Unlocking Harmony: Mastering Minor and Major Progressions

I absolutely love the minor progression in particular. Even without the bass guitar or even the bass on keys, it sounds so hip and cool. As you were referring to the D#/Eb key, I prefer to see this as going from 6 - 7 - 2 - 2. I guess it depends on how you look at it but I am referencing the progression without any bass at all. I love how the minor progression sits on the G 😊. Very R & B like! Thanks for this!

The minor is my favourite as well especially the last 2 chords - F minor 11 and F major 9th as they are in a way rootless chords without the bass but it’s interesting to know that you referencing the progression without the bass😎
