    I like that well doesn’t hold your bitcoin for days before it allows you to send it to cold storage. I like that wealthsimple makes it extremely easy to smash buy bitcoin but then you have to wait five business days to send it to cold storage. Although, with small amounts this isn’t such a problem because it’s valuable to send larger UTXOs anyway.

    The video is nice and easy Ben, but one thing I don't know, and I would have to search is regarding KYC with Bitcoin Well if you are in Canada.

    @pilotboba 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    If you DCA with this won't you get some smaller UTXOs?

    Is the Interac e-Transfer funding option available to USA users? Or is it only a funding option for Canadian users? And can users in the USA use Cashapp for funding an account? Or are USA customers only limited to "Online Bank Transfer" and "Wire Transfer" funding options? Lastly , can USA customers use a Prepaid Credit Card option for funding an account?

    I don’t think buying straight to cold storage makes sense for smaller amounts. You’d end up with a bunch of UTXOs to consolidate later in a potentially high fee environment.
    I still prefer to withdraw less frequently from a reputable, Bitcoin-only exchange once my UTXO would be a million sats or so… but to each their own.

    • @thejessallen
      @thejessallen 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This is what I was thinking and curious why UTXOs for lower amount transactions wasn’t mentioned?

      What exchange do you use to do that with? It is a a very forward thinking approach.

    curious about UTXOs small amounts on a wallet - do you recommend once ur sparrow wallet has a bunch of small deposits - to consolidate by sending in a batch somewhere else?

    Great video, thank you! Just signed up as CA user, and my account was verified, but I noticed that my daily limits are only $1000 per day? I noticed you had 1M limit daily. Is this something you earn as part of the reward/points system?

    I am a beginner at bitcoin and wondering what information do I give my bank in the U.S. to get them to send to my wallet using bitcoin Well. Maybe a tutorial on this would help. I currently have a Muun wallet but have yet to actually buy any bitcoin. Also, do you think that people who are a little dyslexic should not get involved with bitcoin because of the chance of a mistake and losing their money?

    Nice Presentation! Question: What are Bitcoin Well's Fees For Selling and for buying BTC? (Canadian)

    • @BTCSessions
      @BTCSessions  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I believe in their main page it says there's a flat fee of 1%. Of course that's assuming you use the free batched withdrawals, otherwise you'll also have an on chain fee based on your preference of speed.

      Yup, this is KYC - primary focus with Bitcoin Well is convenience and speed of getting your funds to self custody. Anyone leaning strict non-kyc will have to weigh what they use based on their preferences.

      You absolutely can! If your Coldcard was on Sparrow Wallet, you could just grab an address from that. It would be instantly in self custody/cold storage.

      @@BTCSessions is the passphrase (25th word if I understand correct) used on the blockchain? or is it ONLY to access the physical cold wallet? trying to figure out if it is possible to have multiple wallets (different phrases) so that if 1 seed phrase is compromised they don't get everything?
      I took your advise ab the Mk4 and also thinking about the Q but they were on backorder.... but will I need multiple cold wallets for multiple seed phrases?
