeared from the series. I really wanted the Arika characters to reappear in a SF game but they seemed to be lost forever, and so few people even acknowledge the EX series of games. (I was actually low key pissed when SF4 came out and was promoted by gaming sites as the first "3D" Street Fighter title.) I'm stoked for you guys who are getting to play those great characters again.
Baited by the title but this is one of the entertaining Max videos in a while. ARIKA partnered with Capcom were so ahead of it's time that back minded people who cling to outdated games (relative to the time of release of certain games) made titles like the EX series fall into obscurity. ARIKA could incorporate fun mechanics in FEXL or just crossover again with SF characters and/or other franchises.

@ Enosh Starcrod Yeah it really sucks that EX3 doesn't support the analog stick... actually I don't think any of the EX games did so unless you have a fight stick you have to use the dpad on your controller which sucks for fighting games in my opinion...
What world do you live in? Literally every single top fighting game player who competes at a high-level with a controller uses the d-pad. All of them. Literally. Every. Single. One. No one who plays fighting games competitively and places with any amount of consistency in tournaments - again, using a controller - uses analog stick over d-pad. Opinions can be wrong, and yours is wrong. D-pad is the objectively more precise method of controlling your character in fighting games when playing with a controller.

Plus it is rather... Bland. I bought it but the look of it was just not on par with other titles. It released super close to launch of the console so I forgave it. Still pull it out every now and then.
I loved EX Plus Alpha and EX 2 Plus, so it wasn’t that for me, for me EX3 just felt half assed, it had very few stages and didn’t even have a traditional arcade mode. Gameplay wise it’s pretty fun tho.

Man its funny I got here from Max's twitter and the SBF subreddit so I naturally assumed it was a joke. Looking at the comments definitely makes me realize that it could have been seen as another streamer having a huge meltdown. That said I still love the title and thumbnail and honestly it's not technically click bait since everything stated did happen. No one liked this game because it was 3D rather than sprite based, me included. We weren't ready for change.
All the EX games are in 3D
Plus it is rather... Bland. I bought it but the look of it was just not on par with other titles. It released super close to launch of the console so I forgave it. Still pull it out every now and then.
I loved EX Plus Alpha and EX 2 Plus, so it wasn’t that for me, for me EX3 just felt half assed, it had very few stages and didn’t even have a traditional arcade mode. Gameplay wise it’s pretty fun tho.
Agreed with you. It was just one of those things where everyone was used to 2d sprites and when the 3D sprites came out people just didn't want to give it a shot.

Man its funny I got here from Max's twitter and the SBF subreddit so I naturally assumed it was a joke. Looking at the comments definitely makes me realize that it could have been seen as another streamer having a huge meltdown.
That said I still love the title and thumbnail and honestly it's not technically click bait since everything stated did happen.
Edit: also it's kind of funny how much it says about streamers these days that you just readily believe that they all might meltdown at some point.

People do the same thing with kof maximun impact 2 ...that game is awesome ...is Just that people never learn how to play it...thats why i realy wish for a maximun impact 3 since geeze arived in teken 7.
As a big kof fan , I didn't like maximum impact the first one was too clunky but the last one was pretty dope.

@@LucasOliveira-vc9mz nah not tekken , even in it's earlier years tekken was complicated and intricate when it comes to movement, tekken doesn't implement mirrored moves it's quite the difference maker to other 3d fighting games.
MI was close to DOA and bloody roar. which is totally fine cause bloody roar was fcking amazing game the hours of time i spent oogling at nagi's short shorts were fun.
@@maosama3695 im taking about ground and wall bounce and parry systems that are similar ..rage art comes straight from dead or Alive 5 ....thats not a bad thing ...fightning games copy each other alot any way .

But ground bounce was first in Virtua fighters if I remember correctly.
