MCR is one of those bands where if your happy to be there, contribute, and enjoy the experience, they'll give you 100 and 10 % effort. Most people show up and look at the band like they're watch tv as if the band can't see your emotionless expression. Live performances thrive off of the energy of the crowd. You give the crowd energy, they bounce it back, you then know it's a memorable show.

Gerard literally sings in a tenor register.... such a unique voice. He had so much power and control, and he could sing in any genre, nowadays "singers" are literally talentless and rely on pure autotune. Gerard's voice is honestly insane. One of the hardest for me to sing. He is definitely up there with Mercury, Plant, and Axl as the greatest rock voices of all time
