    Thank you for this excellent summary of the 12-fold link of dependent origination. I particularly appreciated the last few minutes, in which you explained so clearly the illusory nature of reincarnation. And, that by seeking to escape the wheel of birth and death, one is not longing for non-existence, but rather for complete enlightenment, i.e. realization of our true nature, which is birthless and deathless. Namo Amitabha Buddha 🌈

      ? What’s the difference? Amituofo

  • @allisongerfin7804
    @allisongerfin7804 23 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

    The issue of abortion is much more complex than "just don't do it." In the US we are confronting what happens when access to a basic healthcare need is denied. There is much pain, suffering, death and loss caused by prohibiting abortion. We need to take all into account as it is not a simple black and white moral issue. Please examine it more. It can be legal and compassionate and a personal choice. It's in the intent, isn't it?

    • @PureLandBuddhism
      @PureLandBuddhism  23 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      It’s true, like many issues which are not black and white. But because the consciousness is already there, so doesn’t matter you kill it for whatever reason, it is still considered an act of killing and one will have the bear the karmic consequences of it. (What’s legal in this world may not be considered so in the law of karma) If one has to have abortion, make sure one does many good deeds and transfer merit to the aborted foetus (or he will take revenge and hold grudge for sure), such as read the Ksitigarbha Sutra for him/her for 7 times and tell him to Nianfo and seek rebirth to the Pure Land. So best one takes responsible actions beforehand to avoid this situation. Amituofo

    In all the pain n sufferings, which is the most biggest sufferings?? Is it deaths?
    Originally we were spirits only, that never Dies

  • @waykee3
    @waykee3 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

    I believe it’s all about karmic debts from “past” lives as well as karmic desires that we have prior to this physical birth in this current physical body of ours.
    I don’t think it’s that easy as just believing and hoping that we can change our reality based on what we truly want and to make “reality” disappear or become what we want to. Because if it is truly that easy, everyone would have just done it and there would be no “suffering”.

    • @waykee3
      @waykee3 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Also, physical life itself is not suffering. It feels like only because we give meaning that it is suffering (for example we encounter situations that we don’t like personally). We don’t actually look to the joy that we actually wanted when we have certain desires to want to be in this physical body.
      It’s all about the mindset. We focus too much on a little bit of “negative” and don’t focus on the exact joys that we can have being in this physical body.

    Can a pratyekabuddha help others in the dharma-ending age?

    • @PureLandBuddhism
      @PureLandBuddhism  24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Not really, Pratyekabuddha can’t really expound the Dharma like the bodhisattvas, because they haven’t generated bodhicitta like the bodhisattvas✨🙏Amituofo

    But how did the ignorance arise? And did this ignorance separate us from the Dharmakaya?

  • @ghij-t6n
    @ghij-t6n 22 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Very nice subject I love it, but has some questions?
    We our true selfs were spirits only at the beginning originated from non duality platform.. at that time, there was no time, space, deaths, changes, ignorance, mind n 5 sensory perceptions, we were pure spirits only
    Then we descended to earth because wants to have all types of experiences.. to have experiences spirits were given false fake bodies, like example thinking mind, body and 5 sensory perceptions..
    The first body given to the spirit was MIND.. when spirit was dressed up with mind, games of duality, time, space, changes, deaths Started.. MIND created this games of repeated deaths..
    So now how to get ourselves freed from this cycle of repeated deaths?
    How to get the complete MIND surrendered fully, so there won t be any pieces of mind left including the higher mind??
    Does Buddhism talks on mysticism of SOUNDS in meditation??
    To experience mystics sounds in meditation??
    Example sound of bells, sound of counch, sound of drum, sound of thunder, sound of flute, sound of violin and ETC??
