For Whose Advantage? is my favorite Xentrix album and one of my top Thrash Metal albums of all time. Shattered Existence, Bury The Pain and Seven Words are great albums as well. Xentrix are my favorite UK Thrash band. It'd be awesome if they tour North America someday.
Yeah Xentrix are great and the majority of their discography is very strong. I'm actually going to see them in a few weeks' time, they are playing at a venue about 30 minutes away from me. Hopefully they will make it over to the states again one day

@@mrboulder9714 Yeah you would think that they at least played over here in the 80s/90s but unfortunately no. It is what it is. It'd be awesome if they played in Canada/America but if not I'll have to see them elsewhere. Not just for Xentrix but those Metal cruises look like fun.

Im listening to shattered existence now its good. I seen the album cover for whose advantage many times but never really listened to them also this band was recommended to me. Your the few ppl with a xentrtix ranking so thanks heheh.
You hit the nail on the head with your description of ‘Kin’ there James… but imo it’s still miles better than ‘Scourge’! Apart from that… I couldn’t agree more with your ranking mate!🤘🏻

Yeah, my thoughts exactly the same about Kin! Never heard Scourge, never knew it existed. That new one is great, I still haven't got around to picking it up yet and the artwork is awesome. Never heard Buty The Pain. I never took much notice when they returned. For Whose Advantage would be my number one loved it when it came out. Shattered Existence is amazing though. Great ranking James!!
If you like the new one they you should definitely check out Bury The Pain mate. First 2 are absolutely essential, Kin is unbelievably poor considering the 2 that came before it. Cheers Dave

Completely forgot about that 96 album, but not essential by any means. Kin is quite weak compared to their other albums before it, a real step down, but glad they came back stronger.
Xentrix is a band for me that I have not heard all their albums but I do have For Whose Advantage and that album rips. I think after watching this video I will go and check out more of their stuff.
I first heard for who's advantage then I just fell in love with the band, loved there new relaae with seven words. Such an underrated band and I'm glad that more people are talking about them and then more people can find out about them

Great video James, I've been waiting for this ranking. Criminally underrated band. Swap place 2 and 1 and we would have the same list. For me 'For Whose Advantage?' is the ultimate Xentrix album, the riffs on that record are face melting. Also love that artwork, such iconic cover art. Great technicality in their riffs. 🤘🤘🤘
I always knew of Xentrix from back in the day but never got round to checking them out. I'll definitely give them a listen. Out of sheer curiosity I'll give that ballad from your number 6 (Kin) a listen too!!!!! Cheers!!
Xentrix are a thrash band I have always loved and have never really put out a bad album IMO. I would swap around Bury The Pain and 7 Words I think. Their first two albums would swap around on a weekly basis for me, both are superb. Great ranking James!

'Scourge' is one of the better groove metal albums from the late 90s, I agree. I'm hoping it's vet the Music On Vinyl treatment. 'For Whose Advantage?' is my favorite.
Kin definitely has its moments but on the whole it's pretty weak. Scourge surprised me, thought it wasn't gonna be great but it actually quite good. Cheers Kim
Great Xentrix ranking James! This is a band I've been wanting to check out for some time now, I love the red mist descends from Bury the pain. The vocals just sound like Chuck Billy! I didn't know they have a new vocalist on their latest albums, I thought it was the same guy. Definitely been meaning to check out the first 2 and the latest 2 for some time now, I definitely will at some point mate! 😊😁🤘🤘

I talked to the guy who produced the kin album. Both him and the band were really happy with it and roadrunner were not. Not many people know that. Coming to Scotland to watch them play with us (slammer) and Acid Reign in sept?
Hi, thanks for watching. That's really interesting to hear that, I,thought it sounded like an album the record company would have wanted them to make to cash in on the whole commercial Metal that was happening at the time. I can't make that gig sadly, shame as the line up is great.

I love Kin personally and think order of chaos is arguably the best song they’ve done. Also Another day is prob my fave track of thiers 😜 scourge is great as well but the new stuff is phenomenal 🤘🤘🤘
