Good luck at Edinburgh! I'll be there too, aiming for roughly 3.15 and starting from the red pen, give me a shout if you're doing something similar and want to get a pack going!
Great review of your training Fordy. Agree for my next training block need to work on strength stuff. Hope it goes well for you. What wave are you in am in orange
Which wave are you in? I am orange. Long runs have been my weakness, too. Most of my fast finish long runs have petered out a few miles earlier than planned. I still don't understand how runs up to 20 miles at a full minute per mile slower than goal can properly prepare my body for race day, but fingers crossed it all comes together.
@@FordyRuns I shall probably see you twice: when I cruise past you in the first few miles, still dreaming of Boston, then again near the end, when you pass me shuffling desperately for the finish, vowing never again to put myself through this.

Thank you mate
Good luck have enjoyed watching your training think you will smash it
Thank you!
If you're running a 42 10k and a 1:38 half.....surely you should be aiming sub 3:30?.....why 3:50?
Coz I had surgery in Jan
@@FordyRuns seems a valid reason :) ...you should still hit that 3:50 though...good luck for next week...looking forward to the vid!
