The microstate modifier is given to the Bektashi order because its inability to keep its population happy, lack of diplomatic power on the world stage, and incompetent army size. As an Englishman, I believe for these reasons the microstate modifier should also be given to France
Such an unusual video. I just found out about a proposed new muslim microstate with incredibly high religous tolerance, via some guy making an eu4 custom nation based upon them 😂
honestly, other than a few minor nitpicks I'd change, this seems like a genuinely cool campaign idea with some nice missions, and not just a satire mod I applaud your efforts in making this (and modifying the base map to get the province working)
I'd suggest you to move it and make it a bit bigger. Tirana is south of Kruje, not north. And, to make it historically "plausible", you could actually make it a vassal of the Ottomans.
I'd love to see this mod getting expanded with other releasable and existing microstates, like San Marino, Liechtenstein, Vatican City, Andorra or Monaco, it'd actually be hilarious to play with this and see one of those nations do well in like a 0.0000001% of games
@@LemonCake101 the original version of vic1 ended in 1901, but an expansion pack upped that to 1936, and that's been the Victoria series' end date ever since
I have a little bit funny CK2 game. Bektashi order somehow appeared in one Nenet province. It was my first game. I still don't know how and why it happened.
Not that this really matters, but for the national ideas, you'd want reverse opinion of heretics and same religion. With the way it is now, your own opinion of heretics and same religion gets decreased. And maybe split the province modifier into a permanent modifier and a triggered modifier? That way you only get the bonuses from it if you follow the Shia religion. I love the attention to historical detail you put into this!
No I want the opinion of heretics and heathens decreased, that is what I meant intentionally: these guys are hated by the Sunnis and Shia peeps. Otherwise thanks! I was considering a triggered modifier, but I found the concept of the province being flipped say Orthodox and becoming devote Orthodox peeps quite funny, hence left it as normal.
@@LemonCake101 Just to be clear, I just checked in your mod; this modifier changes the Bektashian opinion of heretics, not heretic's opinions of the Bektashi Order, which I believe is what you were going for.
I'm considering doing a colonizing playthough. Any suggestions?. I don't have the Cossacks (the dlc with colonial policies) golden century (the dlc for Iberia) respublica (the dlc that helps the Netherlands and adds a few features to republics). domination (a major dlc for most nations) the dlc for England (I forget what it was called. Through it's one that is universally helpful because of innovation, but it also has stuff for England such as it's religion) or winds of change (I mention it because it has stuff for most if not all nations that have done colonization historically, but not necessarily all that have stuff for it in there national ideas), though the relevant dlc's I have are the third rome (helps if I manage to get to the point where Siberian frontiers become usable outside of modern day Russia) the dlc that allows you to discover stuff in the new world (I forget if it was conquest of paradise or the other one that allows the option to support independence) mandate of heaven (regardless of if from age abilities, or being emperor of China) and common sense (while it's relevance is debatable, it does allow the abilities of being protestant which include something that can help)
If possible I'd like some options/things to do as that nation (for example the option to form rome, or some other achievements I can work on at the same time). But don't want to be effectively locked into only one option for religion unless there's a good enough reason (for example. Spain/castle has national ideas that help if your Catholic which effectively locks that as there only option. But nations such as france and England/great Britain don't need to be Catholic to have all there features from there ideas (though in the case of france it will mess with the mission tree), but if there's a good reason why to stay the religion then it could be used as an argument for that nation), lastly I would prefer a nation that isn't too difficult if possible or at the very least has manageable early disasters that can't be avoided (Japan has a difficult mix of show strength and conquest for almost all of the options among them. Castle has an early civil war. France needs to centralize. Aragon loses 2 rulers very quick. Navara is not exactly the easiest but there starting tier 1 reform could help. The Netherlands needs to be unified. Norway has it's own can of worms in regards to the potential stuff needed to do to survive, it doesn't need to be something anyone can do but I'd rather less of a need to reset to avoid stuff that can basically end the game early)
as ironic as it may sound... grab the subscription for a month, and cancel it right away so try it for a month. There are simply quite a few things you are missing here.
@@LemonCake101 i don't have the money for that, I'm also saving for the dlc that i mentioned helps the Netherlands and republics in general (apparently it also adds a reform for monarchy's. republics, and theocracy's)
